Hi Riti, I was struggling to get some sleep as tomorrow will be a busy day for me and thought to browse a little here. Thus I came across your this story and I must say this is really really marvellous. I've to admit that it got me misty eyed (in last part) and also got me a cracking laugh (when he called you Devi. We usually won't call people that, isn't it?). I've been imagining Karna (in fact Aham) standing in front of you (I see only your hair as my view is from behind you) on a lake shore and you two speaking. In my imagination, there was a big fort on the opposite shore of the lake, and a few big trees to your left. The lake had some lotuses and swans in it. And there was a beautiful loan with a myriad of small red & white flowers near to the trees and a walk way all around the lake. The right side must be west, because I saw evening sun. For the amazing actor Aham is, I've gone another world. And an amazing writer you're. Because I read all parts in one stretch. I hardly read fictions in forums, especially ones with multiple parts. But I must say your lucid language makes me keep reading continuous. I wish you both go for a never ending walk and I get to read all that.

I usually don't write long stories..but this one had to be told in many parts..it started light.. Got serious in between but I will try to give it a happy end :).. Hope u will enjoy .

riti ... i just realized i had not commented here .. well written part.. yes we all make mistakes and karna was entitled to his own and he must have realized it too.. but he was way too a loyal friend to switch sides..
