Chapter 1
It had been two hours, they were travelling and finally they reached to the village Motihari, RK was fast asleep when suddenly he felt a jerk and heard a girl's shout... He opened his eyes and found they were in the village, he looked at Bittuji. "We reached?" He asked as he thought they reached when suddenly his eyes fall on the front direction and saw a girl gets up, he realised the driver may be hit her, he quickly gets down from the car when Bittuji followed him. RK goes to the girl and asked, "Are.. Are you fine??" She hide her face behind her dupatta and nodded when RK saw few books were lying on the ground, he was about to pick them when she hurriedly picked them and was going to leave when her dupatta stuck in something and it slipped from her head, she looked back at RK nervously and tried to free her dupatta but as she was doing it in hurry so she couldn't able to free herself, RK stared at her few times and after few times, he proceed to her and gently free it saying, "Something we need to do things carefully." The girl looked at him, RK looked at her, he was so lost in her deep eyes, she was perfect epitome of beauty, RK never felt this type of attraction before. "Madhu..!!" He heard someone calling and that broke his trance, he looked at her when she hurriedly left from there, RK felt strange in her behaviour. "Chief...??" As Bittuji called him, he erase his thoughts and left from there.
Madhu reached at house and directly went to her room, she gulped two glass of water and sweating profusely. "Superstar RK..!!" Her heart was beating so fast against her chest. "He was RK.." She recalled the moments when he helped her, "But why am I so happy? It wasn't that I like him. Then I am feeling different? Why did I lost in him when he looked at me? No Madhu. You can't forget the reality. He is a superstar and you.. You are nothing but a bad omen for everyone, you v can't keep anyone happy. I should forget the moment, I have to do it." As she thought, tears rolled out from her eyes but hearing Trishna's voice, she quickly wiped them. "Didu?" Trishna ran to her and back hugged her asking, "You are alright? Maa told me, you directly went to your room after coming." She asked worried. "No I am fine. Don't worry about me..!!" "Sure..?" Madhu nodded happily. "Achha.. You know Superstar RK is coming to our village for his shooting." Madhu nodded and muttered, "Yes. I met." "What?? Seriously?? Really?? You met?" Trisha asked in disbelief. "Yes. His car was about to hit me." She said. "Didu..!! Do you have any idea, what you have achieve?? You met superstar RK.. Didu.. Tell me na how is she looking in real? Did you talk with him? What he said? Oh my god..!! Oh my god.. You met him." Trisha had gone crazy hearing her, she jumped in excitement, meanwhile Madhu lost in her thoughts that how she met him. "Didu..!! Where you lost? Tell me na." Madhu looked at her saying, "Trishu.. I didn't talk with him." Trishna made face saying, "Oh yeah..!! How can I forgot you don't like him..!! But never mind, I will get every information about him that where he will shoot, I will meet him. I don't want to miss the chance." Madhu smiled seeing her craziness.
RK was on his way to the apartment, his mind was captured by Madhu, the way she turned at him and her angelic big doe eyes. His heart skipped beating, everything stopped around him when she looked at him. RK smiled realizing he is in love. "Madhu.." He whispered her name which was audible to Bittuji, he too smiled seeing his chief's changing behaviour. "I will get every information about her, chief." RK looked shock but seeing Bittuji's smiled he looked away embarrassed and smiled.
Next day, as usual RK went to the shooting spot, he was busy in his shoot. Otherwise Madhu was sitting alone in the room when Trishna ran to her in excitement, "Didu.. I got every information about him, let's go and meet with him." Trishna almost dragged her. "No. Trishu..!! I don't want to go. You go alone." "Oh please Didu.. You know, I never go anywhere without you so please come." Trishna dragged her and unwillingly Madhu was going to leave when Damini came and saw them leaving so she asked, "Where are you leaving?" "Chachi.. See..!! Trishna.." Madhu was going to say when Trishna tightened her grip on Madhu's wrist saying, "Maa we are going to market." "Market? Why?" She asked sarcastically. "Ugh.. Umm..!!" As Trisha stammered Damini said, "No answer?? It means you are lying. Trishna you are not going anywhere." She strictly said. "Maa please.. Today RK.." But she stopped as looked at her mother as she herself spill the bean. "RK? Oh so you are going at the shooting spot. Right? And Madhu.. You also?" Damini asked in disbelief as she knew Madhu never liked him. "No chachi.. Trishu dragged.." But Madhu paused seeing Trishna's deadly glare at her. "Whatever..!! You both are not going anywhere. We will go for a function. Get ready fast." Damini said. "Function??" Trishna asked. "Yes. We are going to a baby shower function." Hearing this Madhu's face dropped which Damini noticed, "Madhu you are also going." "No. Chachi..!! I am fine at home." She tried to avoid. "No. I don't want to listen anything. Get ready fast." She took leave.
Madhu walked in the function along with her family. Everyone praised Madhu's beauty, she was looking happy. "Wow..!! Didu.. You stole everyone's attention." Trisha teased her when Madhu hit on her stomach with her elbow saying, "Shut up..!!" Soon the function started, the ladies gave blessings to the girl when the girl's mother said, "Arey Madhu.. Why are you standing there? Come..!!" Madhu looked around and looked at her mother who gave her assuring smile. Madhu smiled and proceed to the girl when she heard some ladies whispering, "Isn't the same girl.." "Oh..!! She is.." Madhu's feet automatically stopped at the place, she got nervous when she again heard the lady asking, "Madhu..? Come." She looked around and found the ladies were gossiping, she walked, taking small steps when one of the lady said, "Arey Rekhaji.. What are you doing? You should take care of your daughter and your grandchild." "What do you mean?" The lady asked confuse, meanwhile Madhu too stopped at her place, she knew what can come next and thinking so tears rolled out from her eyes. "Don't you know she is a bad omen." "Aunty please you can't say anything about my didu." Trisha protested. "What am I saying? I am saying.. What is truth and the truth is Madhu is a barren woman, she can't give birth. I know it very well as I live near to her house and if you don't believe me then her family is present here, you can ask them. See..!! It's a good day today and its very auspicious and big ritual to make the baby shower and there should be no bad luck. Now you decide Rekhaji because of she brings bad luck in your daughter's life, you will blame Madhu later." Madhu cried and after couldn't taking it anymore she ran away from there, he family especially Trisha was going to follow her but Padmini said, "Let her go Trishna. Lets go home."
RK was relaxing at his shooting place, they were shooting near to a river. "Chief.." Bittuji excitedly took a sit beside him, but RK didn't pay much attention on him as he was very much engrossed in his script. "Chief.. Her name is Madhubala Malik." That really took his attention, he curiously looked at her when Bittuji said, "She is living in this village with her family, she has a sister." "I am not interested in her sister Bittuji." RK rolled his eyes. "Ugh.. Chief I don't have much information about her because she didn't interact much with villagers. But I have her address so if you want we can.." Bittuji was continuously saying when Rk's eyes fall on somewhere, he saw a girl was standing near to the river, as she was facing her back so he couldn't see her face.
Madhu was standing near to the river, tears weren't stopping, she looked at her flow of the river and recalled her bitter full past. One year back, Madhu and her fiance Sultan were going for a drive where they met with an accident and Madhu's womb hurt badly and right there, doctor declared she can't be mother though she has chance to conceive but its only 5%, hearing this Sultan broke his relation with her and after that no one accepted her. Madhu cried vigorously, she recalled how badly she always insulted by others, how badly balraj behave with her, she had no hope from her life, Madhu looked once at the river and without thinking anymore she jumped.
There, Rk's full attention was on her and when he saw her jumping, he pushed Bittuji and ran towards the river. He saw her getting drown into the river and seeing her face, he couldn't stop himself and jumped to save her. Meanwhile Madhu was struggling there as the water depth was enough to get drown, she struggled to breathe and finally fainted when RK held her hand and pulled her, he lifted her in his arms and came up, meanwhile Bittuji and the full unit went there. RK made her lay on the ground and pressed her stomach so that she could vomit the water, he rubbed her palm and feel abruptly. "Madhu.. Madhu open your eyes..!!" He patted on her cheek worried. "Bittuji.. Call the doctor.. Madhu.." He rubbed her palm when he saw her opening her eyes, RK sighed in relief. "Madhu..? Thank god, you are fine." "Chief, I should call a doctor." RK nodded and looked at Madhu. He gently picked her in his arms and went to his vanity.
RK made her lay on the sofa when doctor checked her, "Don't worry Mr RK. She is fine. She is sleeping now. Let her sleep few hours." RK smiled with a nod, doctor took leave when RK looked at Madhu, she was looking so innocent, he sat near to her and kept staring at her. About two hours passed, Madhu slowly opened her eyes and looked around when her eyes fall on RK who was talking with someone, seeing her awake he excused. "Feeling good..??" He asked but she didn't bother to answer when he yelled, "Have you gone mad? Do you know what you had done?" Madhu looked away and tears escaped from her eyes. "I am talking with you damn it..!!" "It's my life, I can do anything." "NO..!! You can't do anything." Madhu looked at him shock when he realized what he said, "I.. I mean.. You have family. Do you ever think about them? Suicide is not a solution of every problem. You should face them." Madhu chuckled saying, "You don't know anything that's why it seems easy for you. Anyways..!! Thank you. I should leave now." Madhu sat back on sofa and was going to leave when he said, "Wait..!! I will drop you." "No. It's okay. I can manage." She said neglecting him. "No. I can't take any risk. Who knows you again can do such stupid thing. I will drop you safely." Madhu looked away and they took leave.
