Amrita is just stupid. She support prateek and argue with kabir who always support her.

also, amrita is stupid because she thinks her daughter is free from doing bad onto others

and she is stupid because she dont know how to raise her daughter,

and she is stupid because she encourages misbehaviour and laughs at her daughters disruptiveness in school lessons

but she is stupid most of all because she thinks she knows better!!!

Amrita is a flat, one-dimensional character in the midst of much more complex, interesting, layered characters!

Shes Mrs. Goody Two shoes, the archetypal Always forgiving, sacrificing and suffering heroine! Mahaanta ka Bhoot savaar hai! 🥱

Even after Prateek treated her like dirt, shes defending him so vociferously like a typical Pativrata Bharatiya Naari! 😔

Any wife in her place would have left the house or stopped talking to him.

Strange thing was her reaction on seeing those pics of Trisha tied up and suffering at the hands of the kidnappers...Amrita's reaction was very low key, I had expected her to break down and cry...but she was shockingly calm and more occupied in arguing with Kabir abt Prateek's innocence??.😕

Oh God... seeing such a stupid "all the time" pati vrata and sanskari wife makes me throw up...

May be Prateek is not the culprit but why on earth is he hiding then? His image is already spoiled.. so even if he spends a day or two in prison until things get clearer, what's the big deal...

Amrita being stupid is a known issue. I hope Alok Nath comes and gives her some blessings for being such a boli naari.

Prateek can suspect everyone else in family but not the one who has current "access" to all his private "parts"... Is he really that stupid to break his head to think who it could be when he can be smart in everything else he did to put people down at the right time.

Does Amrita think she is clever in saying " we have answered all your questions " when press asks "where is Pratik?"... I am sure the Spanish version didnt have such a weak housewife character... For one time, please show a woman being bold and supporting the law and not the "sanskaar"...makes my blood boil...

I completely agree, I know where you're coming from, such 'boli' characters make me want to puke too! Sickeningly cheesy and insincere and loaded with hypocrisy,

and fools like the cvs celebrate such pretentious one-dimensional underdeveloped characterless characters, honestly..people can be so delusional and thick-headed, characters like amrita are too pre-determined and precious to the cvs that there is no capacity for introducing what would be interesting deviations from that image that could show them in even an iota of negativity, God forbid🤢

I so agree, I find it overly corny and contrived regarding Amrita devi, ms perfect, and i hate how they are justifying trishas character only so that it doesnt taint on devi Amrita, because shes just incapable of doing any wrong!!!, just because Amy isnt cunning doesnt mean she cant do harm. Her harm is in leaving the maid to take care of sanya in her absence and her harm is in pampering the idiot trisha, which is indubitable considering trishas careless behavior onto others, from her behavior to the teacher and certain kids whom she looked down upon including meghan.

Trisha herself is a very nasty person. Shes a typical spoilt rich kid, a mean, arrogant, bullying, promiscuous, dishonest and unpleasant character! She takes after her dad and aunt Lavanya. Shes a typical Swaika!

Thats why its so hard to feel pity for her inspite of her plight at the hands of the kidnappers. Somehow I feel that she deserves all that since she didnt trust the right person and tried to play with her family's emotions by running away in the first place.

She is unpleasant, but lavanya has a likeability to her despite inclinations to screw up her relationships
But for her likeness to Prateek she is otherwise a bit more in sense, its kind of understandable why she is going mad though

Trisha on the otherhand seems nasty, and Prateek isnt only one to blame, amrita too had a say but she just allowed these to happen, her reaction in laughing at trisha misbehavior in school still baffles me.Some mother she is.

Both Lavanya and Prateek are promiscuous so Trisha takes after them, shes a typical Swaika.

And as Lavanya and Prateek always taunt Amrita as middle class, its clear she belonged to middle class and Prateek married beneath his social status.

Amrita has middle class morality and values and she tried to instil these in Trisha but as Trisha wrote in her diary, Lavanya Bua and her Papa encouraged her to be a Swaika and do whatever she pleased.

So we cant really blame Amrita for how Trisha turned out.

Trisha hid all her secrets from Amrita. Many mothers are like Amrita, they think their daughter is a perfect innocent angel but in reality the girl might be a lying, tricking, mean, promiscuous girl whose truth shocks the mother when she finds out.

Its only now after being tricked and kidnapped by the person she trusted, now Trisha is all repentant and longing to be reunited with her mom...she realized too late who was her real well wisher!
