***Hey, once again thanks for the compliments (and patience!). I am having a tough time, writing how Gunny will finally say the three magical words to Vidya, so if any one has suggestions, please pm me or just post it here. Thanks!***

Vidya: But sir, Vidya really loves you. Please...

Gunny turned around, this time facing Vidya. Deteremined to drive her away, he used the tactic, which he shouldn't have.

Gunny: (smirking) You...you love me right? You know what cadet let me be frank with you, you are not in love with me but your...what's his name...Vansh, right? (looking straight into Vidya's eyes, waiting for a response, but only getting to see Vidya's lowered eyes). This Vansh character is who you're in love with, not me (Vidya looks up in suprise with tears in her eyes, Gunny, upon looking at the tears, felt a certain urge to kick himself. But deciding otherwise, he gathered up all the courage that was left in him and continued). Now, cadet if you'll excuse me, I've got better things to do with my time then waste it on you.

Saying that, Gunny turned around and started to walk in an aimless direction, when he heard her speak to him again.

Vidya: Vidya knows that whatever you just said wasn't true, but Vidya just wants to know that why are you behaving this way?

Gunny was by now starting to get really frustrated.

Back to Present

Gunny was as frustrated at that moment as he was when Vidya kept pestering him about love. His encounter with Major General didn't go very well and top of that Vidya was no where to be seen. He was now standing in front of a batch of cadets, the same batch that Vidya belongs to, but she was no where in sight. But what suprised Gunny the most was that Vidya's friends were unusually silent today as if they were mourning someone's death. The thought of mourning, alerted Gunny, he was scared, scared for himself more than anyone else. Because as others before him have said that in love there are two bodies but only one soul. The expressions of distraught were clearly being reflected on his face, which many other spectators took a keen notice at.

Peter: Sir, are you alright? Your face's expression remind me of an out of tune song. (Gunny took no notice of Peter, and just stood there with the same expressions, looking somewhere beyond the training ground) Sir, hello...(when Peter again didn't get any response from Gunny, he turned towards his friends). Hey, guys, I can see why we are all depressed but what's wrong with Captain Randhawa?

By now, everyone was staring at Gunny, with funny expressions on their face as if they are watching the eight wonder of the world.
