In the sbs segment today the pandavas were ready to eat the kauravas . Yeah trust me it seemed like that . Bheem said "Duryodhan khabar daar jo kisine bhi panchaali ko haath lagaya toh main issi samay uski hathya kar doonga" , Arjun said " maharaj dhrit jis prakaar aapne humein andhakar mein duboya hai main bhi aapki samast jeevan ko andhakar main dubo dunga " Nakul said " jesht aap humein yuddh karne ka aadesh dijiye" Sahadev said " jesht ya to aap humein yuddh karne dein yaa issi samay marjaane dein" . Suprisingly even Yuddhi said duryodhan apni maryaada main raho . I don't know if I should say it was funny or it should've happened in the epic too ..
But what's with dis Draupadi . Why is she properly dressed n all decked up with jewellery?? She was supposed to be in her menstruation isn't it ??

Me too think ditto . And besides that I also think that ⭐️karna would be a mute spectator and not even say a word .. Hide his face in his dupatta ..

Hope they don't make this Karna Mr goody goody who just hides his face in shame. I watched the old MB yesterday, specifically for this scene and they were quite honest to the original story. Karna was quite vocal against Draupadi and that's why Arjun pledged to kill him when the time came.

And because Draupadi was having periods at that time, she was clad in a simple outfit with very little jewelry and her hair were already open.

I agree with both of you.
And
If i remember correctly Karna was the one who said to Duryo. that "Make Draupadi seat on your LAP."
And Duryo. agrees and ask Draupadi to seat on his Lap
And this is the time when Bhim took vow to break Duryo.'s Lap and kill him.

So Karna had KEY role in MahaBharat ...but looks like StarBharat is going to show something else..

And surprisingly Duryodhan's lap, ie. his thighs are the weakest part of his body. Duryodhan was actually extremely strong, but he had an Achilles' heel, his thighs. That is because there are two known stories.

One is that Gandhari, who took a vow to never see for the sake of her blind husband gets a boon that whomever she sees after removing her blindfold, she can either destroy or make them extremely strong and invincible.
The other being she has an aushidhi or in better words an oil, that, when rubbed on a person makes him or her extremely strong.

So in both the possible instances she advices Duryodhan to stand naked infront of her (when he's young :P) so that she can make him invincible. But Krishna makes fun of him by taking Dussala's form and teasing him that he'd go stark naked in front of his mother shamelessly.

So Duryodhan, embarrassed puts on pants or dhoti or whatever and thus his thighs are not prone to the super eye powers or the super oil powers! :D

So friends we see Krishna's mahima playing its part again when conveniently Duryodhan asks Draupadi to sit on his lap and Bheem swears to squish his thighs! And that is exactly how Mr Andhe ka bada beta dies.

Actually Karna was one of the many reasons why Kurukshetra happened. Solely blaming him would be wrong. Karna's biggest mistake was that he took Duryodhan's side inspite of knowing that the later was wrong. He is asked very nicely by Krishna to change paths and fight for the Pandavas because he was their oldest brother and inspite of knowing that he was fighting against his own blood, Karna chooses the Kauravas. I don't blame him, Karna felt deceived throughout his life and he held a grudge against his birth mother, Kunti and it was his human nature speaking.

Vastraharan happened because of many reasons. One because Duryodhan had an ego equivalent to the Universe. Two Karna felt insulted when Draupadi refused to marry him. Three, Draupadi was not like any other woman in her era. She was extremely strong and fiery and thus her mouth was her undoing. Karna states that he had seen women more beautiful than her, but had never come across a woman who had such a sharp tongue and in those days women were supposed to be docile and serene and homely. Draupadi was sharp and brave.

Another reason was Yudhishtir. First of all a man who claimed to have followed the path of righteousness all his life gambled and that makes me laugh! And secondly he put his own family at stake and shut his mouth when he was being stripped off his wealth. Now such silence makes anyone take advantage of it. And so, Duryodhan knew Arjun and Bheem were bound to their brother's orders and would have to keep quite, so he played with Draupadi while he could!

"Hearing these words of Bhimasena king Duryodhana addressed Yudhishthira who was silent and deprived of his senses, saying,--'O king, both Bhima and Arjuna, and the twins also, are under thy sway. Answer thou the question (that hath been asked by Draupadi). Say, whether thou regardest Krishna as unwon.' And having spoken thus unto the son of Kunti, Duryodhana. desirous of encouraging the son of Radha and insulting Bhima, quickly uncovered his left thigh that was like unto the stem of a plantain tree or the trunk of an elephant and which was graced with every auspicious sign and endued with the strength of thunder, and showed it to Draupadi in her very sight. And beholding this, Bhimasena expanding his red eyes, said unto Duryodhana in the midst of all those kings and as if piercing them (with his dart-like words),--'Let not Vrikodara attain to the regions, obtained by his ancestors, if he doth not break that thigh of thine in the great conflict. And sparkles of fire began to be emitted from every organ of sense of Bhima filled with wrath, like those that come out of every crack and orifice in the body of a blazing tree."

The para above does not state Karna telling Duryodhana to tell Draupadi to sit on his thigh. Here is the link for future reference.

Wow! where'd ya get this? And no, Karna doesn't ask Duryodhan to ask Draupadi to sit on his lap. He instigates the disrobing.
