Episode 319 Discussion: 9th July 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

scene 1 RM, Biwi ne ITNA pyara gaana gaaya, how can pati stay angry? maan gaya bechara..may be he thought biwi KL Saigal ke time ke gaane na gaana shuru ho jaaye..

scene 2, RK mansion ..WOW , that was impressive..Anita, I told you Dips is not evil 🤣 all that she wants from Radha is that she mistreats Madhu , become a hunter wali saas ! different vamp our Dips..I'm glad her true character remained intact...Radha refusing her was a bouncer ! and her reasoning was perfect ! RK will go mad looking at his pic. and uska gussa sabko jhelna padega and since Dips is responsible for it, he will not spare her..Dips was thoughtful saas saas hoti hai bahu bahu..

scene 3, rain romance..ala Raj Kapoor Nargis..must say, in dono se zyada toh RK-Nargis bold the ! 🥱 inke bache aankon mein dekhne se honge, i can bet..Mahabharat style..

scene 4, Bhai made a dramatic entry..Radha scared, Dips tried to calm him down..can they EVER make Bhai do something logical? i mean can't he say the lights r off, how can he look for the kangan? and i'll not give him any credit for the successful completion of this task...coz his contribution is zero..sab kuch Radha, Dips, Madhu , Rashid ne kiye..tod fod Bhai ke log karenge..what did he do for Meera?

After a depressing episode yesterday, I grudgingly liked today's episode in parts. I specifically liked Rji not giving in to Dipali's blackmail. I was happy that at least one character did something sensible. Also loved Dipali thrown off track because of this new roop of her MIL. 👏

Theek-thaak:

RK-madhu making up, and RK trying to get madhu wet. Sweet😃. What I did'nt like was the selection of the song, sounded ominous to me. Still feel disconnected from the two of them because we don't know what coming up, and with these two, the more pessimistic the speculation the better it is for our health. 😆

RK mansion:

Sultan arrives quietly to look for his mother's kangan...btw can someone explain why did he turn around and glare with his piercingly blue eyes when DIpali told RK was not at home?? He forgot, his people told him he was on an outdoor shoot?🤣

There is a tussle between Sikky and Dipali, over the MK-Meera photo..cliffhanger...does Sultan see it? SO who is the one who gives the photo to the press??

Breaking news...break bumper has changed to RK-Madhu in blue..the thing is this was used just before the 'unwedding'. So go figure...

We always focus on the leads, or more prominent, obvious characters and forget supporting ones...I felt Shama Deshpande deserved a round of applause today for her portrayal of Radhaji. 👏

Today's episode belonged to Radhaji. But more about that later.

Episode started in a puzzling way. Madhu talked to RK about her love for him. All fine and dandy, but wasn't she ignoring the elephant in the room? That RK is upset with her because she is hiding something re: Sultan from him? Madhu sings, RK poor man is a softie, and can't remain aloof from her for too long, even if she is singing a morbid song. Sweet hugs. RK's cute attempt at romance in the rain, which practical Madhu put the kibosh on. Looks like RK didn't lose hope - notice the wolfish smile on his face as he follows Madhu. Presumably, smart Madhu was headed straight for their room! (On further reflection, maybe that was her idea all along- distract the man 😉)

Dips - aha, so all she wanted was that teensy weensy thing - respect!! The worm has turned, and she wants Madhu to be treated badly now. Radhaji wailing - et tu, Dips? Dips threatens Radhaji with disgrace, so Radhaji acquiesces initially, after all Dips holds the ace, or rather the photo. And then when Dips pushes her luck too far, the moment of the day arrives - Radhaji outright refuses to give in to Dips. The shock on Dips' face was awesome to behold. Atta girl Radhaji - NICE job!

Sultan comes in. Deva Deva! (Actually, they didn't have that particular BG, but still, couldn't help myself.) Seeking his mother's kangan, in the dark (perhaps I'm being too mean here, maybe he expected a superstar's house to have an inverter/generator going.) Radhaji looked a little alarmed at the mention of the kangan. What does she know? BTW, couldn't figure out why Dips did a volte-face, and was being gracious to Sultan. Did she think she could somehow use him in her machinations? Sikky in his naive way manages to make Dips drop the photo. Oops. Everyone freezes. Is Sultan going to see it? Do you want to take a bet?

The precap: Madhu, you really should have told him earlier. Now look what happened?

all of that, plus biwi acting all sad and depressed on their honeymoon, wants hubby to work n not spend time with her, worry for ghar and ma more than pati, spoil his mood by talking abt Sultan, not completing the story confusing him more, manofy him with an antique song n ab baarish mein bhi nahi bheegna 🥱 her 5 mins lecture on love , what was that 😕 keep is short and simple.."i love you"...no wonder only ppl. like Bhai can her their love guru ..rest will doze off with her gyan...

@Soundarya, i agree, Shama Deshpande and Radha , both deserve a round of applause 😎 Radha is truly RK's mother...Dips mein bhi koi dum kham nahi hai ..of all the things, she asked Radha to mistreat Madhu 😆 what was she thinking? will RK let that happen?

First i am very happy that they removed bhai from montage n rishbala montage is back... uhhaahahahhahaha

That song n manofying are not really impressive... it was watchable because of rishbala... but seriously such kind of love confession didnt suit the situation... but i loved the rain romnce... Bolo mere nargis wala dialogue

Loved radhaji... i always admired shama deshpande Acting since her entry in the show... i always loved the ma-beta relationship betwen rk n radha. i mean their scenes... they look so realistic...
Today she again proved that woh rk ki ma hai 👏

hate dips... she is so cheap 🥱 ... not watched sullu scene...

Additional random thoughts:

I thought Radhaji's behavior was even more intriguing, because she initially (ostensibly) acquiesced, probably thinking she is going to buy herself some time to regroup and marshall her forces. Of course, Dips was one step ahead of her, but still..

BTW, whats with all these unlikeliest of characters feeling slighted and demanding respect - first Sultan (although he claims its for his mother), then Dips?

Shama Deshpande was awesome today. But I also noticed that VD was also really quite good - if you looked at the expressions during the song, and after during the rain scene.

And finally, the Colors Youtube episode showed the 'Madhu in the center flanked by RK and Sultan' montage at the beginning.

Finally cvs gave up on their disastrous attempt of making some aira gaira parallel lead and TRP slapped them so hard that they went back to happy rishabala montage

RK MADHU romance was actually not up to the mark. I laughed out loud when madhu was singing that song. She waslike some dukhi bhatakti aatma Wala song. Madhu is seriously irrelevant in her bhashan and her romantic dialogues too I couldn't see her point, what was she saying?? Why talk about studio Wala night, or is it cvs reminding the fans that we did give u many enjoyable episodes?...😃

The rain sequence was nice, though I wish rk took off that jacket he was wearing and 😉 mmm never mind

RADHAJI was wonderful and finally gave it back to Dips,

DIPS I liked her today, she was sooo in her Charecter, she doesn't intend to strike a fatal blow to RK, Her target is always madhu, she is sensible enough to see Radhaji point, where madhu failed to see her Point, as far as they go RK should be their concern and not sympathize with anyone else. Nothing could be done to set things right, meera being recognized as MK wife does no good to her

So hopefully it is sulthan who releases the photo to press, i wouldnt like it if dipali does that, as she will gain nothing from it,,,,,,,and the rest follows

I am wishing see some sensible episodes here after

radhaji opposing dips 👏

what i didn't like:

rishbala song 🤢 🤣

rain dance which actually didn't happen!😡 (madhu's opposition looked forced 🤢)

sultan looked as if he was drugged n dizzy !

deepali's dialogue was dragged n dragged! and obviously the deal made no sense at all!! 😡

whole episode i was like ,"kitna lamba episode hai? khatam hi nahi ho raha??"

There is no question that I love Rishbala despite the unwedding, the disgusting bhai-Madhu eyelocks, main pagal hoon speeches..

But today even though Rishbaa looked awesome together, I was not impressed.. Madhu's dialogue of wanting to live with RK..😕 And Who doubted her ever? We all know tat both are strongly attracted to each other.. And love each other to no end..

In my eyes her dialogue didnt make sense in today's context as all it says is tat I m hopelessly attracted to you, but still when it comes to a criminal attacking you I ned to see his viewpoint as well.. Look how sad he is, how sick his mom is, she has been wronged,, blah, blah..

RK is rightfully upset, and is not in a mood to give in. I feel for him, what crap he has to go through on his honeymoon..

So finally, the CVs make her sing a song with a haunted background.. Loved RK's emotions.. And Madhu's emotions were good as well but not in the context of why her husband is mad at her..

All is well as RK melts with her tears...

even though I am upset with Madhu, the rain sequence was beautiful.. Both of them are happy.. And that umbrella pose was beautiful.. I wish they can minimize interruptions..

Loved Radhaji today.. Not only a spine, this woman also seemed to grow a brain overnite..I hope a miracle happens with RK's wife as a well..

Dips was plain stupid in her deal...looks like bhai left his brain cels in their room... 😆
