@cassie : I thought Madhubala was the more mature person in this show, that's why I am questioning her actions and not RK's actions. RK is shown to be the bad boy since like day one of his entry, so why would I state the obvious by saying that RK is being rude?? Making compromises isn't what she should do, but respecting someone's personal space and understanding that being near a certain thing will make them sad doesn't make Madhu the smaller person. It makes her look better than RK when she shows that she's respecting his decision even though he doesn't respect hers. " An eye for an eye leaves the world blind." She's the better person out of the two characters, so is it wrong to expect her to be more respectful than RK?? I'm not saying that she should tolerate all sorts of torture just because she's nicer, but I said in my last post that I would have loved to see her fight with RK and go against his wishes to go join the festival at her Mom's place bcause she is practicng her freedom of religion. But after knowing why he dislikes the God, I don't see the point of refreshing his painful memories all of a sudden.

why though? whats wrong with athiesm as an ideology which needs to be fixed? it is a perfectly rational ideology. i dont like it that it is beign viewed as a fault to be fixed liek all the rest of his faults.
that athiesm is a fault is again a regressive notion.

i like your analogy of RK being the new god.

the fact is i know being an athiest ... no matter how much anyone tries , i find it difficult to believe in god.
if RK is anywhere near me, then madhu's exercise is of no use.
athiesm is like a religion in itself. and i am against anyoen forcing anyone to change his or her religion.
i havent watched OMG but rest assured i dont look like kanji bhai :)

i think deep down RK still beleives in God but feels hurt and betrayed by him so Madhu is doing this as a step of heeling towards him. like his bother described it he is upset with someone who he thought to be a very close friend and now feels betrayed who cant move on with life if you hold resentment against those you were once close to.

I take this plot as for entertainment, I do not want to go in reality check.

@Ashrun - Okay, I can see you would want her to be more respectful towards Rk's choice... still, my opinion is, Madhu is not wrong to bring Ganesha at her home if she wants to. While Madhu has been rather mature in quite some situations, she does have some childish moments and an impulsive nature. [Fooling the persons who came for Trishna's marriage, slapping Rk etc] She is not perfect too.

Madhu is wrong only to the extent that Rk is too.

[On a side note, I thought Madhu could become as rude as Rk ultimately if he kept taunting her etc. Seems like we are not going there though...]

Madhu is not trying to change Rk's views but she is trying to bring back Rk's lost faith in Bappa...
