Part 5

All night, he suffered from nightmares; in the morning the fear of lack of spleep got him paranoid. He was punctual about his sleep timings and when ever it got disturbed, so did his mood. As he made his way to the training ground, he glanced around the field, only to be confronted with the last person he wanted to see. He pretended not to notice the figure approaching him from his left and continued walking. But, as usual, luck wasn't in his favour. He stopped in his tracks when a strong hand got a hold of his left shoulder. Not wanting to turn around, he just continued looking forward. Again, the luck didn't favour him, as the person holding onto his shoulder didn't take the hint; He...Major General Gaur...his senior...his...father or more as the guy who fathered him.

Major General Gaur cleared his throat, waiting for Gunny to explain his distant behavior. This was his, "father's" all time favorite thing...expect explaination without asking for it, so he can cut the explanation off and start with his lecture series. Gunny just stood there, staring straight into the eyes of his childhood tormentor and pretended to not take the hint.

Maj.General Gaur grew impatient as the man in front of him continued to stare into his eyes, without a single display of emotion on his face. This wasn't how the Maj. General was expecting to start his day...he wanted to start his day by having a one-on-one talk with his sons. He wanted to know what was going on in his sons' life. But...they both, Gunny and Rummy, were least interested in seeing him, let alone talking to him.

As the two officers continued to start at each other, in the girls hostel was a girl in her room crying non-stop as her roomate "tried" to comfort her.

Akhriti: If your crying scene is over, can we proceed for our next shot in the training ground?

As Akriti continued to console Vidya, Vidya was moving far away from the world of reality. She just continued crying, thinking of all those past moments. She remembered clearly why she entered KMA, she wanted to know if Gunny and Vansh were the same person. Now, she knew that despite them being two people to the world, they were the same person to her. She hated herself for being so stupid, for believing everything she was told. When she first heard the truth from Gunny's mouth, she didn't feel angry or hurt, instead she just wondered. She wondered if all the romantic moments they spent, her and Gunny, were ever real or truthful. She couldn't help wonder that when Gunny embraced her into his arms, as if to protect her was ever real. But now...now she realized that nothing...nothing was real. She had been betrayed and that too on a day, she got her biggest happiness, atleast that's what she thought.

Flashback
Vidya: You know, you love me, you care about me than why are you acting like this?
Gunny: I...I...look, we have a student-teacher relationship, I can't...I can't be with you.
Vidya: But...
Before she could compete her sentence, Guny who was facing her, now turned his back on her. He didn't want to face her, in fear of revealing his true feelings. Feelings that he has had suppressed for a very long time. Maybe he wouldn't have behaved this way, if...if only she wasn't who she is.
