Yes, the storyline is different and I like the production value with shootings in Poland and Varanasi. Since the show is supposed to be only for 40 episodes, the channel is less likely to interfere and spoil the story for ratings. And hopefully no saas bahu and unlimited melodrama or too much emphasis on regular type of love stories that are prevalent on TV these days.

I liked Seema Biswas's character and her look - especially her wearing sneakers in the shamshan ghat and her way of making money where she knows enough broken English to do good business. Also the child actors were good especially the second one. His eyes were expressive and I liked the final scene between him and Seema's Biswas's character.

Heard it's the most expensive serial in India...shot extensively abroad as well...and season one will have 60 episodes and season 2 may follow...looking forward to seeing it

Waise interesting thought came to me,since the show has a backdrop of Amrit manthan...during Amrit manthan out of the invaluables found ...one was a flower named Parijat ;-)

Ela finally watched the episode, it's interesting, realistic & intriguing.. I liked the first chubby cute little boy and his bond with Mayi Mui

Seema Biswas is refreshing funny with the foreigner while emotional bond with Rudra.. Rudra character is so intense, especially the second kid scene in the last with seema is so emotional...

Liked the shift symbolism, and also the tatoo on Rudra back..Waiting for today episode..Feeling like watching the best quality episode & serial after a long time..
