Part 5

Baaji is sitting on the hospital bench with his head on dutta's shoulder. He has a flashback of the accident and he cries silently. Nakku is sitting on the other side of Dutta, her head leaning back against the wall while she prays in her heart. Dutta's phone rings and he picks it up reluctantly.

Dutta: Hello

Karan *on the other side*: Aree yaar dutta.. where are you and baaji? He was talking to me earlier but he cut the phone without even listening to me. (he was the one on the phone to baaji when sana got hit by the car).

Dutta: hmm haan.. woh actually hum log hospital main hain.

Karan: KYA? Kya hua tum dono ko?

Dutta: Nahin humein Nahin.. zarasal Sana ka accident hua hain aur woh ICU main hain.

Karan cuts the phone without saying anything. He tries to register what Dutta just said to him and holds the wall for support. Karan stands there shocked for a bit and then gather some courage he runs to his car.

Doctor comes out with a sorry-to-disappoint-face and stands infront of TaSha and Baaji. All 3 stands up and looks at the doctor.

Baaji: doctor.. kuch to boliye.. kya hua? Sana theek to hain na?

Doctor: Dekhiye.. humne poori koshish ki.. but she's critical. We can't say anything for the next 24 hours. If she regain conscious with that time then we will be able to save her overwise...

Baaji: DOCTOR! I don't care.. Do ANYTHING.. just save her. Don't worry about money. Just save her.

Doctor: we are trying our best. Excuse me.

Doctor leaves and baaji stands there crying. Dutta hugs him and consoles him. Nakku sits down in shock and can't believe her ears. Baaji sees Nakku crying in a corner and goes to her. They look at each other with teary eyes and hug.

A nurse comes and tells them they can meet Sana. Baaji runs inside, Nakku follows and dutta waits outside. Baaji sits on the side and cries looking at her in that state. Nakku couldn't even go near her, she ran out crying and went to the garden behind the hospital. Seeing her going alone dutta followed her just in case something happened (already protective lol).

Just as baaji was about to hold Sana's hand, Karan comes barging in the room and runs to Sana's side (the other side ofcourse), He embrace her face lovingly and cries. Baaji is taken aback to what he was seeing.

Karan *to unconscious Sana*: Yeh kya hogaya.. Sana... Utho.. I know i fight a lot with you but that doesn't mean you have to leave. Im sorry. Please utho..

Baaji clench his fist and looks at Karan stunned. Baaji moves back and leaves the room while Karan is holding Sana's hand. Baaji runs out the hospital and returns to campus. He gets to his room and stares at it as if something is missing. He looks at his wall and sees pictures of him, Sana and Nakku. Baaji lightly runs his fingers on Sana's picture while tears pouring out his eyes.

"Eeyyy Baaaji" someone said... Baaji turns to find his alter ego looking at him smilingly in the mirror.

Baaji was taken aback seeing himself and then looks away. The alter ego smiles and continues.

Ego: Kya hua? Mujhe jalan ki boo araha hain.

Baaji: eyy chup kar

Ego: Aankhen kholo baaji.. Pyaar ko pehchano...

Baaji: main kissi se pyar vyar Nahin karta..

Ego: Acha? So why did you not like it when Karan held her hand? WHY?

Baaji: because she's my best friend

Ego: Nakku is your best friend as well. Bhao picked her up. How come you didn't feel anything then?

Baaji is stunned and looks at his alter ego with tears in his eyes.

Ego: You love her don't you?

Baaji: No

Ego: Admit it, you love her

Baaji: no i don't she's...

Ego: Your best friend... But you love her

Baaji: no i don't

Ego: Why are you being a coward? If you love her then accept it.. Admit it. You LOVE her. YOU REALLY LOVE HER.. YOU CAN'T LEAVE WITHOUT HER. YOU LOVE HER.

Baaji holds his ears trying to stop the words from echoing in his ears but in vain. He breaks down on his knees and shouts "HAAN HAAN HAAN... PYAR KARTA HOON... KARTA HOON PYAR... BOHUT PYAR KARTA HOON."... He looks up crying and sees the alter ego smiling happily at him.

Ego: kyun ho gaya na pyar..

Baaji: haan hogaya pyar... today i found out what importance she holds in my life. Seeing her like this, my heart stopped beating for a second.

Ego: then why are you here? Go to her, be with her. She needs you right now. Go.

Baaji wipes his tears and when he looks up his alter ego is gone. He runs back to hospital.

Nakku is sitting on a bench outside the hospital in a garden and crying. Dutta sits next to her and hesitates to put his hand on her shoulder but the he does. Nakku turns around and they share an eyelock for a few seconds. Dutta wipes her tears and Nakku looks on.

Dutta: log kehte hain ke aansoon keemti hote hain. Don't waste it. I'm sure Sana will be fine.

Nakku: kaise? She's critical.

Dutta: If you lose hope then who will handle baaji?

Nakku: You're right. I can't lose hope.

Dutta: that's more like it. Common let's go back it.

They both stand up and Nakku wipes her tears and they go back inside. Karan is sitting outside the room in the corridor because doctor told him to leave the patient alone. Baaji comes running there and goes inside the room without looking at Karan. Karan stands up and is confused. Baaji sits on the chair next to the bed and holds Sana's hand. For a few minutes he rests his head on her hand and cries then he gather some courage to talk. Baaji looks up at her and caresses her forehead with one hand and holding onto her hand with the other.

Baaji: Sana.. mujhe maaf kardo.. Please..You can punish me as much as you want but please come back... I will do anything you want me to do. We will go eat ice cream and watch movies late at night. I will take you anywhere you want and i will protect you from everything but please come back. Please please *sobs* I will never leave your side again.

Dutta, Nakku and Karan watch him through the door and they are all shocked. Nakku smiles and realise that baaji also loves Sana as much as she loves him. She looks at Dutta happily and Dutta smiles as well realising his little brother fell in love. Karan is stunned and shocked to realise that Baaji loves Sana. He turns around facing the other way and closes his eyes. A tear falls down his cheeks and he walks off. Dutta looks at karan walking away thinking what's wrong with him. But he lets go of the thought and looks at baaji.

Nakku sits down on the bench just outside the room and Dutta sits next to her. Nakku is still wearing Dutta's jacket and she's feeling cold. Nakku notice that she's trembling and she isn't comfortable with her ripped clothes.

Dutta: Nakku?

Nakku: haan

Dutta: Lets go back to campus so you can change your clothes, then we can come back

Nakku: I'm fine.

Dutta: No your not. Your shivering and your clothes is ripped. Common lets go.

Nakku: Okay. Wait Let me inform baaji.

Dutta: Okay, Tell him, i will be waiting outside in the car.

Nakku: Okay *Dutta walks off and Nakku goes in the room*

......

Dutta parks the car. TaSha gets out and Nakku makes her way to her room. She turns and smiles to Dutta. He gives her an assuring smile and she goes. After a little while Nakku comes back in a black shalwar kameez and Dutta is mesmerized by her beauty. They have an eyelock for a few minutes and then Dutta looks around quite embarrassed. Nakku hands him his jacket and thanks him. Dutta smile and looks idhar udhar again. He opens the door for Nakku and she sits in the car. Dutta then gets in and they return to hospital.

Baaji is still holding Sana's hand and his head on the bed resting as his head is feeling heavy. Suddenly Sana squeeze his hand, Baaji looks at her shocked and happy. He runs out the room calling for a doctor. Doctor comes running and tells baaji to wait outside. Just then TaSha comes back and sees the doctor going in the room.

Nakku: baaji? What's happening?

Baaji: woh Nisha ne mera haath pakra.. zor se..

Nakku: kya? Yeh to acchi baat hain

Baaji: haan.. she will be ok na?

Nakku: haan.. don't worry

.....

After a little while, the doctor comes back with a sign of relief and smiles at the trio. All 3 stands up and look at him waiting for an answer.

Doctor: gabrane ki zaroorat Nahin hain.. ab woh khatre se bahar hain.

Baaji: kya??? *hugs the doctor*

Nakku and dutta turns to each other about to hug but stops midway. They both a bit embarrassed and looks down. Baaji then hugs Nakku and dutta together pulling them close to each other.*Love story instrumental in the background* Nakku could feel dutta's breath on her face and it was hard to avoid. She wanted to pull him closer and kiss him and she tried so hard not to. Dutta could feel nakku's warm breath on his chest even though he was wearing a shirt, he breath was piercing through and touching his heart. He wanted pull her aside where no one was and be with her, hold her and kiss her passionately. Baaji then lets go of them and they both come back to their sense. Dutta looks at Nakku who went red and hot. Nakku didn't meet his gaze and kept her eyes on the floor.

Hey Sophie thanx for the update and PM🤗So seeing karan concern for sana and he holding her hand....made baaji jealous....finally baaji"s elter ego made him realize that he is love with sana....wow can"t ...i loved it yaar.....dutta and naku are slowly falling for each other....well that is bound to happen ..how cannot they fall in love they are made for each other......can"t wait for more romance btw these 2 couples....iam feeling sad for karan ...but iam sure u will introduce some one for him...precap looks interesting.........U Made An ERROR U WROTE Nisha...instead of Sana...in someplaces . correct it 😆......pls update soon....thanx for the wonderful update ..take care and see ya around 👏👍🏼🤗
