I see that a lot of people have mixed reactions about yesterday's confrontation! I'd say its a confrontation, a lovers tiff, a misunderstanding between a husband n wife in a complicated situation and there can be no right or wrong there! No judgement can be passed as how could he say that, how could she apologize etc. They both are emotionally overcharged and not thinking at all!

If RK was thinking with his brains, he would realize he created this new Madhu! The questions he was asking Madhu, should have been directed to himself during the unwedding drama! Was he laughing when she fell for him, did he find contentment to see his revenge go through? I'm guessing He didn't either, then why would Madhu who is a lot more gentler n kinder than him do so! What I'm trying to say is lets not take their words at face value!

If Madhu was not Madhu, she would be reminding him then and then there of the above mentioned points and of how broken she was after his betrayal! But Madhu feels n feels his pain and is only thinking of damage control! She's desperate bcoz she fears RK might return to being his old self, thus undoing all their efforts over the past few weeks! She is not thinking that she has not done anything to be blamed, but feeling that her misconstrued plans and her confiding them to a stranger has hurt the one person she loves!
Her venting might make or break them, and I'm sure she is not ready to take the risk of losing him ever again! So she decides to give in, but to his credit he seemed to stop her from further getting desperate! He knows he was in that position at the beginning of this mess, n stopped her timely when she said lets make a new beginning!

If RK was not RK, he would not have the gal to ask her what he did, at the risk of being hypocritical! But he does, he dares to mention the words hate and betrayal for Madhu, accuse of her being like him! But the relief for me was his realization, he should have thought of it as betrayal on her part, he should be hating her for it, but he is caught off guard that he feels neither! So why should his mentioning the words rile us, bcoz he implied he's not feeling either, only expressed that he should be! Thats where there is progress, this new RK knows in his heart that Madhu is not to be blamed n rejected for betraying him, unlike his usual reaction to his mother's perceived betrayal! This is a changed man, who is hurting no doubt, but unforgiving he is not! Just don't expect him to forgive n forget within the space of an hour of the event! That would make him Sultan, not RK! Insult me, use me, get me punched but I'll forgive is Sultan's motto not RK's!

A betrayal is a betrayal is a betrayal. RK also sees Madhu sharing her plan with Sultan as another betrayal.

Also, Deepali ditched him for greener pastures, not for another man. The other man was the greener pasture.

Lovely episode, a wonderful follow-up to yesterday's damdar emotion packed one. And the reviews written by all, even better, I can never attempt to articulate as well as all of you. just wanted to write a few lines about what I felt watching the episode, and I waited till today morning to see if the feeling would pass before I types them down, they did not , they still linger and hence the post...

whatever may happen today, and we know from spoilers that the wedding will most probably go through, which we all were so reverently hoping for, for so long, but I had a sad feeling after seeing yesterday's episode... sad cause madhu has due to her own foolishness, lost her upper hand in this relationship. RK would have crossed all proverbial aag ka darya and given her the kind of love she deserves and desires, but now, even if complete love were to come back in this relationship, the halo of love is lost. Before this fiasco, Madhu had a guarantee with her that Rk due to his guilt of hurting her would never hurt her again, would always love her; she has lost that guarantee card. Now since both of them are on an equal footing of sorts, both are free to throw any salvos if situations turn dark. Agree that RK did deserve to feel the hurt, but if MAdhu had been a little more quick in confession her prem game to Rk directly she could have put it as a hypothetical question to RK, the intelligent person that he is would have understood and the requisite realization would have been felt.

I guess I am also feeling the same sadness of what is lost and uncertainty of how and when and the big IF it shall complete come back that compelled me to write this pots.

I hope I made sense

PS: I can't wait to see how RK will again " propose" to her i.e. say the marriage will go through...after all madhu still looked confused as to what he intends to do in the promos; and how will he react/behave after the 4th Phera

Isn't it a good thing that both are on equal footing now? Why should any one of them have an upper hand in the relationship? RK and Madhu are both grey and ruthless in their own ways. It is important that they be on equal footing else they are quite capable of breaking each other.

Yes, Madhu should have confessed about her plan earlier - to be truthful towards their relationship, not to keep an upper hand.

And that is where the un-wedding sari and mangalsutra will come in I guess.

I feel RK wasn't wrong in asking Madhu if she ever planned on telling him. Because, you can tell that once Madhu gave up on her plan she totally forgot about it. She only recalled it when RK made that comment on starting their new life with no lies, no secrets. I wonder had RK not said that, would she have felt the need to reveal all to him? And even after this, she asked Sultan "I should tell him all this, hai na?" She was asking him if she should, not telling she will. But once her monologue to Sultan was done she decided she will tell him all.

It could be accidental on part of CVs, but there were no indications to make me think that Madhu planned on telling RK the truth before he spoke to her. So her line in this episode, that she didn't because she feared to lose him falls flat. And RK's question for me seems justified.

agreed, but knowing how RK is sometimes incapable of seeing the big picture or byeond his personal feeling, its like sometime you have to deal with a child in a dipolmatic or different manner or use reverse psycology, that it would have been better if madhu had the upper hand to explaning it to RK in a her own way and with words which would not hurt RK's ego or make him understand without him feeling betrayed

agree 100%, should have told him right when she said she cannot hurt him and has comeback to him 100%

The wedding is in a couple of hours, all the poojas and ceremonies have been done and only pheras are left. Was she planning to tell him just before entering the mandap? How is a man supposed to take such a revelation just before his wedding?

dun know whether this is plot clunk or deliberate on the part of the CV's that all this while, it didn't occur to Madhu that she should tell RK abt her intentions and her change of heart...she was not looking for the "right" moment either...2-3 hours before the marriage, it occured to her that she should tell him the truth so what did she think, how will he react ? imagine if there was no Sultan and Madhu confided in RK, was this the right time? all the pooja ceremonies were completed, his family repo, his izzat, his emotions and his mother's feelings were at stake, they were just about to get married ..what if he decided to cancel the wedding then?? did she have the heart to hear his answer? what if he said no?? telling him at this point was more like blackmail ..

i know Amritha...he asked her "pyar aur zehar ek saath kaise madhu?" ..while he was taking revenge from her, he was smiling at her stupidity that she's falling in his trap , yet he was falling for her..zindagi aur zehar ek saath kaise, this example was set by RK, not Madhu...
i had to watch the epi. again to grasp that scene and i felt their discussion went off tangent ..was it deliberate? bec. given their past history, which only consists of pain, hurt, humiliation, betrayal and NOT love, trust, care , they shouldn't be discussing this 😆 neither or them is a victim...they know what transpired b/w them, when and how !! yet, this was cleverly written..i cannot pinpoint one case where i can support Madhu...RK precisely pointed out those areas where Madhu erred..
first, she can never explain the presence of Sultan in their room ..if he was there without her knowledge, why was she discussing her love life with him? her using a soft tone with Sultan always irked RK..WHY? why does she do it when she knows that RK hates him? abhi pata chala ke nahi? when he told her that he cud have KILLED him for TALKING to Madhu?? imagine the extent of hatred he has for that one person , yet she refuses to cut ties with him or at least not let him interfere in her personal matters...when will she take RK seriously and set her priorities straight?
next, he just expressed his disappointment & hurt with the fact that Madhu cud think of hurting him to this extent...this was a much needed reality check for him...and he was hurt bec. Madhu didn't tell him before ..which puts all her actions till date, under suspicion...at what stage did Madhu involve Sultan? since when were they plotting against him? how can Madhu make him trust that she had nothing to do with Sultan? did she check her cell after haldi day ? there must be a number of missed calls from Sultan..
may be we should wait for the scene to complete bec. towards the end, he said "mujhe tumse nafrat KARNI CHAHIYE for this dhokha" , he didn't say "mujhe tumse nafrat hai"...he can never hate Madhu , he's not a hypocrite, he will understand he will forgive her 😊

Actually RK is much more mature than Madhu. He is the one who actually sees the bigger picture while Madhu has a tunnel vision especially when it comes to her self-righteousness. When RK accepts a relationship he becomes totally dedicated to it. See how he is quietly taking slaps from Radhaji now after accepting his relationship with her wholeheartedly. It would have been the same with Madhu too if she hadn't been foolish enough to hide her plan from him and on top of that explain it to RK's biggest enemy in his own bedroom.
