Chapter 19

Frustratingly Madhu took off the top she just put on almost causing it to rip and threw it across the room in the hope of never seeing it again and started to look for something else to wear. Finally deciding on a kurta which Maya had given her last year but had never seen the light of day till today, Madhu grabbed her bag and must haves – cell phone; check, lip gloss; check, paper towels; check, peppermint; check. Hmmm she smiled thinking, a girl should be prepared at all times, you never know when you might just meet someones lips!!! She giggled shyly at her thought. Flashing back to her steamy night kissing adventure she glanced back at the top which she wrecklessly cast aside, remembering the way he moved his hand under the same top and drew small circles across her skin. She literally jumped out of her skin when Maya tapped her on the shoulder trying to draw her attention. "What happened Madhu? You seem very jumpy today?" , Maya asked her, concern all over her face. "uh..Nothing. What's for breakfast today?" Being flustered and caught off guard, Madhu quickly changed the topic.

After Madhu left for Saplings, Maya turned to Mr. Malik and decided to ask what she intended to all morning. "Malikji, have you noticed something difference in Madhu since last evening?" "What do you mean?", he asked looking up from his paper. "Well since you both came back yesterday, Madhu has been walking around with a permanent smile on her face. I even caught her giggling by herself a couple of times. Yesterday she even ate eggplant without complaining, it was like she was in a world of her own. Even today when I woke her up she was mumbling something in her sleep which I couldn't make out. When I asked her about it she just brushed it off. She even wore the kurta which I gave her last year, and which she refused to wear, just because I told her that she was pretty grown up now and should start dressing up like one instead of a college going kid. You remember what a fit she threw because she didn't want to be all grown up because that meant getting married and she just wanted to remain Daddy's little girl forever. Do you think she met someone?", Maya asked Malikji all excitedly. "Maya, Maya, don't want to break your bubble, but I think you are reading too much into it. Madhu must have been in a good mood yesterday, after all she sold all her paintings in her first ever exhibition. And regarding the kurta, she must have just decided to wear Indian for a change. Maya, if it was upto you, you would have had Madhu married by now carrying her first child", Mr. Malik said laughingly. Maya gave him a glare and turned to go, all the while thinking, hmmm something is definitely going on. Will have to keep my eye on Madhu. Mr. Malik looked on as Maya walked towards the kitchen. Thank God for Maya, otherwise Madhu and I would have been seriously lost after Padmini. She takes care and loves Madhu to bits, if only Madhu would be able to love her back as much. She has been so supportive and such a good friend. I don't think that day is far when Madhu will be able to open her heart to others. She has grown so much since she started volunteering her time at Saplings. The time she has spent with the kids, kids who have faced similar or ever worse tragedies, and the way they hold onto whatever little happiness they still have in their life, has made her rethink her life. I think she is trying to live a better and happy life. I do hope she succeeds, he thought looking up as if sending up a prayer.

I have had dreams like this before, everyone has had a dream like this some time or the other in their life, so what is so special about this one. As far as I can remember, Gerard Butler has held the starring role in my wet dreams. Ever since P.S. I Love You, no one has been able to hold a candle in front of Gerard Butler. Why is this dream getting me all hot and flustered every time I think of it. Who was that man and god dammit he had such wonderfully marvelous hands. Just thinking about those hands roaming my body is getting me hot for him again. I need to find some other physical activity and fast.

Arggh!! Why am I getting bothered by that dream? I don't even know how I sat through that conference all morning. Thankfully I wasn't one of the presenters today or else I would be in deep shit. Okay think Rishab. You have found the root cause and respective solutions to every business problem you have faced till date. You can definitely do this one. Without even seeing her face, I wanted her like I have never wanted anyone else. Was she just a figment of my imagination or did she represent someone I know? Naah, there is no one I could want or need like that. Hmm let me see when was the last time I dated? Wow, I have been caught up with work so much lately that I havn't dated in months. Also didn't want to date anyone lately with all the woman wanting to date me just because they might get to be Mrs. Rishab Kundra one day. Finally found the root cause – my frustration of not getting laid. And solution – need to get laid and fast!!! But where can I find someone who doesn't really know me or care much for being the next Mrs. Kundra, someone with whom I can just spend some quality time with and in turn polish the pipe. Yes, Himachal, where better to find some girl who might not even remember me later. (FYI – In the valleys of the Himachal, you get the best weed) Let me see, Friday doesn't seem all that busy, except for the lenders meeting called by the main promoter of the project. It is just a review meeting, so my presence is not all that important. What if I send Bittuji for it. And then I could cancel everything else for the next one week and head to Himachal to tap some ass and also do some good old mountain climbing, just like the good old college days. Happy with himself, he emailed his instructions to Bittuji to cancel all appointments for the next week and reshedule them for the week after that and assign work to all his subordinates. He looked up his friend and sent him a brief message, "Hey dude, coming end of this week. Keep those beers chilled. Planning to let loose and enjoy." Plan in place, he forgot all about the dream and started reliving his college days when he and his friend would take time off and disappear into the beautiful valleys of the Himachal for days, again forgetting all about the conference he was sitting on.

P.S. - Sorry about the delay but as mentioned earlier, have been loaded with work at the office. Also there will be a delay in the next post as i have to do some research on montaineering and rock climbing. Don't worry somehow Madhu will also land up there!!!
