Read the last three chapters in one go.
Oh God! Both these bros r in so much pain. It's hurting to see them like this.I know right. There are extremely tormented souls...Maya wants meera to blame her. But don't know if she is fully out of her guilt.Yes, she wants someone to blame her. And she knew Meera can do that but Meera doesn't think she is to be blamed. Yes... guilt is there. It's very much there.Love this guy Viraj, it looks like he has at last accepted defeat n is leaving for good.He is broken and leaving because he thinks Meera doesn't need him at all... and he is only giving her more stress than peace. He loves her a lot.Rishaan is missing!Yes.Rudr has to face his bro n break the wall bw them. Maybe Rishaan was waiting for that. When Rudra did not make an attempt to meet him, he too accepted defeat n left. Does he still think Rudra is still blaming him for whatever happened in the past. I hope it's not like that.Maybe... there is a lot of history... pain... and a thick invisible wall between these two. Let's see what happens. All the proofs to nail shaurya r out. Bittuji atlast got the clue to nab the bodyguard. They don't even need Maya to come into the picture. That's a relief.Yes, they have got what they needed. Now, who is this Arpita n her connection to the Kapoor bros. She is an important person in their life and she has history with the brothers. Rest you will find later. The story is getting more n more interesting.I am glad you feel so.Great updates! Thanks for the PM.

Res for chapter 30

The new found trust and closeness between Maya and Meera is commendable, for their own good. In one hand, Maya had the courage to face Rudra and Rishaan's complicated 'brotherly tie', but at the end she was shocked to find what Rudra had been asking her not to delve in; Meera, on the other hand did not have the courage, may be because she has seen these two brothers long enough to respect their eccentricities 😛...but they need each other for support and hope...they do not need to be BFF for that, but this assurance of having a confidante by the side is enough to make through this difficult time...
Maya deals with the brothers with an authority... She is capable of arguing with them on an equal footing as they do not intimidate her. Her equation is very different with the brothers from the equation Meera shares with the brothers. Meera is after all an employee. She cannot go yelling at them ... or barging in their rooms demanding them to talk to her. This is something that she at times may want to do.. but she can never do that. So, she kind of liked it that Maya did that on her behalf.
But there is a slight difference in the way they are perceiving the situation...it is subtle...or may be my imagination in overdrive mode 😆 ...Meera thinks Rudra is 'indifferent' to Rishaan's plight...I guess that is a strong word to be used for Rudra's lack of responsiveness for Rishaan...Maya did not perceive it as indifference...she feels there is something very dark holding him back, but at least it is not indifference...
See... Meera talked about the events that took place in the second chapter of the story where Meera and Rudra were introduced. She had gone to meet him to ask him to help look for Rishaan and he had insulted her, mercilessly and told her specifically that she should not treat his brother like a lost puppy... he is a grown man who just wants to be alone. He will come back when he wants to. And that is exactly what happened. She wanted Maya to believe... or rather... she wanted herself that this time also... Rudra maybe was right. Maybe he may seem "uncaring" ... but he knows what he is doing.Maya, however, did not buy it for a second. She could not console herself or her by staying in denial. And she understood that Rudra is not just being wise ... or uncaring at the surface... there is something else that is forcing him to distance himself and others from Rishaan... she could not get the reason behind his actions and that made her frustrated but she refused to believe that Rudra doesn't know deep down that he is wrong ... that Rishaan is in trauma and that he needs people who love him to be with him.
And then their conversation flows into two very critical matter: first, Meera's supposedly unfaltering faith on Rishaan's ability to come back from his recluse self, which she tries to convey to Maya, but fails miserably as she too realises that this is not the same...Rishaan is in huge pain and agony, and he needs to be reached out even if he refuses to...
Yes. Meera wants to be optimistic... but Maya is just being realistic.
And the second, Maya's revelation to Meera about her past with Shaurya, and her plead for atonement in the form of being held responsible for the current predicament..
She told her because she knew only Meera can blame her at this moment... for Rishaan's condition. But Meera didn't..
And then the best of their conversation comes...when Meera tries to make Maya realise why Rishaan did what he did for Maya...to at least acknowledge what she really means to him...isn't it ironic that the same acknowledgement for Viraj's feeling for her would be the least Meera can do for him?
I am so happy you said that. I felt it too when I wrote it. It is ironic, isn't it? Easier said than done, maybe. But again... she has been trying to handle Viraj's situation for a long time and he is always very vocal and open about his feelings for her. Rishaan, on the other hand... well.. he never said anything... much like Meera... so at that moment... she was talking not only about Rishaan but herself too... but yeah... should have thought of Viraj too.. I am glad you picked on it as these characters are not perfect one bit.. there are details like these that make them flawed... humane..
Finding the Bijoy Chatterjee link to this whole heinous Shaurya history by Bittuji was worthy of applause...it was another form of atonement he sought for his failings in protecting his beloved Chief and Bhabi..But I must say that it was really very fortunate that he came forward to accept his share of crime and provide evidences of Shaurya's deeds...without this link, Rudra would still not be anywhere closer to the required evidences...
Bijoy was scared for his family and he was ready to turn himself in... it was time. And even if he wasn't ready... Rudra would have made him confess by hook or by crook... Bijoy knew that... he can read that much... so he chose the easy path .. a path where at least his family would be safe.
Meera had to force Viraj to come to terms with the situation by leaving...it was tremendously sad, for both of them, but I guess that was the best that could be done in this situation..
Yes... it was a hopeless situation... heart were going to break either way... she did what she could do... but... oh well.. 😆
Arpita again enters Rudra-Rishaan's life, with her baggage of the old dark painful memories which have kept these two brothers in a strange painful existence...I would not try to read into it too much, because you said that the secrets would be revealed in the next chapter...so waiting for it to get answers to some of my nagging questions..
You can speculate... but their past is actually very complicated ... and twisted... and as you can expect... dark.. 😆 ... you know I can be sadistic... 😆 .. but yes... Arpita is a very important character... I can say that... her scenes are all very important... and hold a lot of meaning..
I really felt pity for Rudra at the end...all the loose ends of this critical situation are now tied to him...while he managed to get some link to make his case against Shaurya stronger, Rishaan magnified his plight ten-times...Rudra's fear, guilt, anxiety, sense of loss, all these burdens crushed him all over again and he could not make himself run and look out for his brother...Maya, as usual the strongest of all took the decision to search for Rishaan with Meera and I really hope she succeeds in her attempt...and Rudra, who has always been acutely venomous to Arpita, broke down in front of her and sought for a little comfort and assurance through his tears...I said this to JJ... I am telling you this now.. Rudra is a walking talking tragedy... much of his sorrows he brought upon himself..
This was an apt preamble to the ominous chapter you are leading us to 😲 😛 ...I am sure you will make complete justice to the characters and the story itself, even if it is not pleasing to everyone..

Keen to know whats stopping rudra from going after rishaan. Felt really bad for viraj 😭 I can understand maya's frustration towards rudra. But is he not opening up to her because she knows nothing about her past life and so in a true sense, she's not madhu? But rudra loves her doesn't he?
another awsome chapter... Thanku so much for this awsome read..
there's a large untold part of there pasts in this story.. which dictates it's character to their actions..
without knowing them it's keep gonna leave us frustrated n craving for more..:)..N I guess that's exactly your intentions..

Hello, I am an old reader of this story and I had quit it after reading initial episodes of this story as I liked simple reading then & it was way too much for me to digest it all and hold the suspense for long as every character is a mystery in this FF... well now that u have updated many more chapters I felt the urge to read it out of curiosity, I read it all and its much easier to understand things after Rudra & Maya met, Its really different & gripping story moreover it needs the reader to concentrate on every single detail b/c anything can give away the clue for something big. I really appreciate ur work there is not a single loophole that I could find out, every minute detail is so perfectly synchronized with characters...
about characters I would like to say that I understand every character except Rishaan's I don't know but from the beginning I had this sense that he is 'bad news'...I don't know him he is very different person his expressions are very mysterious, I connect with Rudra, Maya, Meera, Viraj but Rishaan is unpredictable, at first I thought he is attracted towards Maya, mesmerized and surprised on her actions and reactions, then it felt like he is being more caring or protective for her, either he is in love or he feels responsible to her, then it felt that he feels her pain, understands her well to know how to get her agreed for anything, either he is in love or he is intelligent enough to figure her out, then comes the blow...she trusts him with herself and he goes on to leave her in dilusion that he did wrong with her when he didn't...why why would he do that...
