Padmini is one of the best characters on this show.. she is the only character which has remained true to its roots inspite the situations..if anything she has only evolved stronger as the story has progressed.. her devotion to Madhu cannot be questioned and just because she is scared out of her wits for her daughter which she has seen face so many difficulties in life and seen totally broken and wants to protect her in anyway,than she is not wrong!.. She went to see her, to somehow stop her from doing something which she believes will only hurt her further..she knows her daughter the best and knows that she is not that stone-hearted to actually give pain to RK,to break him and not be broken herself,..moreover she is unaware if Madhu is actually thinking of giving RK another chance,..in that scenario also her insecurity,her fear only increased once she saw RK's old colours cropping up at the mention of taking something he wants away from him..Although I feel she went a little overboard to actually ask Sultan to in a way kidnap Madhu, take her away even if it against Madhu's wish..Madhu has not been given choice to have her own way,.first it was RK and now forcefully taking her away will be a RK kind of act which I do not support..and thus I really hope Sultan does not force her even if Padmini has begged him,ordered him and asked him to do no matter what..BUT does this action of her makes me dislike her-NO,..not even a bit,..she is a mother who wants to protect her daughter because she did the mistake of trusting RK once, asked Madhu to follow her heart and saw her heart being cut into pieces mercilessly...so if she wants to save her same daughter from another heartbreak,emotional abuse and to save her soul from being tampered this time in a way after which she will never be the same,than I understand her!

As for her going to Sultan she is scared witless and she knew that if anyone can be of help it would be him.

She is desperate and as mother I really cannot blame her she has done desperate things from day one to protect her daughter against her obnoxious husband and now she sees R.K. as a similar threat.

I admire her as a strong and protective mother and all I can say is people who cannot understand that have no children of their own or simply think the Super Star does no wrong.

one thing I really thought about after reading your comment is Padmini's reason of being so scared is also in some way must be because of her own past bad experience..she has seen the insane kind of madness in her husband which she has seen in RK too which is all the more reason to want to protect Madhu..yes RK is not like Balraj who was a plain monster but the madness to have it their way and going to any lengths to have it their way is similar!..RK could be a changed man but who will vouch for it? we all thought he was a changed man after marriage and falling in love with Madhu but all that turned out to be a revenge for him. So as a mother, as an abused wife, it is not surprising that she does not trust RK at all.

The zeal, the determination to protect her child/children even today is what makes Padmini extraordinary. Madhu may not have any value of her life or soul from the way the episodes are shaping up but Padmini knows that Madhu's life, another heartbreak, endurance of more pain, insults and mockery is not worth anything...Not even Superstar RK hi kyun na ho.

Padmini ran straight to Sultan after hearing RK's "Main kuch bhi karsakta hoon,kuch bhi"

Great post. Padmini's desperation is totally understandable. She was not wrong in trusting Sultan or going to him. He is the one who she can go to, there's no one else, and she has good reason to trust him.

👏Great post as usual! You know how it is here "Though shall not take the lord God RK's name in vain." Now does it matter whether it is a concerned mother or an innocent child? Rules are rules graved in stone. RK is allowed to get away to anything outrageous and stupid because of his dark past. But do ppl sit back once to analyse all the turmoil and past Padmini went through to become a mother. That Madhu is the world for her. That reason that she lived strong and healthy for twenty years after nearly being killed by her husband. Her daugthers have been the center of her existence so ofcourse out of concern she might take extra dramatic moves for them.

I think Padmini is fabulous and I think she's doing exactly what she should do as a mother. I'm a mother, and if someone like RK, who brought my daughter up and tore her down suddenly decided that he loved my daughter yet did nothing to prove/redeem himself, I would be freaking out too. It's called the love of a mother. I just can't believe how many people are getting on her case for that! RK isn't that cute to me (but VD totally is he's doing a totally fabulous job here!)

But then again, as a quiet watcher, I expect nothing less. First Aryan was yelled at for being a kid and calling RK a bad man. Sultan is dinged for caring about Madhu (even though he's a gangster), and I'm sure anyone else who decides to speak ill of RK will be called "Crazy" too. I'm surprised no one's mad a most wanted list 🤣

I really like Padmini a lot...I guess the note the show started and the character was potrayed till date...its awesome...

Nice post, padmini is a wonderful mother, a firesome lady who has always fight against evil and stand up for her right, no matter how much struggle she have seen for this.
