We are dedicating a special thread for Draupadi Swayamvar.

All the topics related with this event should be discussed here only. Any sperate topic made to discuss Swayamvar related matter will be merged in this thread.

All the events like situations before, during & after the Swayamvar, events, people related to them should be discussed in this thread only.

i think so

Brahmins are considered high class caste.higher than Kshtraiyas i think.Hence marriage between a Brahmin and Kshatriya is considered ok as per norms of the society

For swyamabar i think if a Brahmin has been invited he can

For Draupadi's swyamabr arjun went to pick up the bow once all kshatriya's failed to win

I don't think the actual swayamvar track will begin this week.. I believe it will be next week with first three days for entries meetings greetings rules and discussions etc, Thrusday for Karna and Friday for Arjuna.. week might end with Arjun hitting the target or will freeze with the aiming..

Regarding Swayamvar I have question.. I have read two variants of Karna's participation here

1. One says..when Karna comes to hit at the aim Draupadi stops him telling he is a suth-putra which was influenced by Krishna to Draupadi who knows if Karna tries to hit he will hit straight at the aim and he wanted to prevent Draupadi marrying Karna

2. The other variant says that Karna goes and hits at the aim missing by just one inch.

Which one of these is right, does he really participates or not?

I think there will atleast a week of draupadi-arjun romance in temple probably in gardens markets as well😆

phir kahi jakar swayamvar shuru hoga.

till then im relying on WU's.

And this I think is closer to the epic too. I remember reading that Karna looked at the Sun when asked about his kula. Also shooting arrow in a palace with a roof would look weird.
