A girl living with a man, sharing his bed under a 'contract' which will be trashed by any law court. Sure reflects how educated Madhu is. Even ill-literates don't do that.

thats what i said that As an audience we may come up with our own conclusions and interpretations. and here you come with urs.😆... nothing to say as each one is free to think according to their wish... i stick to my point that MEIEJ is a fiction show..and at least i go by what a character says...

You call it my interpretation but it's a simple fact. Madhu never got married to RK, she was trashed by him on the day of wedding and she clearly lied to media. Fiction or not, I don't blindly go by what characters say but judge on basis of what I see. RK calls himself a 'hero' and tomorrow he might call himself a 'God', surely I can't be expected to entertain what he says.

Damn these writers who mock women in every way possible.

agree 👍🏼 ... it is legally punishable , if madhu said it ,rk would have probably gone to jail 😆 ,, bonded labour was abolished long back but our cvs still following it 😆

i too wondered many times why did madhu even considered herself as married when she is not married both legally and traditionally 🤪... and still when rk says "biwi" she says "no ex-biwi" as if they were legally married and divorced couple 😆

since i have not watched those episodes due to that stupid track i'm not sure but still even if it is a 40 lakh contract couldnt malik have paid it by mortgagaing his house 🤔 ...

now madhu loves rk so she is dancing to his tunes ... if it is not the case then does rk really has any right on madhu to make her stay with him forcefully ? he can only ask for money not the woman 😆

The great 'creatives' are to be blamed for that. Such hypocrites they are, on one hand they write shows like 'Balika Vadhu' that give out a social message and on other hand they project the LEAD protagonist of their show as an airhead who can't even use her brain to judge what's right and what's wrong. In short, what they are trying to prove is, no matter how educated a women gets, deep down she still remains an emotional fool who can get carried away by few cheap antics of men like RK.

I read a post here in March, the writer had done research to what constitutes a Hindu marriage and whether it will be considered legal in the eyes of law.

As per that post, when a couple declare themselves as husband and wife and their family as well as society have seen them living together, they're considered married irrespective of whether proper rituals were followed or not. These days all marriages have be registered within a particular period post marriage. I remember 'coz the Panditji who presided over mine gave me hell for not getting it done immediately.

So, yes, THEY'RE MARRIED.

Also, today CV's showed RK calling the Press and giving out the statement that they're back together.

In my country too if society accepted a couple as married couple ( the couple legally and traditionally not married )since long time ,it is automatically become legal marriage..

That's a prob running in my mind too... Madhu had an incompleted 4 phere marriage.. RK betrayed her saying ''RK unweds Madhu..." But they neither signed divorced papers...!! Confusing!!😕
