I think alongside Yudishtar it was only Karna who was more truthful in life.. this was his only lie in his life.. and u know he was so innocent to maintain that he got caught.. he lied but he did not know how to cheat 🤢

well will love to correct myself...he actualy was a kshatriya but was not aware of that due to the silly mistake of kunti

he tried his best by right means only , when he was rejected by each and every teacher because of his caste he had no option except lieing , telling a lie is not right but a harmless lie is not a sin , and atleast his lie did no harm to parshuram and what would he do without lying? he won't get lessons to be warrior (he was anyway not a born genius as Ekalavya that he will be excell in archery without a teacher) so what could he do?Parashuram also surely had rejected him and if not how would karna know that after being rejected by every single teacher?

In today's Krishna Arjun dialogue, Krishna said..

Singh to bahut kuch chod deta hain pashuon ke liye. Kya Ye parmartha se bhari buddhi hi dharma ka aadhaar ahi hain ? . Jara sochiye.

How are these 2 sentences related and how are they relevant to swayamvara , especially first one ?

BRC too veered a lot away from the epic and what was most irritating was artificially inserting 20th century idealogues into the speeches of the characters.

What was good about BRC was the Gita-upadesha. It was covered very well.

As far as I understand, Karna was given basic archery lessons by Drona. Only when Drona refused to give him bramhastra, he went to Parshuram.

Also divyastra knowledge is not possible without a teacher so eklavya still had to receive it from real teacher and not a statue.

Exactly! Divine weapons can't be attained from a statue.
