KMG?? I would so love to go and read from there!! :D :D :D
Karna was an insulted soul. Draupadi was the reason for one of the those insults of his life and thus he didn't let go off the opportunity of giving her the taste of her own medicine.

KMG as in Kisari Mohan ganguli, There are many translations of the Sanskrit Version of Ved vyas mahabharata since it is 5000 years old nobody knows the absolute truth while nobody knows what is absolutely wrong . People often quote KMG translation because it is publicly available online. For more info go read the post by the user, varaali Here on how the Epic came to its final point.

EDIT: I just read the excerpts from the text that people have posted. I think we can fairly arrive at the conclusion that Shakuni won by a combination of deceit and expertise at the game. And a large part of the cheating was perhaps that Shakuni had an unfair advantage over Yudisthir, and was adept at tweaking the rules of the game to his favour. (IMO)

i think the same

Shakuni himself mentions many time he has special knowledge of this game and skills so may be he knew how to get the correct number etc and he used this skill unfairly to take away yudi's kingdom

this can be compared to lagaan situation where Britisher's highly skilled in cricket challenge poor villagers who arent' skilled at it with intention of stealing their lands.Which is unfair

But my question still remains that as per the epic yudi was very well aware about all this?so why did he continue playing why didnt he stop in between it was clear he never had any chance of winning?after playing a few stakes why didn't he leave?or is leaving also against some dharam

I totally agree with you. Pandavs were not as vocal as they have shown on SBS segment. Also, Karna plays a big role in the cheer haran scene. Hope they don't make this Karna Mr goody goody who just hides his face in shame. I watched the old MB yesterday, specifically for this scene and they were quite honest to the original story. Karna was quite vocal against Draupadi and that's why Arjun pledged to kill him when the time came.

And because Draupadi was having periods at that time, she was clad in a simple outfit with very little jewelry and her hair were already open.

i agree seems like both karna and pandavs will be highly whitewashed in this track.not sure how much i will enjoy this whitewashed version of vastraharan.let see

all i want is that they should give Drauapdi her credit in this track. She is the hero and heroine of this track and that should be depicted i don't want Drauapdi's dialogues to be distributed to other's.She is the one who questions her husbands and elder's not any one else. Its actually her monologue .Hope at least that remains the same.

I think, I read a post by Urmila11 and RamkiJanaki and they defend Yudhi action with quotes. He knew about this and did not want to play but was compelled due to a warped sense of Dharma as he was ordered by Dhrit and did not want to insult.

Staking was terrible but still he never expected that Draupadi will be insulted like this.

U r right...Karna was an insulted soul...But I think he took his "insult" by Draupadi a little too seriously...
Although I respect Karna a lot, I cannot accept the fact that he stooped low on that day, n supported such a horrible thing...

@agree with amritat here i am karna fan as well but where he was wrong he was wrong

Whatever was his reason to participate in Drauapdi's disgrace it was wrong no reason can justify it

In this particular incident karan was wrong no doubt i wish Cv's would have shown his character like this but in any case that's not going to happen
