I think Padmini is fabulous and I think she's doing exactly what she should do as a mother. I'm a mother, and if someone like RK, who brought my daughter up and tore her down suddenly decided that he loved my daughter yet did nothing to prove/redeem himself, I would be freaking out too. It's called the love of a mother. I just can't believe how many people are getting on her case for that! RK isn't that cute to me (but VD totally is he's doing a totally fabulous job here!)

But then again, as a quiet watcher, I expect nothing less. First Aryan was yelled at for being a kid and calling RK a bad man. Sultan is dinged for caring about Madhu (even though he's a gangster), and I'm sure anyone else who decides to speak ill of RK will be called "Crazy" too. I'm surprised no one's mad a most wanted list 🤣

Rules are rules graved in stone. RK is allowed to get away to anything outrageous and stupid because of his dark past. But do ppl sit back once to analyse all the turmoil and past Padmini went through to become a mother. That Madhu is the world for her. That reason that she lived strong and healthy for twenty years after nearly being killed by her husband. Im sure she had deja vu flashbacks of Mallik and her being humiliated in national television,her daughters chharacter being questioned on national TV,Maliik being mercilessly beaten by RK's bodyguards,madhu being forcibly married to RK for her dads treatment,and then the unwedding drama,she knows to what extent RK can stoop to when it comes to his zidd.

In these circumstances all she could think of was the only man who can stand against the RK institutiona nd that is SULTAN.

She will do anything to get her daughter out of his clutches and far away from his nazar.

I totally understand ,why padmini is doing what she is doing.

Great post. Padmini's desperation is totally understandable. She was not wrong in trusting Sultan or going to him. He is the one who she can go to, there's no one else, and she has good reason to trust him.

She was particularly right in asking him to take Madhu away by force, but that is her desperation as a mother. And why not? Padmini is of the opinion that Madhu is going through her plan. Of coruse she is desperate and wants to save Madhu.

As for the notion that RK's truly genuine, his love is truly love...let me point out something.

Padmini herself said a few things. She said even though RK apologized, asked for approval etc, when she refused the same old RK came back. She wondered why Madhu couldn't see it. Then herself made the point that RK had publicly declared his love for Madhu. It doesn't matter if it's false, if Madhu goes through with her plan after his public declaration, he will surely retaliate.

Padmini is right in not falling for public declarations, and all of RK's various statements and apologies. His love is still zidd. He may or may not think it's love, but truth is that it's still zidd, zidd, zidd.

Padmini is fantastic and simply superb. Love her character.
