Who should cliff off
It's as if the world doesn't miss a chance to remind him of the betrayal or "what a fool he is" (not that he is). But see, this the thing....of course, it is uncomfortable for him to hear that, of course, he is going to react. I guess it's just that he's again equating things that should not be equated -- that Naku's hidden truth means "goodness"/ being a good person is an untrustworthy thing, just as he thought beauty is not worthy of trust.Originally posted by: shilpita87
Very well said..he never gave him a chance to be a good man for himself..it was always for nakku and since now he feels that his nakku has betrayed him..he feels that his goodness has gone to drains too..as seen today...he feels that his falling in love was a mistake,a weakness that is used as a joke by the people..this feeling is further making him angry with himself, nakku and the world too.

Its almost like Naku took him up the hill and just before he hit the crescendo, he came hurtling down again. Last time, Naku held his hand and helped him up the hill, so he had support. Now that he is back to the base of the mountain, he needs to climb that hill himself.
The difference now, I think is that Naku should be waiting at the top, waiting for him to come to her. Hopefully all her thoughts and actions will act as the pulley to help Dutta get up to the top. Once they are there, going downhill is easy, in love :)

Parul..........This time I am totally with you especially the last part you said..........
HE HAS IT IN HIMSELF................But,his surroundings, circumstances, the path he chose & not to forget "Kala, the Great"....has made him to think that "HE is a Bad Guy" & he wants to prove to everyone that through his actions.................His Anger is something which some people cant handle & he knows it.So,he is making it as his weapon to prove himself the world that "He ia Bad"..............As in this case,Nakku knows "Her saab is Devmaanush"..............She knows he has it in himself which he denies to BElieve & She showed him that he is also human...............She supported him in Anna's Den...Before that ,he did even realise Nakku is his "True Love"........But,when Jagtaap pushed Dutta, then he realised as he has done always..........His becoming Don is also the push he got from the Pain & Hurt he got from his first Love...............Nakku once said when Dutta asked her "What did she see in him?"..........He wanted to know what he is in her eyes....So that he can recognise himself.......as he trusted Nakku that whatever she does she does the "truth" & "Right"...........When she said ,"Aapka dil achcha hain........aap hamesha doosron ki bhalaayi sochte ho".........Then,he actually felt good & started being good or he himself got satisfied that he is not xactly "The Bad"..............Now,when his trust has been butchered by his own people..........He is confused ,hurt & show them he has not changed & he is the same Dutta ..."The Bad" one............Now,Nakku should agin prove herself first & get his trust on her back to show him that "He is indeed good"...................When he once starts trusting Nakku......He himself will come out of his "I am The Bad Guy" waala theory......................Hope I made some sense...............
Hi all,
I promise this topic will not be as big a doozy as the last one.š Infinitely less controversial, yet something I'm curious to get your thoughts on.So it seems Dutta is reverting back to his fall-back/basic instincts, with the "betrayal" by Naku, AS, Baji, the people he most trusted in the world. He's likely very disgusted with them, the world in general, his fate, and God.We talked a long time ago about the nature of Dutta's change. How Naku was changing him (as even Dutta admits ) from animal to insaan with her nurturing, patience, and love.It is true that Naku inspired him, gave him hope of being someone else, someone better. He was a deeply unhappy and torn man, and he was too scared to open the door to the very thing that could help him (love, giving a woman a chance with his heart), but unfortunately, hurt him too.It is equally true that people and situations bring out changes in us, by inspiring us or by showing us a side to things we never knew, or by dragging us along whether we want to or not.I've always felt Dutta's "reform" was precarious (there was even a post a long time ago about changing for yourself vs. others), and so, like many of you, I'm not surprised to hear about what happened today (precap). It seems his actions against this Don (whether precipitated or not by the Don's own words) is as much a manifestation of his need to show Naku, AS, Baji, everyone "look at what you've done" as it is of his rage at everyone and everything that has hurt him again. He wants to hurt everyone, and in so doing, hurt the people that hurt him...show them that he does not need them and how their betrayal wounded him so deeply. You think that is a fair assessment?Getting back to the" precarious" reform I mentioned above, I always felt Dutta hung his hat, pinned all his hopes on Naku. That SHE ALONE can make him insaan, give him the chance at happiness. That HE WAS GOOD BECAUSE OF HER. It's basic human nature to do so, and I can't and won't criticize it as a result. But I always felt he forgot that he was turning good because HE HIMSELF had it in him -- the desire, the willpower -- to become that better person. Naku had shown him what things would look like and how much better life would be by being less angry and vengeful. Yet, it hinged all on Naku...and I think that is where you get the EXTREME NATURE of his resurfacing anger. Look, of course, he is angry...who wouldn't be? Particularly with his history. But I wonder: if he was more focused on himself, recognizing himself as a person who is good (versus is good by association), believing it was right to be that kind of person, and doing it for himself, if perhaps his reaction would not have been so severe? That he could have been more understanding of the "betrayal".Any thoughts on this?
