Thank you for your wonderful response.I think what I'm going to write today is not so interesting(Hey,I'm not thinking that the previous parts which I wrote were interesting).But please do comment.
PART 3:-The Truth
RK approaches Madhu.
He,on noticing Deepali's presence in that room,decides not to insult Madhu in front of her.
So,he calls her,"Madhu," -this time intentionally,taking care of the each and every word that is going to be escaped from his mouth.
She did not respond.
He again called her,"Madhu".This time she turned towards him.He told,"Madhu,bring my break fast to my-um-our room".
When Madhu is about to go to kitchen to fetch him his break fast,Deepali who is still standing in that room keeping am eagle -eye at this couple,stopped Madhu,and told Madhu,"You are arranging flowers,right?You do that.I'll take breakfast to him."
She smiled at RK.
This time RK got totally irritated,because of two reasons-1)Deepali is coming in between his mission of making Madhu talk with him.
2)Deepali her self is very irritating.
Now he spoke to Deepal"I want only my wife-do you understand?MY WIFE -to bring break fast to me.If you are willing so much to feed some one go and feed your husband so that he may not die of hunger.I don't like someone interfering in my life.OK?".She stood there as if she is again slapped this time by RK.
Now he softened his voice and spoke to Madhu,"Madhu,you go and bring breakfast to OUR room,I'll be waiting there".
Madhu silently went to kitchen.RK,after giving a stern look to Deepali,left to his room.
Madhu is now in the kitchen.Yes,she is still doing every thing absent mindedly-from -following RK's orders- to- now keeping his once-upon-a-time-favorite dish in the plate for break fast(without even noticing what it is).
IN RK's ROOM,
RK is sitting on the couch waiting for Madhu.She entered the room with the breakfast.
She kept it on the table in front of RK.She stood there,looking somewhere,He told,"Biwi,will you stand here the whole day or will you do any thing".She looked at him.He continued,"Go,polish and bring my shoes which are in the hall.
She obeyed his order and left the room,still not noticing what she is doing.
RK got really shocked of this.He followed her till the door of his room,looking at her.
She climbed down the stairs and reached to the corner where his shoes are kept.They are his old shoes covered with dust each and every inch.
RK came inside his room,sat on the couch and began eating the breakfast,thinking of Madhu and not noticing that the dish he is now eating was once his favorite.How can he notice?Staggering thoughts about Madhu got preoccupied in his mind,which are preventing him from noticing his deeds.
Someone else's mind also got what-we-can-call as not a storm but a tsunami of questions.
Guess who?
Deepali.
Yes,after seeing Madhu entering the hall,Deepali wanted to know what happened and went to RK's room.
On seeing RK,eating the dish after more than 17 years,got really shocked and left from there with a 'tsunami' of what might have happened between the two.
"RK is changed so much.He is calling Madhu,a purchased wife as his own wife and wanted her to fetch his breakfast and eating the dish-which she challenged Madhu that he will not eat?"
She is thinking so hard that she pushed her husband away,who is standing at the door of their room.
Madhu finished the polish,RK finished his breakfast-both did their respective things,un-noticingly .Madhu entered the room and handed over his shoes to him.
RK as planned before started bad mouthing Madhu's family,by which he thought Madhu will become very angry.
She quietly stood near the opened window.A cool breeze is coming from the window.
But she is neither paying attention to this nor that,as she did not even notice that someone is talking something with her.
RK stooped.Stood from the couch and went near her.
He is facing her back.
He kept his hand on Madhu's shoulder.
She slowly turned to face him as she noticed that some one has touched her.
He asked her,"Madhu,are you alright?"This "Madhu" came as if her taking care ,not at his words ,but for his wife.
She looked at him.Flashes of the same studio scene came to her mind.She unintentionally turned her face away from him.She is avoiding him,but without thinking of doing so,and even without noticing that she is doing so.
He took back his hand from her shoulder and is about to place his hand on her forehead to check whether she is having a fever or not,but she turned away from him and is about to go from that room.
He held her hand and stopped her.
He came forward and told"Madhu,it seems that you are not feeling well.Stay here and take rest.I'll not disturb you.But if there is any necessity,don't hesitate to call me. "
Saying so,he left from the room.
Now it is Madhu's turn to stare at the door.
Radha,returned from the temple and sat on the sofa in the hall.Just then Bittu ji arrived and said,"Aunty ji I'm sorry that I did not accompany chief here.I got a call from the producer and got to go,so..."
He did not complete his words as he got interrupted by Radha ji.
"Is everything alright?"
"What aunty ji?"
"Did they both again..."
"Aunty ji,which both are you talking about,I did not understand anything"
"Bittu ji,RK..."
"Aunty ji,I was about to tell you that .Today something strange has happened. Chief was about to do a kissing scene with the heroine,with whom he had got number of hits and they are considered as as the most hit pair,and..."
"Yes,yes I too know,after their recent movie,in which there is a kissing scene,there went rumors that these two are in love."
"Yes, aunty ji,chief was about to kiss her,and he suddenly told to cut.Don't know what happened.Till then the scene went quite smoothly.He even told the director that if he wants the kissing scene to be done by chief,Chief is not going to be the part of the film."
"What?"
"Yes,aunty ji,Chief even wanted not to be home till night aunty ji,and he..."
"I know Bittu ji,this is the thing he always does this day every year."
"I was reminding this to him but he turned deaf ear to me.While we were in the car,he got a call from the producer.Chief wanted me to go and meet him.I resisted as I do not want to leave him alone in that condition but he forcefully sent me from there."
"Madhu?"
"What aunty ji?"
"Then, Madhu did not meet you and RK?She said that she would go to the studio to meet RK"
"Bhabhi ji? She did not come to the studio.May be we had missed her as there is a huge crowd.Aunty ji,I am more worried about Chief.Is he alright aunty ji?He has not done anything like this before.Where is he?"
"Munna"
"Yes,madam"
"Where is RK?"
"Madam,he now only went somewhere"
"Aunty ji,I'll call chief and I'll try to know where he is."
"OK,Bittu ji."
Radha sighed of relief"So, they both did not get into another argument.But what happened to both?Bappa ji,please save these two."
Wait...Wait...
Some one was over hearing the conversation between Radha and Bittu.
It is Madhu.
A small smile came across her lips.she even did not listen the conversation completely.She listened till that word which calmed down the storm inside her.
She rushed inside the room.She is now standing in front of the mirror,placing her hands on the dressing table and taking support from it.
Her smile widened .To say the fact -she is actually laughing.
She accidentally looked at herself in the mirror.
She stopped for a while.Her smile faded away.A new storm has started now.
WHAT?WHY?
What went through her till now?Why is she laughing?
She recovered her senses.
She tried to remember every thing.
Her challenge with Deepali,Promise to Radha.Her entry into the studio.The scene being shot there.Her coming back to the home.RK shaking her shouting,"What?".Radha asking her "what happened".RK asking her to bring breakfast.His ordres of polishing his shoes and his words of"Madhu,it seems that you are not feeling well.Stay here and take rest.I'll not disturb you.But if there is any necessity,don't hesitate to call me" and his leaving the room.Bittu ji telling that RK did not kiss the heroine and her smiling face in the mirror.
Every thing she remembered is now questioning her.
Why did she do like this.What happened to her.Why did she behave like that with RK?
Why?
Thinking so,she lifted her face slowly to look at the mirror.
She saw RK standing right behind her ,folding his hands and smiling ,looking at her through mirror.
