Don't worry, Abby. I am going to write a short one which gets to the point as a Main Topic. But I have one specifically in mind for this topic too.

I can't wait. 😆

Question to your answer...simple...SHE'S MARRIED...I really don't see a high possibility of an Indian tv show showing that a married woman cheats on her husband. They are supposed to be role models. But I won't stop you from dreaming. 😊

What shining role models. What shining examples! Wah, Wah. Man tells woman to jump from a building. Role Model! Woman actually does jump! Role Model!

Man humiliates and puts down woman often and constantly. Role Model. Man treats woman first as an object, then as a possession. Role Model. Man declares a fresh new start in front of public, but then apparantly he was lying. Role Model.

What role models?

And umm, before the obvious reply will pop up, let me just point out that we are not the ones who are brought up role models here.😆

Well I don't really watch tv shows for life lessons but isn't that why they show the heroine as flawless and perfect? But I highly doubt that they will show that Madhu will leave RK. But if there is supposed to be a message. Then I think it would be that forgive, forget, and move on. Give people second chances. I believe that Madhu really changed RK. The man who once said that she wasn't good enough for him is now wrapped around her finger.

And...if he hasn't changed? if he was lying and not being truthful? If that whole public drama was just for the sake of...public drama? Then?

If...Then...then what? We all go back to watching the show and coming back to forum complaining and ripping out each there's throats haha! 😆 Personally, I really wouldn't care...this is the only Indian show I watch so eh whatever.

Note: You said "If". Predictions, huh? 😆

Forgive and forget your abuser? I'm not going to say that's impossible. Some claim (depending on the nature of abuse) couple's therapy combined with the abuser's honest remorse and willingness (and capability) to change might do the trick. But RK still lies. So this becomes a moot point.

@ 1st Bold: I believe she has given him that on a number of occasions. A proper role model would be shown growing and moving on (even if it means moving on) without him. He has his mommy. She'll heat up his baby bottles for him.

@ 2nd Bold: A person's strength (no matter the gender) lies in their intelligence. Not in their ability to manipulate the opposite sex to get their own way. She's not a child to be wrapping someone around her finger and be applauded for it. She's an adult. To get her way, she merely needs to show some independence and work towards it. This is not the 1700's. Woman are allowed to vote and own property. She does not need to be manipulating a man to get what she wants. She is both physically and mentally capable of acting on her own. God, what am I even talking about now? I've suffered a mild concussion while reading this.

PS: I'm so sorry if I came across rude. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just a little incredulous. I can't believe that this show is sending out messages like this. All this hum hain deewane needs to bloody well stop.
