I haven't seen the episode yet. Blame eastern standard time, my laziness to get on YouTube, and my mother's ardent desire to not miss a single episode of "Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain."

will come back after I watch it. :)

Boogz, I enjoyed your view! Amru, your analysis had got me curious. :)

Overall, good episode.
It got boring at times, because certain scenes moved so slowly. But it was necessary for the feel of the show.

I reallly like this show already. Music, storytelling style, all is very 90's bollywood. And isn't it 1991 in the show? The melodrama was excellent though. For those who found to it to be too much, well, I mean, that's the entire feel of the first episode. Its rooted in the melodramatic dialogue and interactions. its what fueled the story and the sequence of events that led Padmini to Mumbai. So, yeah. I found it suited. The promos and the opening credits were Awesome. And they're also proof of the type of 'backdrop', direction and writing had set in place to tell baby M's backstory. My only regret is not getting to see Drashti yet lol

Melodrama works great for the mass, there are picky, joy-hating little cynics like me that don't 😆 There could have been much much simpler back-drops. Something even like a woman working on the sets getting pregnant with a baby girl...I wasn't expecting so much drama so it sort of hit me on the face.

Nahi!!!!!!!
I had this huge paragraph typed up, and then POOF. Gone..

My mom, thankfully, doesn't start watching it until eight. Yeah, the drama is sometimes unrealistic. So I spend my time critiquing the show. Pointing out scenes from other shows, body doubles, bloopers, ect. It's sort of amusing.

I saw. That's terrible! Hopefully, it's fixable.

I know, right. Eventually, my mom just tells me to shut up. 😆
