CHAPTER THIRTY ONE




Tanisha and Akshay's mum leave in the morning itself.Akshay and Mamta along with her parents leave for the temple.In the car Akshay irritates Mamta by pulling he hair,ticling her etc; 😆 😆She frowns at him nodding towards her parents...

"Mamta,Akshay you bothdrop us at the bus stop..and then we'll go from there ourselves.Mamta,look after Akshay and yourself.We'll be waiting for you two.... 😭 "

Mamta hugs her parents and Akshay smiles 😊consoling them....The weather was really stormy that morning and the fate had something else stored for them .On the way to the temple their car hits a lorry and falls into the gorge😲...............

............After some days,Mamta is in a hospital....she murmurs and comes into her consciousness.

"Akshay....Akshay..... 😭 😭 Ma....Baba......"

"Oh,nurse she's gaining her consciousness.Go and call Dr.Garima.Hurry up!!"

"Can you hear me???What is your name 😕 ??"

"Mamta....Where's my Akshay???Akshay! Akshay!...my parents..."

"Calm down,Mamta.You are in the hospital.You are here since one month.And who's this Akshay?"

"Akshay...my husband,my Ma...Baba.They were with me when that ... 😭 😭 😭 Oh!!please I want to see them...my Akshay...how is he?please take me to him...please doctor... 😭 😭"

"Mamta,please calm down.I really don't know where they are?? cos I am newin this hospital😕.Oh!! Dr. Garima,thank god ,you've come...see this patient is asking for someone called Akshay...where is her husband??"

"OMG,Mr.singh!!! 😭 They died in the crash.We could only rescue her.... 😭 "

"N-O-O-O-O-O-O!!! you are lying...My akshay ,my Ma Baba can't leave me...no I don't believe you....take me to my Akshay... 😡 " she yelled and cried madly.

"Mamta...Mamta.....control yourself....it's not good for your health and also for your child's health... 😕 "

Mamta is shocked and stunned by that word.... "My child....What do you mean? 😕 😭 "

"Yes,Mamta...your child.You are one month pregnant.You are going to be a mother 😊 😭 "

"My child 😭 Akshay suna tumne...our child but where are you??Why have you left me here???Please come back soon 😭 😭 😭 ."

"Doctor,can you call my friend Tanisha at this number...and tell her that I'm here."

"Ya,sure...but you've to promise me that you'll lie down and take rest till I return...okay 😊 "

She goes out and dials the number... "Hello!! can I speak to Ms.Tanisha."

"Yes,Tanisha here.May I know who's speaking??"

"I am Dr.Garima Joshi from Green hospital...Your friend Mamta is here....she wants to meet you...She has regained her consciousness just now...She's really shattered as she has lost her husband and family... 😭 "

"W-H-A-T??????Mamu...Mamu is alive😲....okay,okay I'll reach there tomorrow morning."

"Mamta,I've talkd to her and she'll reach here by tomorrow..."

"Doctor...I know that my Akshay is alive.I want to go and find him...and my Ma Baba.Please let me go "

"Mamta....we'll find them.You lie down,you are still very weak and you need to have complete rest until someone from your family takes you from here cos now you are our responsibility.I promise you that I'll help you to find your husband and parents..but now take rest."

She lies on the bed and sees her GB on the side table 😭 .... "Mamta,when you were found this idol was in your hand.."

"GB,where is my Akshay???Why has all this happened?? 😭 😭 😭Please help me to find my Akshay and my Ma Baba."

She hugs the idol and falls asleep. 😭

.....The next morning Mamta is sitting on a swing in the garden remembering Akshay.... She touches her stomach and says, "Beta,your Pappa will come soon and take us from here 😭 😊 ."

"Mamta,The doctor is calling you.There's someone to see you." said an attendant.

"Really...it must be my Akshay.See I knew it.Please take me to him quickly."

In the doctor's room...Tanisha is waiting for her along with Mrs.Rakhi Sharma.

"Tanu 😭 ...where's my Akshay?Hasn't he come along with you???Ma where's he?"

"Mamta...beta....what have you done to yourself???OMG.... 😭 😭how will I tell you? "

" "No,Mum.I'll tell her."

"Mamu,Akshay is in Mumbai and we've come to take you home..."

"Tanu...where's my Ma Baba?"

"Mamu...they are .....no more..and we thought that you too 😭 ......but thank God...you're alive.I am so happy to see you ,Mamu.."

"Tanu...my parents...my God...How will I live without them? 😭 😭 😭 "

Mamta brings her GB and the doctor tells her to take good care of her health 😊 .

"Mrs.Sharma...Mamta is your daughter-in-law and there's a good news I want to give you...She's going to be a mother and you a grandma.. 😃 "

Tanisha and Rakhi are dumbfounded with shock😲.

"See God's miracle when he took away two lives,he also blessed Mamta with another life..to pacify her grief. 😊 😳 "

Rakhi hugs Mamta and cries 😭 😭 .They reach Mumbai and Rakhi takes Mamta to her home.

"Ma,Why have you brought me here to my house.I want to see my Akshay...Come let's go... 😊 😕 "

"Mamta,beta...I want to tell you something.Beta,God plays really strange games and what happens is all in our destiny...we can't deny it...we have to face it at any cost... 😭 "

"Ma,why are you saying all this?You are really scaring me.. 😕 I want to see my Akshay...come let's go."

"Mamta,you can't go... 😭 "

"Why ,Ma?"

"cos you are not my Akshay's wife anymore 😭 Tanisha is...."

😲Mamta stands petrified on the spot.

"Mamta after we were unable to recover your body...we thought God had snatched you from us.....your parents were found dead...and Akshay was in comma.....when he got his senses back he had lost his memory till the day he came to your house for the marriage proposal.... 😭 In the hospital Tanisha took care of him,day and night....and as people were saying a lot of things about them and Tanisha liked him we thought of getting them married....But Akshay wasn't willing,he ageed for it only for my sake cos I pleaded in front of him 😭 Just few days ago they both got married....Now ,you tell me whose fault is it?mine....or ....yours....this was written in our fate....Mamta 'am sorry.Beta,please forgive me..."

Mamta falls unconscious and is taken to the hospital.Tanisha's mobile rings and it's Akshay.... "Tanisha where are you?You and mum have reached Mumbai or not?"

"Yes,Akshay we have reached Mumbai and we'll soon reach home...Howz your health ?"

"Ya, I am fine....I'll just go to the doctor and show him my right leg cos it has been paining since some time...but don't worry i'll reach home when you two come...bye 😊 "

"Ok,bye"

Tanisha is worried and goes into Mamta's room.The doctor says, "Tanisha she's really very weak and she's also carrying so, you'll have to take good care of her.You can take her right now,but you have to bring her for checkups on the following dates..." and the doc. hands her a chit.Mamta is sad and blank...

"Where's her husband?"

"Husband...he's ....not here 😕 ."

"Well,at this time he should always be with her... "

Mamta gets up and runs to the hospital temple.Tanisha runs behind her.

"Mamu,I am sorry 😭 ....I'll tell him that you are his real wife 😭 ....He thinks that you have married someone in Mussourie 😭 ....we had to lie to him cos he was in no condition to bear the shock of your death.The doctors said it was dangerous for his life..please forgive me 😭 ...Mamu...please... 😭

" 😭 No...Tanu...you won't tell him the truth...at no cost...he'll be devastated...My life is already spoiled and I don't want to ruin your life too.It 's in my fate....and you are not gonna tell him...you got me 😭 "

"Mamu....but...."

Mamta walks away not listening to her.There at home Akshay takes out a diary and picks out Mamta's photo😳from it and says, "Mamta,you left me alone here,i don't have any grudges against you...I just want you to be happy whereever you are...I know that you didn't love me...all I saw in your eyes was a dream....nothing else.That night after I left your place,tanisha told me that I had met with an accident and she took me to the hospital...and when I came into my senses,I came to know that you have married someone else....tum mujhse door ho par ab bhi dil ke kareeb ho....kaise bhula doon tumhe....kaise nikaloon tumhe is dil se...insan hoon mein...khuda toh nahi hoon 😭I still love you....I love you Mamta..."

A breeze comes in through the open window and her photo flies away..Akshay runs behind it.......

There at hospital Rakhi comes in and tells "Tanisha,I've arranged for a maid,a driver and a watchman for Mamta at her home....They'll look after her,and we can go there everyday...you don't have to worry now.."

"Mum,how can you do this?She's pregnant and that too with your son's child and you want to leave her alone in the care of strangers...I won't allow this...no...no 😕😡Mum,she's gonna stay with us..."

"But,Tanisha... 😕 "

"No.mum...What I've said is final...if she isn't coming so 'am I.. "

"Ok,as you wish.....but it would affect your relationship with Akshay..."

Mamta at first denies a lot but when Tanisha swears in her name she agrees...also deep in her broken heart there was an urge to see Akshay and to know how was he?They reach home where everyone's waiting for them but,they get shocked to see Mamta...but her eyes were searching for only Akshay and Akshay.... 😭 😳 who wasn't there.

"Mamta,beta you are alive...OMG,how thankful I'm to God....How are you beta??" asked Rishi Sharma...Akshay's dad.

Rani runs to her and hugs her crying 😭 😭 .

"Rani,take Mamta didi to the room in front of ours.She's not feeling well. 😊 "

"Come didi.... 😊 "

Tanisha too leaves behind them.Rakhi tells the entire family about what has happened and also tells them to keep it secret from Akshay.................

Akshay comes and goes into his room and calls Tanisha...Mamta hears his sound and is overwhelmed with happiness and rushes out of her room but she stops halfway thinking about the reality and when she turns sadly to return back to her room ...Akshay calls her from behind. "Who are you?"

She doesn't turn and tears fall down her eyes.He recogonises her in that one look and comes near her and turns her and says, "Mamta... 😳You and here.I won't ask you about your marriage....has he also come with you...I was searching for you like mad....but then they all told me that you've married someone...and you never even thought of me ,ek baar bhi nahi.... 😭 " but then he stops when he sees Tanisha....

"Akshay,we went to Mussourie to bring her home from the hospitalShe lost her husband in an accident... 😕 "

Mamta is sad and shocked to hear that and cries silently...Akshay looks shocked too and when he tries to go to her ,Tanisha says, "Mamta go and take rest.We'll talk later..."

Mamta goes in with tears in her eyes.Being so close to Akshay she couldn't even get a glance of him...she prayed to GB to stop torturing her like this...she pleaded... 😭 😭 😭 Akshay is sad for what happened to her but he too feels happy to see her.Tanisha tells him that as she has no one to take her care and her brother is far away at the border she'll stay with us.

His mum rushes into their room looking worried.
"Mamta,beta!!what happened??Are you alright??? 😕 "

"Maa,everything is fine...Akshay gets scared very quickly.Your grandson is just like your son....was playing football...the kick was a bit strong and I screamed....that's it!!...... 😆 😆 😆 Oh!!Maa...look at him.... 😳 bilkul bachon jaise hain......"

"Akshay,beta...you are so excited to become a father......it seems just a few years ago that you were born and now you yourself are going to be a father...I really 'am very happy for both of you."

"Maa,everything is fine...Akshay gets scared very quickly.Your grandson is just like your son....was playing football...the kick was a bit strong and I screamed....that's it!!...... 😆 😆 😆 Oh!!Maa...look at him.... 😳 bilkul bachon jaise hain......"

His mum leaves ,blessing them....Akshay turns to her looking grumpy.

"Akshay,now why arte you looking so grumpy??Okay,baba...I'm sorry...Now please go and take your bath...you'll be late for college.."

"Okay,okay...I'm going...but you are not going to move from this place until I come out....understood.."

He goes into the bathroom and Mamta smiles 😊 at him...She takes out his clothes and her's and gets ready to change......

She takes out a pink saree and starts draping it,when Akshay comes out and is stunned on seeing her.He comes from her behind and holds her in his arms.....

"Akshay....no badmashi 😳 ....allow me to wear this saree....leave me!!! 😳 "

"Mamta...this isn't badmashi...this is just my love for you....whenever you wear this pink saree,i can't resist myself....I feel like looking at you all the time...."

Mamta..smiles shyly and looks down 😳 ......

"Mamta....I love you.....I love you 😳"He comes closer and pushes the wet hair from her face,she blushes,her heartbeats increasing. She tries to move back.....he smiles and leaves her.....She turns away smiling [Back ground song:Tumhe pata toh hoga.....hey shona...hey shona...hey!shona...hey shona

"Here take your dress and let me wear this saree....see you've spoiled my saree with the water dripping from your hair.Now hurry up or you'll be late for college."

Akshay drops her at Tanisha's home and leaves for the college as he had an important seminar to be attended.Tanisha and Mamta goes to the hospital and after the checkup they both reach the college,but Akshay wasn't there.

"Hey!!Arjun have you seen Akshay somewhere???"

"Mamta,he's gone on an important study tour with the delegates who presented the seminar....He asked me to tell you that it was all set suddenly and it was inevitable because as the team leader he had to be present with the group at any cost...he'll return within one week...he'll call you soon...maybe it's a network problem...."

Mamta is sad and looks worried 😭 ...but she controls herself and prays to GB for his wellbeing... "Thankyou Arjun"Tanisha consoles her.

"Mamu,don't be sad 😕 ....he's gone for a good thing...it's important for both of you's future...he'll be back soon...don't take stress and spoil your health..or when he comes and finds his Mamta and Junior sad he'll feel guilty...so cheer up and hope for the best.."

After the classes Mamta tries his mobile but it said out of range....

"He'll call you after reaching there.Mamu,seven months have passed since your marriage and your love for each other has only bloomed more and more with each passing day.....And this is all cos of your strong faith in GB and this baby is a gift from him to both of you....who'll add infinite joys and colours to your love... 😊 😳 "

"Yes,Tanu...I can't wait for my child....our child..I see him in my dreams...his innocent eyes 😳 ,his tiny fingers 😳 ,his naughty smile 😳 ....his lispy talk 😳 ....calling me Maa 😳 ...walking with wobbly steps 😳 ....filling my life with all the happinessess inthe world 😳 ....bilkul Akshay ke jaisa 😳 ....Tanu..the feeling of becoming a mother....feeling your child ,the gift of your love 😳 ...growing inside you...kicking you...is something that takes you closer to God....You feel the presence of God....my GB...Akshay is not away from me...I can feel him here in my womb...near our child.....the feeling of motherhood is magical.....I feel like flying high among the clouds.....dancing with the cool breezes...tossing with the flowers......it's divine... 😳 "
