well this is what kunti thinks before she goes to karna that by telling him the truth she will draw his heart towards his brother's if you want i can provide the citation as well

Complete agreements. Every woman cannot accept these things. Kunti did it willingly. Still she is bashed for bad motherhood...so sad... that too when its her boon which gave Madri Nakul Sahdev... 😊 She never did anything wrong with her five sons. Kunti's only mistake was saying those words without knoeing... after Draupadi came... she should have looked. But nothing else. She was a very good mother. 😃

@bold agree ur right kunti never did anything wrong with her five sons .. but she did all wrong only to karna.. . because karn was poor son her than five sons. until karn died . 😛as well karna' had losted everything only her his life. also . but my view kunti was a good mother only pandava's side not karna side.. 😛

1. Teenage mistake - She did think of all that would go wrong if the Mantra worked. Still did it because she could not resist temptation

2. For Karna's good - Well I dont know how much this should be repeated. She herself says to herself she wants to weaken his heart and never 'thought' to bring Karna to her side. If that was her thought, how can a mother immediately come up with Plan B saying ok if you dont come it is fine but promise me not to kill the 5. In her thoughts, this was not Plan B but the only plan.

3. Stopping War - She was the one who sent a message thru Krishna that the Pandavas should never think of stopping war and it is their justice. Dint she know for whom Karna will fight when she sent this message? This message and her convo happened almost back to back.

About she as a mother of Pandavas, I am not sure.. but can give her the credit as she wanted them to live atleast..

about the poll, I dont know what Yes and No mean when the poll question is Like or Dislike..

Make that 2: I too accidentally voted no, misreading the question. I assumed that a no was a vote against Kunti, then read the 🤬 question. 😡

If kunti was a bad mother suryanarayan was a bad father too...he is GOD he just can't leave the matter by saying i m god I can't help it I have to impregnate u according to durvasas mantra...he never looked out fr his son expect for appearing in his dream n asking him nt to give away his KK. N dat was also a very feeble attempt IMO cos any one who knows karna knows he just WONT refuse anyone who asks fr donation, however big it is...this actually shws d male attitude n our society, impregnate a teenager, never look back again n the society keeps blaming the mother, no one questions the father...there r many shades to this story...
And I really don't get what's wrong in kunti being concerned fr pandavas victory...

And honestly if the one so called mistake makes her bad then i wonder what you should call a person who keeps making "mistakes" over and over --supports and encourages his friends "mistakes" and refuses to even admit it as a mistake and calls it just and righteous -- you might as well blame all that on kunti too.

None of the devas were good or bad fathers: they weren't fathers while Kunti's sons were living on bhulok. After their deaths, everybody except Yudisthir & Arjun ended up w/ their fathers, while those 2 ended up w/ Vishnu in Vaikuntha. Bhima ended up w/ Vayu, the twins w/ the Ashwins & Karna w/ Surya. That was the point where the Pandavas' divine fathers took possession of them.

But on earth, Pandu was the father of YBANS. For him to have had parentage of Karna, Kunti would have had to reveal to him the truth about Karna, which she for whatever reason never did. As a result, Karna had no mortal father as far as Kunti went, and Adiratha once one counts in his adoption

TG someone else said what I was thinking. There is a very ugly name we use these days when a young girl tries to see how far she can go and then does not get to say NO. Also how about taking care of said son if you know Mom cant do it?

Still, of course, Kunti is to blame for what she did 11th hour. But she is also to blame for Panchali being married to all 5.

About the Paanchali thing, wasn't that predestined. If not Kunti, then someone else would have to be blamed.
