but that is exactly what their relationship isnt! that of a normal married couple! and she , even he, do NOT aspire to make anything of it either.

so yes, when she talks of resolving anything for him , its more from Radhaji's angle who suffers the most , his detachment, in the house.
Moreover, theirs is not a relationship in which they genuinely want to reform or work on the other person out of the 'goodness of their heart'..

more often than not, it springs as a reaction to taunts and challenges. Madhu has taken the onus of bringing back God to his life, since shes wallowing in some kind of soft sentiment towards him, ever since his revelations about how her unthinking act of exposing those pictures affected him.

So we cannot and should not view any of this out of context. Meaning it is not simply a question, of forcing one's belief on someone else. That would be a different discussion altogether.

However, celebrating it in a house owned by him, knowing that he has a very hurtful past related to the God is just insensitive.

The house is only his... yes, but I am very much for Madhu making him realise that once you married me, everything of yours became mine too. The good, bad and the ugly.

One thing that Madhu isn't is insensitive..😆 She means it in the best possible way for Rk to believe in Bappa again. Religion is like that - some people respect and accept each other's faith and live well together, others cannot compromise and are better off without each other.

I don't think you are understading that I have a problem with her way of trying to show her sympathy. If she's feeling bad for him, as you said, then she should do it in a nicer way, no?? Why try to upset him by bringing in a God he doesn't believe in?? Wouldn't exposure to the god bring back painful memories fo rhim. She should take babys teps towards trying to awaken the belief in him once again. I'd be very upset if someone used such an approach just to annoy me. The way she said " Is saal toh woh ayenge ghar mein"..It's not just her decision ya know ?? How can she be so determined to do exactly what he doesn't like when she knows the reason why he doesn't believe in God?? I wanted to know how others feel about this, Thanks for the great responses, I liked them :)

ok I have only one thing to ask..if u feel it's forcing to bring ganesh to home then RK restraining others forcefully to go out of their beliefs just coz he don't believe is not coming under forcing...???

he could have let Madhu to go for celebrations in her chawl or anywhere for that matter...why mocking her if she believe god even after he didn't helped him marrying a beast like him...?? coz he didn't believe n Ile wanted to force her...so Madhu is not the only one forcing here..both r doing it equally...

if he sooo wanted to not bring ganesh home...he could have let people go their way...n if u talk about owner n all...we all know they both r always in clash mode...so there is no way anyone r going to go back in their zidd n ego when ever possible..n that is selling point between RishBala's chemistry...

if he out of his own problems n egos don't want his family members n especially Madhu to leave celebrations what's wrong in bringing ganesh home for her own believe...

if u missed out she said RK to stay out of the celebrations...of course the twists in tale will force him to believe god not Madhu's forcing...

An interesting discussion. For the sake of this discussion it will be spirituality and not religion for me.

If i have to answer the question of this post on a standalone basis... I would say' No. But if the person in question is family or a friend'differences are bound to be there and they will be voiced. Aslong as there is no force involved and you respect the others belief' arguments are natural and acceptable.

Coming to this story' I don't think Madhu is wrong, aslong as her intentions are right, which they are. It is not an ego battle between the two for which Bappa is being utilized. From what has been told to Madhu she realizes that RK has lost faith not in GOD but in his supreme friend, probably his only friend! She just wants to give him back that friend' if not for anything just to fight with, just to talk to.

This post reminds of the story 'Footprints'. One night a man had a dream. He dreamt he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. But he notices that there have phases in his life where he sees only a single set of footprint. Terribly disappointed he asks the Lord why he deserted him in during the trying time. The Lord replied "During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

This is basically is what Madhu is trying to get RK see. There has to be a person in your life who is able to get through to you on matter even you don't want to acknowledge and that person in RK's life is Madhu. He may have mocked about how Bappa could have in the least ensured they took the 7 pheras' but what he really needs to realize even though the marriage was not solemnized in total, it is the only relationship he calls his own' that in a way is a blessing of Bappa to him😊.

Hopefully by time of the visarjan, RK's friend has won him back and RK, his wife.😛

I THINK MADHU IS RIGHT RK IS NOT NON BELIEVER HIS FATH LOOSE BECAUSE OF TRADEGIES IN HIS LIFE BUT INDENSIONALY HE IS GOOD AND BELIEVE ON GOD, WE ALL HAVE SOME EXPERIENCES THAT WHEN WE WANT SOMETHING AND NEVER GET THAN WE COMPLAIN TO GOD. BUT I DON'T WANT TO SEE THAT MADHU FORCE HIS WRONG WAY SHE SHOULD USE HER CARD INTELIGENTLY, AND NEVER TRY TO HEART RK FEELINGS BUT I THINK IF SOME ONE LOOSE THEIR FAITH WE HAVE TO HELP THEM, GUIDE THEM AND ITS OUR DUTY BUT NOT IMPOSE THEM ANY THING OR IDEAS ON OTHER.

Hay, yep defo agree with this points... I guess you can't force...
However why are we ignoring the fact what RK have done... Forcing her to merry him... I think this a perfect reason however in my morality, I am forbidden to take revenge in such way that will upset my belive... My god...

So I guess there is both side to this points which is correct in both prospective.

How abt a different perspective..

She is doing it for herself .. had RK been nice to (by his stnds) her mom and refused the invitation.. she wudn't have bothered .. hell even if not polite .. had he told her not to go to mother's house she wud have been fine .. its just becasue he again challenged her by his rude words that she is irked ..

Like u said .. sabki apni feelings hai .. madhu ki bhi hai apni.. ab she believes in god n if some1 else insults that god .. its her insult .. n all of us know how well she knows to make RK pay for any insults..

N RK ko pasand ho ya na ho .. Madhu to manati hai na ye festival .. so she shud

i think that peoples personal choice should be respected and tolerated...in the show RK does not want to have a relationship with god...so he should be left with his idea...however, it should not be restricted for all if they do want to have said relationship...i do believe however, that its important to find out why people don't want something and to try to start a conversation about why or why not he feels this way...
