Lavanya calls Kabir Killer-Lover

Prateek dies and his last rites are completed by Trisha. Shaken to the core by Amrita's stance, Kabir tells Varsha that he is hounded by Amrita's "accusing" eyes. He starts to take the blame on himself and tells Varsha that he will stay alive to protect Trisha under every circumstance.

Megan cries to Bobby

Megan talks to Bobby's picture and tells him that their father has forgotten them and lost his memory. She tells him that Prateek has died and she is very happy as he has been killed by Lavanya though she has no proof. Megan smiles as she tells the picture that finally revenge has been taken by their family.

Amrita for "Asthi Visarjan

Trisha tells Kabir that her mother is leaving for the "Asthi visarjan" and he needs to come and see her before that. Kabir rushes home and tells Amrita that she can't go alone for the visarjan and needs to carry someone along. Kabir is about to rationalize with Gaurav that his safety is an issue and he shouldn't travel, but before he can say anything Amrita says Trisha is unwell and Gaurav needs to take care of the business.

Trisha intervenes but before she can complete her sentence Kabir takes over and tells her that he will send two officers with Amrita and asks for her flight details. Trisha leaves to pack her clothes and Kabir bids a goodbye to Amrita. Before he can walk off, Amrita tells him that she is petrified for her daughter's safety. He tells her that as long as he is alive he will protect her. Amrita stares at him with limpid eyes and thanks him profusely.

Kushan sent home

Seeing his colleague play with electric wires Kabir realizes that the main mistake he is making is keeping the live wires "Kushan and Lavanya" apart. He goes to the doctor and gets the go ahead signal to send Kushan home. The doctor tells him that the only reason for Kushan's violence is Prateek and now that the latter is out of the scene, he is improving fast and stabilizing mentally.

Vivan comes to see Megan and asks her if she cares for him. He asks her for money desperately but Megan tells him that he will once again be sucked into the "drug rut". Vivan refuses to budge and Megan gives him some money hesitatingly. Lavanya gets a call from Gaurav who tells her that he has cancelled a meeting with a client. Lavanya snaps back that Prateek's death is a huge loss but they run an empire that demands attention. She insists that their reputation and standing is important and she will handle the meeting.

Kabir comes and sees Trisha sit on the top of a mountain staring at the skies and asks her to get out of the sympathy mode. He tells her about his daughter and tells her that she is a very strong girl and he is very proud of her. Promising to stand by her always, he smiles at her. Trisha asks him if he sees his own daughter in her and holds his hand.

Sanali acts the mean woman

Sonali tries to brainwash Gaurav into holding the reins of the company in his hands and tells him that he is a laid back person and not an achiever, contrary to her. Gaurav walks out of the room when she announces that she will fight for her rights whatever. The board members come and tell Lavanya, Gaurav and Sonali that their company is losing hold because of the traumas the family is going through.

Lavanya promises to find a way out and Sonali says that they need to rope in Amrita as she is the rightful owner of Swaika Industries. Seeing the board members give their nod to this, Lavanya purses her lips and says that Amrita is busy doing Prateek's last rites. She tells the people that they need to act right away but before she can confirm anything Sonali says that they need to search for the next CEO pronto.

Lavanya lashes out at Sonali, Kabir

Before leaving Lavanya warns Sonali to be very careful and stop playing games with her. She turns around and sees Kabir. Jesting he tells her that she is his top suspect but Lavanya tells him he marches the wrong path. Lavanya warns him not to cross paths with her and enter her list of hated people.

She threatens him and says that she is aware of the dark secrets of his life and she will expose him. He looks on shocked as Lavanya tells Kabir that Prateek Swaika was killed by him because he is in love with Amrita and that's the reason why Prateek's killer will get off scot-free forever.

Kabir yells out and Lavanya tells him not to forget that she is Lavanya Grewal. Kabir rushes off and tells Varsha about the whole story. He gets a call from his colleague telling him that Kushan has been freed. Kushan comes back home and Lavanya gives a whoop of joy and touches his face tenderly.

Kabir comes at the same time and tells her that he knows his physical, professional, personal limitations. Telling Lavanya that his name is Kabir Rana, he tells her that he will not let his enemies stand on their feet and he will swipe her away if she meddles with his personal life.

Sonali also smiles at the connection insinuated by Lavanya and yells at his wife telling her not to make two and two together. Trisha enters the room and asks everyone about Kabir. Sonali tells her that Kabir's intention and priorities are different and he may not be coming over to see her. Trisha tells them that Amrita will be returning the day after and Sonali hints Trisha that Amrita is taken great care of by Kabir. Before stamping off from the room, Gaurav yells at Sonali and calls her a sick and disgusting woman.
