but it's not about living without materialistic comforts...she wants to possess him , all that's fine..but will he be able to live without his identity, his fame ? 😕 will it not have a negative effect on him? he will have love in his life but lose everything else 😕

Charu,

You can revisit episode aired on 28th Dec. RK has thought about that too. He knows what he is sacrificing.

It was Madhu who did not respond to him and just hugged him without showing any reaction to his pain and was just smiling.

IMO, in this track, Madhu might realize, what a sacrifice RK is making. Though she is basking in his adulation for her, she may now actually realize, what it really means for him. And so when their plan is going to have a debacle, it might be HER who will support HIM and ask HIM to stay back as that is the right thing to so. And definitely RK will feel the pang at her sacrifice this time because though he was one who offered her the dream initially, he had come to see how much she had loved it. So it will be a pain felt by both...like a baby lost for them.

perfectly fine ! but i just hope he doesn't take that step in real bec. it's sheer madness...simple life, without the RK tag is all perfect but donating 100% of his money ? is he THAT foolish to not keep anything for himself? at least a minimum amount so that he doesn't have to struggle for daily needs? that's a hefty price to pay for love 😆

ur abs right..what was Madhu thinking at that time? 😕 i just hope they realize, what u just said, before it's too late...

I differ you with on donating money. If one has made up his mind to give it away to get something, then he is still indulging in trade-off, like any business man does. RK is also being a business man here...an investment decision he is making. What is precious for us, is precious for him too and he is paying that price to gain something. It is gamble for him as well. So question is ...IS HE FOOLISH to believe that he will be happy with Madhu, does he think his TRADE-OFF will be loss by choosing Madhu over money.

when he has both money and Madhu, why this trade off 😕 this is no way to deal with the uncertainties of life...he can give away all his money but keep something to start a life from scratch ..will he beg?? or do they expect Mr. Patil to give them shelter and living for the next few years bec. he's superstar RK? 😆our families and love are precious to all of us but do we live like nomads ke pyar mil gaya toh kuch aur nahi chahiye ??

OMG! So much of discussion already. 😆
Regarding RKs money donation and not keeping anything for himself, I had expressed my displeasure at it on the that day itself(10th Jan), when he had summoned his lawyer. I was not at all happy with him not keeping any money for himself and Madhu and run into his new life aisehi. I remember Shri, you had asked me to think of RK from an artists mind, that does not think logically. I am sorry, but, I still cannot digest this decision of his. Agree with Charu here. It seems entirely foolish to me.👎🏼 From that day itself it has been bothering me. 😕 Kuch bhi hojaye, you need money to survive and secure your family, and this is after all his hard earned money. He can sure rebuild his fortune again with his new profession, but leaving all the money behind makes no sense to me. Sorry. Very bad thought RK. Just my pov.

So you think a man cannot survive after he loses his fortune ? What if earthquake hits a city and the man loses everything he had. Will he lose everything ?

My grandfather built a new life in another city, with a wife and a kid as his responsibility when he left his native place with not a penny over him. He thought he had a coin to get him a ticket for his train journey and that too turned out fake. He lived the ignominy to have travelled like a chor to the new place, but he made a life for himself. Later He came back to his native place with fortune to repay his meager amount of debt which made him leave the place, unable to reconcile with the thought that he will be called a defaulter.

Padmini...she too was penniless. Didn;t she find Roma.

Everyone gets a chance. Iraada pakka hona chaahiye.

We are just hearing RK's dialogues of leaving with Madhu. We still have not been shown a peep into RK's mind, in which manner he wants to leave. His will just states, if he is found missing or deemed dead...until that point, he still has access to his money. And again question is who signs as the witness. There should be two witnesses usually. Who is going to be the second one.

Anyways, its going to fail, so why bother at the execution. The idea is what you should understand. I have listened to a lot of negative thinking on going away track...And I felt I needed to react to all this...to tell you that the idea appeals to some like me if it is majorly disliked by others.

Charu,
I read about it in couple of posts on today's EDT. Don't exactly remember which ones.
@bold:I am having a tough time understanding what exactly you want to say here. If he disappears aise hi, n comes back after some days, he would have already lost all his money coz of his WILL. Then how can he still have his riches? 😕 Forgive my dumbness, can you please elaborate? 😆

Shri,
I am not entirely against the idea of them going away. I never was. I am not even saying that a man cannot survive after he loses everything and cannot build a new life. As you wrote, your grandfather successfully built a new life for himself in an entirely alien world and that is really commendable. I did mention that RK can rebuild his fortune with whatever profession he chooses in his new life. He is quite capable of that. Its one thing to lose out everything owing to a natural calamity or quirk of fate(as was with Padmini) and another one to bring such situation upon oneself by your decisions. And that is what RK would be doing if the will ever gets executed. The lack of perception shown in his thoughts is what I am not so much in favor of.

As you said, lot of people are negative about this going away track, coz majority of people work with a simple, logical mind and hence cannot comprehend this thought of leaving all the money behind, not taking anything with him to start his life anew. Not everyone possesses that artists mentality. Its only very few who have a very creative mind, might be able to come to terms with RKs decision and the idea might appeal to them, like yourself. No wonder you understand RKs character so well, and you are always able to pen down your analysis in a brilliant manner for commoners like me. 😊 👏 👏 👏

Shri, agree that she did not respond to him over there but for me that reaction of hers was spot-on... Madhu always acts and reacts the way he should be dealt and in a manner that pleases RK. ... This is majorly one of the reason why she was able to break the barriers surrounding him. Agree that she commits mistakes here and there, but for a major part, it works in her favor...

Secondly, how would she even know what it is to actually leave his passion for work.. She was for a very long time unable to even understand the exact depth of his pain and hurt of the 3 dhokas... In real life also, you can never really comprehend the true depth of someone else's loss or pain... And here she has never had a taste of such a life . She doesn't really understand what he is sacrificing in terms of passion for work, etc. And of the times she has seen during those early days of her marriage, as far as I know, most of the time I have heard him yell only "Pack up!!!!"

And another thing i wanted to tell, this girl has started living his dream.. I can't help but remember this line "uska sapna ban gaya iski zindagi ka haqeeqat" I know the sapna was she being made heroine... and i also know that this dream has not yet materialized...But still couldn't stop thinking of it.. You know my fixation and love for those initial promo wali lines..

Well people forget that money is just means to bargain. And there is luck, personal character, destiny and Faith above it. If there is no money, one can always barter his other resources.

It is daunting to many and even RK to do what he is doing...but the man takes to alcohol the moment he fears losing Madhu. Wouldn't he want to cure himself in the manner he believes it will help him. And he is not alone. His wife there to support him. What more can he want.

FEAR to LOSE is what AILS most. And I believe the strong minded always do something to remove that fear, which ever way it can be done. Sometimes the only reality left is to know that one is destined to lose and he better be a loser. How bad is that predicament ? But what if PEACE comes with accepting the LOSS. Thing is peace comes when one accepts his condition. And to accept anything one needs to question the condition and fight it. Until you have asked, there is no walking on the path to peace. And all this leads us on the path of renunciation.

You too are questioning what you don't want to accept. And I am just trying to answer. This is how we find answers in the world at real too. Speaking from my experience.

I agree that just as it is difficult for you to accept what RK is doing, it is difficult to answer for me as well in his support. But then, there was Lord Ram who left everything and went on exile to bestow peace for his parents( their condition was not for him to question, peace to him was to just to listen, to follow) and there was Gautam Buddha who left his wife and son behind to find his answers. Two different contexts. Compared to Gautam Buddha, RK is not taking SANYAAS and that is so much uplifting and to know that he is still a SANSAARI. And we build our character, hearing these stories, having faith in God.
