Another beautiful episode...
Just a couple of comments...
1)I might be prejudiced but I feel that there was significant difference between RK's and Madhu's revenge...RK plotted against his prey with fair warning...Madhu plotted against her beloved without giving him an inkling of her feelings. RK plotted alone and controlled collateral damage to families to the best of his abilities...In fact Maliks hated him and he tried his best to do something good for them and none of this was targeted at winning Madhu's heart. In some way he was compensating them for the hurt he planned on inflicting on them. Madhu on the other hand was unmindful of collateral...she involved Sultan and intended on hurting Radha and Bittuji who idolized her. RK was always very honest about the fact that he was a devil while Madhu plotted under the guise of holier than thou attitude. RK never used his life or hers as stepping stone (just as Shri mentioned) but Madhu did. This does not mean that RK gets exonerated from his act just that the downfall from expectations was significantly more in case of Madhu than RK. Here is the big question if Radha/Bittuji were to find out what Madhu had been upto...how would they feel?
I however do not hold Madhu solely responsible for the revenge plan ...I think she was immensely angry and frustated with RK's unreasonable possesiveness trying find a way to vent out her emotions and Paddy/Trishna fed fuel into her rage encouraging her to go for it under the banner of self righteousness.
2)RK is venting out at this point...he was just dealt blow of a lifetime and he has no time to sort his feelings out...He is expected to make a life altering decision that will impact him, Madhu and Radha in split-second due to practical reasons. He understands that if he lets Madhu go ...she will be gone forever and both of them will be left with broken yearning hearts forever...on the other hand if he marries Madhu, he does not know if he will be ever able to love her like again like he did before. He can't even cry or scream like Madhu did...he is forced to internalize his pain and keep a poker face. He is unable to share his pain even with his family and Bittuji...it will break them...he is alone in this world of pain unlike Madhu who had Trishna and Paddy and sympathy of chawlwasis. From where I stand he is acting inhumanely sane...this will eventally have repercussions when he breaksdown. Regardless of the spoilers, I fail to see how this will be resolved in two episodes...there will be lingering impact of all this on Rishbala's post marital life. It cannot be revenge scenario because RK is no longer in denial of his feelings so I assume it will be back to disconnected RK with poker face while Madhu suffers through his cold behaviour trying to find a way back to into his heart until something changes the equation again. If you think the roles have been reversed...Madhu will be desperate to win RK not unlike what he did in last few episode while Rk will attempt to be distant yet failing at it not unlike Madhu.
3)Madhu is in shock herself...she is unable to understand why Sultan was there and how everything fell apart in a minute but she does understand that RK is hurting very bad and somehow she is responsible for it. She understands that both of them stand at the cusp of loosing everything forever beacuse her foolishness...she does not know how to fix it except calm him down and remind him of her love and sincerity...Her apologies are a way to calm him down and show her sincerity. She must be cursing the day she met Sultan in her mind. I don't think she is even thinking of marraige of how she will be treated after RK marries her...all she wants is RK's forgiveness and love back. I think that for now Madhu will be happy at anything as long as it affords her a chance to win back RK'S love. Will her being heroine be an eventual attempt to be close to her husband and rejuvenate thier love again?
4)Paddy and Dips are expecting the worst from RK...I am wondering how they will react when Rk does the unexpected again.
5) There was a common thread through all the ceremonies...warding of evil eye and keeping the couple safe ...it makes me wonder if they will be placed in mortal danger very soon or that Sultan's mon is actual evil instead of being a victim as everyone keeps expecting. Whatever happened to the unwedding sari and mangalsutra...Is that what will bring RK back emotionally?
6)What a waste of that beautifully decorated room! I hope that Rishbala make some use of it or maybe Sikali can get some millage out of it.
In all I am curious how the story proceeds from here on...
