I think that although the theological issues raised by apple are v interesting, the issue is whether this ' refaithing' will be handled sensitively or with a hammer and wrecking ball. I hope the former, but expect the latter. My problem with this track is that having religious faith is unproblematically considered the normative state of being.

TO me, a child having faith and then losing faith as an adult is more because he has decided to enter a belief system he finds rationally more valid i.e his beliefs as an adult have more merit than the indoctrinated and unexamined faith of childhood.

Whether his adult beliefs have been formed by rational analysis or are a result of a stagnant position/ dogma assumed as a child is, of course, another matter altogether.

My opinion of the faith track is that 'it is just a track'.. Dont expect anything else. It will just show how Madhu and clunky plot restores RK's faith in Bappa.. Nothing more and nothing less.

For an adult what he believes in ultimately is decided by the situation and the circumstances be passes through. An adult's faith, like FQ said, could very well be a product of dogma. That is ultimately decided by each person's situation. And again faith is a gift from God.
