So what should have RK done that would have made you and other people realize that he really loves Madhu and he has redeemed himself? Please answer! I will read what you wrote, tomorrow morning. Till then good night!
Then I will admit that I gave these CVs too much credit, and they are just another bunch of writers and a PH that portray jackass love stories.Maybe I'll watch Sultan's scenes, while RK and Madhu can be happy and in "love."

Well "IF" RK is lying then I would also want Madhu to leave along with 80% of the viewers. It would be torture to all of us.
But I don't think RK is lying. He might be teasing her.

I considered this too. But then this leaves very little story to be told. Because RK will have in essence been redeemed (whatever that means lol). What else then? They're going to stretch this show for all its worth, and redeeming RK (this early in the game) is not a part of it. They'd be shooting themselves in the foot. Him, Sultan, Madhu, they are all intertwined now. And redeeming RK would cut the story short and maybe even give it a different ending.
I do question RK's heartbreak when he found Sultan in Madhu's room. I had expected a quick forgiveness scene between him and Madhu, wherein he was clearly manipulating her. But they went a different route. If his pain was genuine then they might redeem him much later on. His character does have its worth. A lot hinges on keeping him as is.
RK will probably the same until they absolutely have to show change. Four things could happen I think: (1) He'll either slowly get darker and darker, until he looses himself fully in the darkness, (2) He genuinly tries to get "better", but fails every now and then. He might then die in some heroic attempt to save someone maybe. Basically redeeming himself in death, (3) Slowly redeeming himself. I find this least likely, because like I said, it changes his character mold. RK has no empathy. (4) They redeem him in a blast. Like if he lost his memory or something. The whole nature or nurture thing.
Idk if this is my bias or what else. I just have a very hard time seeing a 'good' RK. Because I don't think he's capable. And I don't think either he or the writers want it. I guess it depends on whether any of those things every change.
aand that concludes my essay lol

For one thing. Stop treating Madhu as a possession. When he does that, then perhaps we can talk about redemption.
Looking at the argument Im so sure now that rk fans are PG-13 phans and sultan phans are rated R audience as in adults who look for more in their man than Just looks. I've yet to watch todays epi where ill fwd the wedding drama and watch sultans story đ
