Today's episode was too good. I loved it. I would gladly take this kind of light hearted, funny and witty episode anytime over the high voltage drama. Both DD and VD were phenomenal in their comic timing and their expressions were just perfect. To, me this episode was the best and they both were flawless in their expressions and dialogues without the usual boring eyelocks and weird looking camera facing hugs.

I just couldn't stop but wonder that the CV's intentions behind this track is to knock some sense into RK as it is not easy living a commoner's life after being used to the luxuries of having surplus amount of wealth and servants to answer his beckoning call. Madhu has lived her entire life wihout the luxuries and it would be a piece of cake for her to let go off everything and go with him but we already see that RK is having a hard time when the old man in the village did not recognize him. This track is more like a reality check for him where not everyone is going to be at his service and worshiping him for his looks and his work in movies. He also has to do his own chores and not expect anyone to do his work for him if he wants to be away from all his luxuries in his life. Living in village would make him realize how hard it is for people who do not have enough money to get by each day and at the same time might also be an eye opener for him as to how happy they are leading a simple life. RK could use this situation to think through his decision of leaving his world for good and going away with Madhu. Madhu does not have anything to hold on to from her life before marriage and RK is all she cares for whereas RK is the one who has to do a major sacrifice for his own happiness which he thinks can be accomplished only by leaving everything and everyone behind except Madhu. My question to RK is that if Madhu can get herself accustomed to this luxurious pompous life of RK then why can RK not get accustomed to living a simpleton? I think he most definitely can and if internal peace and happiness is what he is in search of then as along as Madhu is with him he should be able to achieve that with no issues whether he is rich or poor. So what is really the need for leaving everything and everyone behind?

The old man's wife was kind of sort of predicting Madhu's future as her becoming a heroine I guess. But RK's expressions to her statement was priceless. He clearly was irritated and annoyed that she would make such a statement. Is it because of his ego that no one can be better than him or is it because he does not want her in the industry which he so desperately is trying to get away from?

Precap was hilarious with RK trying to dance with his dhoti. Both Madhu and RK in typical Maharashtrian outfits looked adorable. I don't know where this track will lead to but I personally am loving it.

frm where did this thought came to your mind ananya 😕 bec. i was thinking along the same lines what if he decides to stay back ? n return after a gap of time only to find his family in a mess? and yest. was Madhu packing for their exile? 😲 n woh bhi he refused ke he doesn't need anything..that stupid montage big twist 😭 n since the last 2 months they r developing this track only toh they will not leave it in between...but i dun think therez much to worry about..there will be a lot of positives also ..he won't be without his riches , finally shayad marriage ho jaaye...n Madhu becoming a heroine later on...one very big BUT is that the plot has to be convincing enuf ..how the transition should happen...OR, after all this, he changes his decision...whenever they had to leave, it had to be this way only..without any money, without any base and the outcome of leaving everything and everybody behind, irrespective of when and how they do it, will be similar ...at the back of my mind, i can never accept that a person like RK can take such a foolish & miscalculated decision..and WHY?

You should give me a name to call you. Your DP name is too mumbo-jumbo for me.

I saw your post over the Ashes post. 😊. But here is the new update.

Like I said in my earlier post, this village track is the gentle buildup to a major track. madhu is looking forward to leaving with RK, she is comfortable with the idea because:
  • She has had an anonymous life, that is till she met RK.
  • She has lived on very little material comforts...her mindset is more used to thrift ..remember at the sangeet, she tells trishna, something about sharing kulfis. That is how her life has been.
  • She wants to lead the simple life she'd always dreamt of...husband, children etc
  • She also wants RK all to herself...she would have felt guilty going away if the RK-Radha milaap had not happened. Her first reaction when Radha told her he called her Maa, was that they could now leave to build their own world.
However, as much as we think she is lost in her world, we have always seen that she is extremely shrewd in her own way. Is she also concerned that he's leaving behind his life, his passion ie: work, it is very obvious to her he loves his work. Will RK be able to leave his creative world, and live a life of anonymity? Yesterday, he was not able to handle it when the old man mistook his name, and refused to acknowledge that he is a star? Through this unexpected detour, he is actually getting a taste of his life after stardom. Somewhere Madhu was also taking him experientially through his so called 'anonymous' life. he imagines a world...because it is a world new to him, will he actually be happy in such a world once the novelty wears off?

here is a nice article, don't generally post articles here, but the one I've posted below is bang on and relevant:

Charu and all,

Obviously, I was in episode grip, so I couldn't answer you.😆

Everyday, we see their love for each other, which is falling into place like a very comfortable dress, which we love to wear. But today, they were on fire, the screen was on fire.

Attraction was seen in KC track days, but with a lot of holdback. At the studio over Mehndi day, when Madhu steps into his shooting, there is a change of place and we see them getting awkward. RK is unable to act in front of his wife and likewise Madhu gets possessive, though she understands that she should not. So that awkwardness was another way of showing us their passion, attraction for each other.

Today, them both so settled in their love, romance...yes they tease themselves with jokes which they only understand...and so from this vantage, today in the episode, it was once again attraction, passion and falling in love for both of them and more for Madhu.

If we see, in three allusions I made, Madhu is the one who gets attracted to him and wants him to be hers, in totality...she doesn't want to share and wants to possess him and can do anything for that. And in three allusions, RK senses what Madhu feels and he starts reacting to that. We all know that pre and over KC track days, RK knew how Madhu was falling for him, at the studio, in the 2nd allusion, RK would not have faltered in dialogues had Madhu been indifferent. He falters becoz, he senses Madhu is not liking him with another women, even if that is his co-actor. And today, RK again senses Madhu falling all over for him and he registers that, without leaving his RK'esque traits. This is like he was in his KC days. Only this time, he is an acknowledged lover and husband of hers and so not leaving the place like KC track days. Here is taking to next level...like smudging her in soot was such a sensual touch. And even near the AC cleaning up scene at the end of episode, he was reacting to the glowing flare on her face when taunting him and he was poised to do something.

All of this is passionate. Everyday, you cannot be passionate. And I like these natural and logical emotions.

  • Madhu's love for RK strengthens him and he becomes more of RK
  • However Madhu's passion for RK, awes him to a sense of responsibility towards her and he becomes more of Rishabh.

And Madhu, remove her from her pleasant "used to" setting, she always gets passionate about RK. Madhu is a resilient person, a person who is confident because she doesn't have non-sensical ambitions or insecurities that drive her to do anything. She is okay with life wherever it takes her. But remove her away from her normal setting, she goes into a wild state, where her desire becomes RK. This aspect of hers has not been developed by CVs yet, but they have hinted it now for 5 times.
  1. The dream, which is so away from chawl setting and herself as beautician. She dreams herself dancing with RK in a dreamy manner...She is unsettled that she gets up perspiring.
  2. Then when she removes herself from RK Mansion setting and goes to watch her husband RK shooting for a film (not as the spot girl that she watched him earlier), she dreams again with herself in his Baahen (embrace).
  3. After a lot of breezy romance post love confession and lets leave dreaming in their privy moments be at the farmhouse or bedroom, when she goes to see RK again at the shooting scene during Padmini's Mehndi track, she gets upset at seeing him acting with other female, though she knows it wrong and realizes it is upsetting her husband also and she controls herself.
  4. After all the fight due to test of love...at the lake side set, she wants to finish the 7 pheras there itself. Well for plot reasons they stop at 4...but Madhu is unstoppable once she gets outside her regular setting and is just with him.
  5. Now they started for picnic expecting entire family to be with them, but it turned out Stranded in Village track. But Madhu cannot help herself and keeps fitting any excuse to just picture herself alone with him, be her wayward and forgetful packing...yes she was supposed to pack for picnic, but she ended packing for themselves...though I did not feel that in my heart yesterday due to the dialogues and TRP dig by writers, today in retrospect, I see that Madhu is looking for any excuse to take flight away from the RK Mansion setting. In the bullock cart too, she could not but ridiculously compare the three kids to be theirs and as if that bullock cart was her new world. Madhu is uncontrollably losing herself to her dream of possessing RK just for herself.
This is where it is making it passionate for herself, making RK turn into Rishabh, making him not just love her, but be sensitive to her, care for her, to revere her and all of this is not about giving her comfortable life, all of this is about being a match to her passion, to be equal to her, to love her that much in the way she desires him and would appreciate him. It definitely means a challenge for him...a sense of responsibilty towards fulfilment of love coming up...and not just materialistic comforts of life for his wife.

While the 4 pheras all mean the peripherals of marriages and what it means to the spouses, the last three pheras are about the core of the marriage for the two people who are getting married. And definitely CVs are getting the idea of playing passion with regards to last three pheras without having them take those three.

And in ending I would say; if on regular basis, Madhu runs MEIEJ story for all characters through managing RK, the soul of the Rishbala love story is run by Madhu's inexplicable passion for RK and moving Rishabh Kundra to react.

tht's a beautiful post Shri 👏 helped me think positive 😊

but it's not about living without materialistic comforts...she wants to possess him , all that's fine..but will he be able to live without his identity, his fame ? 😕 will it not have a negative effect on him? he will have love in his life but lose everything else 😕

thank u so so much for the article Soundarya...the author was pretty honest..these "real" stories about star tantrums and attitude never comes out in the press...people who r close to them, the media, they know the reality n they care two hoots about these celebs...😊

to be honest , when i was young, these stories affected me also..i was a huge fan of Salman Khan n bought SO many gossip magazines just to know whether he's marrying aishwarya rai or not 😆...slowly when i found out how these stars are in real life, the craze just vanished..it's a facade ...since then i just care abt the movies, i watch them, i like them or not like them..i'm not concerned with their real life, what they do, what they don't do...i'm far far away from the "fandom" be it a bollywood or tellywood star...

considering the amount of adulation these ppl. get, it IS very difficult for them to come to terms with the fact that they r not popular anymore...when their fame fizzles out, they come to know..but here, RK is doing it on purpose...lets wait n watch how he manages to come over it, IF he does take this drastic step..gtg. i have a busy day ahead

Sounds,

I liked Amin Hajee article. It was very interesting. The last part of it was so nice. You know, I never used to like Madhuri Dixit when she was the leading actress. But off late I have started to admire her, infact her adore her, just because, I was able to see that she was still a person who was before she set out to become a star. How I felt it first was, her marriage, then her love for her dance. It showed me how much she loves her family and her love for dance. These two were strong enough for her to be stable. I watched JDJ -5 last year, just to mentally pay my respect to her...something that I never much credited her when she was so popular.

Same way I felt about Meenakshi Sheshadri.

Another heroine who really could not handle stardom was Divya Bharti. And I actually felt for her also.

And about stardom...today's episode...I called it liberating because, it was making RK see what he will feel if RK the star is removed from his persona. And likewise, it would put a seed into either Madhu or RK's mind, what Madhu would feel, if she becomes more important than RK.

And I always like liberation from any existing state of mind. I get very bored easily and so I like to have free floating experiences that open me upto new thinking, new challenges...though ...I must say, life has now toned down my tendency to become bored by making me more perceptive and careful.
