He is so complicated and twisted whenever I read him I remember Sultan's character in the beginning, his blue eyes are very disturbing. ..Sultan's character was so much like Rishaan's in the beginning, mysterious, cunning and lack of display of emotions..always in hold of his demeanor, caring yet ignorant...note that I m no fan of sultan & cvs destroyed his character for silly plot line, it just occurred to me that from the very first episode rishaan felt more like sultan and less like rk...and then there is another angle of his character...

ok enough of my rambling now coming to present I think rishaan wants to take everything in, like shaurya's torture has enlightened long lost Aditya in him, he was vulnerable when conscious last time...he can't be RK now b/c its aditya who is fighting with his inner demons now and he wants to do it all alone coz he thinks everybody will leave him to his own like his brother did in past, once again... I felt creepy, angry, sympathy, astonished, hate and grief for him...love remains to be felt only...avoid grammatical mistakes Rishaan was bothering me so much...I am so clueless about him...rudra has hurt him once and he is still getting punished of indifference from his brother...may this riddle solve out soon and Rishaan make it alive till the end of ff... there is more but got to go now...some other time I would like to talk about Meera and Maya...thank u for reading my feedback...all the best for rest of the story...:-)

I feel a little sad now with so much saddness, the turmoil and pain characters go through especially Rudra disturbs me a little, you know that feeling of frustration and helplessness when you are somehow the reason of your own misery but at the same time you can't help it, you just can't get over it or gather the courage to believe that you can overcome it and that afterall not everything is lost and there can be things that can be saved! that step of faith is what it takes to make you save your life and the life of people you love, but that step of faith needs a lot of courage not everyone can take it. As a person I can relate to that and understand it.
Exactly. It takes a lot of courage... much like Rudra, not everyone can do that.
Ok so in this chapter there were many important things about many characters but yes I guess Rudra is the one who has a complicated situation to face because as we discussed it before he is a walking talking tragedy!
Yes he is. Tragedy personified.

I liked all scenes, as usual you give enough space to your characters even the side ones if we can call them this way.

I liked the scene between Meera and Maya, this time Meera was the one to reach to Maya, it's a first I guess, usually Maya takes the first step to talk to Meera, this time it was Meera who tried to initiate a conversation with her. We know how Maya felt after her encounter with Rishaan, but we also know that Maya always pulls a brave face, the two discussed about Rishaan and about Rudra's stance, Maya thinks Rudra is wrong, this time it's different from all the times when Rishaan could come back on his own, now he dearly needs help. They also discussed Maya's guilt, and Meera genuinely thinks Maya is not at fault as it was Rk's decision to go behind Shaurya. There is one thing neverthless that Meera pointed at : the reason for which Rishaan did what he did for Maya, is it only because he is Maya's friend or mentor?!! this is what Maya should ponder over!
Meera was trying to make herself believe actually by talking to Maya ... that Rishaan can come back on his own as Maya was only voicing out things Meera could not say out loud. However, she failed to do so. Meera also pointed out what Maya has been trying to avoid thinking about, even though it hurt Meera herself... it was something she had to say.

Finally Bittuji found interesting clues about what happened in the past that can help Rudra have even more solid proofs against Shaurya. I like the way you described how Bittuji got to Bijoy Chatterjee and also the entire scene with the latter, it was beautifully done, it was like watching some episode of CSI !!! I reiterate I love the attention you give to details but also the logical sequence you follow in describing events, causes and effects. So we get to know that Bijoy was the right hand of Shaurya's dad in charge of cleaning the mess behind him and he cleaned the mess behind Shaurya too till a certain point where he couldn't take it anymore as he knows if Shaurya's dad was no saint, Shaurya on the other hand is a monster and way more dangerous than what his dad ever was, he was mentally unstable and this is what made Bijoy fake his death and hide behind a new identity!! so Shaurya is a monster only, a big freak, yes we got to know that his dad used to give him some C grade treatment but still the guy was prone to become a monster already! I wonder if his dad's behavior with him was the only thing that made of him what he is- though I still think it doesn't justify him at all - or there are some much more serious things that made him reach this state! whatever be the reasons, he can never be condoned, many people had difficult experiences in their childhood but rose to become successful people and overcome their past to create a good future for themselves and their families and be good for society and not a big threat to it!
So now Rudra has enough proofs to destroy Shaurya, he deserves it! what goes around comes around! whatever punishement he gets won't be enough! but still they can get some justice, I liked the fact that here at least Rishbala's culprit will be punished unlike the show where we never had that!!!
This was important for me to show. I wanted to tie that lose end. It was required for the story and the characters to get that closure. Yes, Shaurya was abused by his father but like you said, I also tink it was just a contributing factor to what he became. But that can open a huge debate of nature vs. nurture... so it all boils down to how you perceive it.

I feel for Viraj, so sad I know Meera can't reciprocate his feelings and doesn't want to hurt him but how does that help him, why do some persons always run behind people who give a damn about them and hurt people who can give their everything for them!! indeed this is the irony of life!! I think people should start appreciating what they have and stop running behind what they don't or can never have but yes no one can control their heart but one can at least try and do the right thing! So Viraj will leave unless there is another twist in you tail!
I know ... it is so sad that it is true... and here it is true for both Viraj and Meera. They are kind of in the same boat.

Scene between Arpita and Rudra is the suspense element for me, who is Arpita, I mean what's her relationship with the kapoor brothers, and who is that man Rudra was talking about! why does he hold him in such a pedestral!! why does Rudra hold Arpita responsible for what happened to Rishaan! it seems he also turned his back to his brother, but how and why!! questions and questions I can guess but I'm not sure so will chill and wait for answers, but yes I liked the suspense it made me keep wondering! all I know is that Arpita loves the brothers and what she says about wanting to help Rishaan and that it's not late is logical so obviously I know Rudra is wrong here. But why is he so scared, why can't he believe that it's not too late yet, why can't he at least try! answers I gave them before sometimes even when you are somehow responsible of your own misery you can't easily get over it, the consequences of one single mistake of you makes you wonder whether you won't do a bigger one if you ever try to do something, it paralyses you!!! but we all know it's a wrong stance to take but still some things are easier said than done and we know Rudra is himself in a big trauma since years and he still couldn't get over it

I liked his last scenes with Maya and Arpita, the ladies want to help Rishaan, Maya insists on looking for him, Rudra just gave up or maybe he is just scared! we can feel his pain maybe he wants to believe that something can be done especially when he sees others willing to try hard to help his brother, so maybe that will knock some sense into his brains but most importantly into his heart, he needs to believe that his brother can be saved and that he can do it even if he made mistakes in the past with his brother and feels undeserving now!! the last words of Arpita and his non-verbal response to her gave me hope, I also liked his interaction with Maya, I think these two interactions (with Arpita and Maya) will end up affecting him positively, I feel he will be the one to find his brother!
Maya is frustrated because who wouldn't be in such a situation! And Rudra is ... as Arpita said...in many ways ashamed and scared... not realizing that it is adding more to his remorse.
Waiting for a long faceoff between the brothers where they pour out their hearts to each other. I feel it coming in the next chapter or the one after 😃

meera-aditya flashback scene is so sweet and heart touching...it makes you see how one can fall in love in a single moment and how it can last forever. i love the setting...the empty road and the faint street lights..the calm outside n the struggle inside.

such a contradiction that one wanted adventure and another wanted peace and both were broken in their ways...goes to show how too much of both is bad.

i knew rishaan loves maya...it was obvious...he confessed today for the first time knowing all well that he had to hear n wanted to hear the no. that breaks my heart. he did not even spare himself to be able to live in the bubble that maya has feelings for him. ofcourse by now he has put two n two together n assumed that rudra is rk and maya is madhubala. he pretty much understood from rudra's paintings i presume.

maya had to say to know to him knowing he loves her so much that he almost gave his life just to get her justice!

wat maya doesnt know is that he really gave his life...he died. rishaan died. aadi confessed his love today to free himself of the leftover rishaan.oh so brilliant u girl!

No he doesn't know about reincarnation... it's not an easy and reasonable conclusion to draw... especially for Rishaan who has lived to be RK for quite some time now. But yes... he does know that Rudra is attracted to Maya. He is onto him in that regard.

Rest... you are correct... he cannot even let himself hope... he cannot afford... he does not deserve it...

Viraj is heartbroken to see meera hurt ...the man deserves an award in patience and selfless love ..oh n also humour. amazes me!

oh the scene was so painful...rudra has finally lost rishaan. he didnt realise in all these years. finally rudra has realised. but its too late...his brother is way too far from him in the head. and rudra is left sulking in shame guilt and pain ...ironically if the same amounts that he left aditya with, years ago...today he is broken aftr so many years of avoiding n hide n seek n self pity n shame ..rudra has finally burst open.

i still want him to mend his way to rishaan...they deserve it.

A wonderful update full of emotions, it made me sad too, though I know in real life too we can have only bitter-sweet moments, it can't always be happiness all the way, but yes you feel more peace when you take a decision and you accept your fate. I guess characters in this chapter kind of took a decision at least things were dicussed, no more avoiding to discuss things, obviously the center of this chapter was Rishaan, I loved all his interactions with people, and though I still think that it's not all he will get I mean I know sometimes it's difficult to get over our past, to mend our broken pieces, it's not easy to heal, but I believe he will get better, he can better!

And yes I agree with you this chapter was special, the way it was written, the scenes the interactions were beautiful, maybe because finally all characters led by Rishaan mainly (he is the catalyst) and including him, opened their hearts and finally spoke what they felt sincerely without trying to run away from the truth or hiding or doing any camouflage of their emotions!
I am so happy you think so too. This chapter was so emotionally draining for me that I cannot tell. And it was very special too. True. Rishaan is a catalyst of this story in many ways. He sets things in motion in the lives of all major characters, mostly. You can say that this entire chapter was kind of like his monologue... as close to a monologue as you can get from him.

Scene between Meera and Rishaan in Barcelone was a surprise, the girl who had something close to a perfect life, yet felt miserable, maybe because she never got to take her own decisions, to live something special, maybe because our life can't always be planned we should let some things happen, take some risks, live an adventure, the way Rishaan told her but we shouldn't forget that when we can afford ourselves some adventures from time to time, we can't make of it our life, sometimes people can find peace in the security of the planned life they live! I don't know whether then (7years ago) Rishaan had already lived his tragedy or was he just the same guy who adviced his brother that maybe they are the freaks and not him, maybe Rudra is just special and talented, it doesn't mean that he is a freak! All I know is that here also he was a sweetheart, he brings light wherever he goes, he has this natural capacity of understanding people, he knows how the say the right thing at the right time!! I still wonder what made such a beautiful soul lose hope in life and be so harsh on himself!
It's kind of like ... you cannot have a perfect life. If you plan it and it all goes according to the plan... it becomes mundane soon enough. If nothing goes as planned and it's all unpredictable... even then you would not be happy. Maybe grass is always greener on the other side.

Rishaan has a very deep understanding of things because he has seen it all. He has seen life and people upclose... evolving and de-evolving... he is the intellectual one of the lot I think.

The scene between Maya and Rishaan was nice too, his confession, he doesn't want to hide anything anymore, he said he wanted to set her free and set himself free too! I think he had a small (a very small hope ) that maybe she feels the same for him too, but I guess he was prepared even if still disappointed by her answer, he was prepared to her no too, as even her no would set him free, he would get his answer he won't wonder anymore and also he will see what he feels, finally Rishaan is trying even when his so shattered to have a heart to heart conversation with each important person he has in life, to apologize, say what he feels and leave without any grudge on anyone!! We know Maya didn't want to hurt him, she loves him so much but she isn't in love with him! sad but true, this is life!
That hope kind of comes as a package deal with our feelings, I guess. Even when it is unrequited ... deep deep deep down... you have a hope... that maybe someday they will return your feelings... so even though Rishaan knew Maya doesn't love him and he doesn't deserve to be loved... there was that hope. And he cannot afford that hope because it can, as he said, corrupt him. He might deviate from his path. So, he wanted to hear it from Maya herself.
Meera witnessed their conversation and even though she saw it coming but she always had hope, as they say hope is the last thing one can lose in life! but now she heart from the horse mouth!! he saw her and after he called her and they went for a long drive! I just loved their scene so much! she thought he didn't remember when they first met, how wrong she was! he opened his heart, he said he knew she loved him but he was selfish to keep her with him, he needed to feel loved even when he knew he is maybe hurting her, even when he tried to send her away but never could, he felt humbled and overwhelmed by her love, he told her she is so special but alas even he loves her but isn"t in love with her! heart doesn't choose whom to love! add to that the fact that he feels unworthy of love!!! he thinks neither he is made to love nor to be loved! he thinks these two things were wrong!! the fact, of him opening to her about who he was (Aditya) and what he did to himself by killing his oldself and becoming Rishaan just to see even that new identity destroyed, proves how much she is special to him, usually you would feel more open and have more trust in the person whom you know loves you genuinely and won't judge you, so he talked about that only with Meera! I think Meera herself would have felt happy with that. She knew she won't have his love, she promised to move ahead the way he asked her but she gave him her friendship willignly not out of pity and he accepted it happily too. I loved their dance, her confession and their hug, I think both found some peace finally though I think Rishaan's story won't end here as I don't believe this is all there is for him, for Meera at least that's her bitter -sweet closure, I think now she is much more in peace, she accepted her faith and she will be happy with his friendship and try to move on eventually with Viraj.

I liked the fact that at least made her so happy when he thanked her for the adventure she gave him the way he gave her in the past thus making her understand that yes he remembers her and he was sincere when he said she is special, she can at least be happy for that!!!

Last scene was another nice scene between Rudra and Rishaan, the first open conversation between these two without anyone of them trying to run away from expressing things! Rishaan has took his decision, yes they were leaving under the same roof but they can't anymore hide the fact that there is a huge rift in their relationship, while Rudra still had hope that things might get better, Rishaan wanted to go away from this farce, yes I feel deep inside he knows Rudra loves him but he still couldn't mend his broken pieces, he thinks he might never do it and he took the decision to leave and try to find some peace, but Rudra was shattered, tried to make him stay even used Maya's card but I guess Rishaan already understood the bond between Maya-Rudra and is now leaving the way clean and clear for them to come close, but will Rudra ever be able to live happily without his brother getting better or at least finding some solace in life!! I feel there is still something coming our ways in the next chapter, I think you might focus on Maya-Rudra now but sure Rishaan will come later maybe!!!
No... he doesn't know about reincarnation... Rishaan.. I mean. But yeah... he knows that Rudra is attracted to Maya... he has been observing him. And how desparate was Rudra to use Maya's card to try to stop Rishaan! 😆 ...
