Shakuni hated the kuru vansh because his sister Gandhari had to marry a blind king..Gandhari was a true beauty and Dhritrastra was not her equal as per Shakuni...
for that he wanted to destroy the whole kuruvansh and yes he was Krishna Devotee, he was actually in the favor of Pandavs, and wanted to destroy the kauravs
I heard it from my uncle, I don't know if this story exist in the Original Mahabharat or not :)

I know that Shakuni was a devotee of lord Krishna. However, I'm clueless regarding his true feelings for the Pandavas.

Hi. The story is like shakuni's brothers were killed by Dury and shakuni's wanted to take revenge for his brothers death. So he acted to be good to Duryodhan. And destroyed them. I do not know if this is true but my mom told me this.

Shakuni was no devotee of Krishna. A true devotee of Krishna would never harbour so much hatred in their heart to the extent he has his sister's children all murdered in the battlefield.

Shakuni was an evil man who destroyed the Kuru Vansh. There was no favouritism towards the Pandavs. He was evil! End of!

The story of Shakuni being a Krishna devotee are stories which people make up as the years go on (like stories of Draupadi loving Karna).

I bet the CVs will make this story up in the end.

I think they are folk tales like people who make up stories around Mahabharat.
