About that back story of that island where Dutta had accidentally landed 7yrs ago...its important as it has something that Yogimama wants even afterall these years and olny Dutta knows where it is and what it is.

wait till u read next parts as the story is coming to its climax now...i am glad u liked harsh and shammi ,waqis and friends and hated roxy and chinna and yogi..since they are the characters totally cooked up by me and that was teh impressions they should leave behind in readers' mind.

i guess by ch60 we can have a closure to this one and i can totally focus on Imperfect perfections...and maybe after that i'll start another FF. or maybe just short stories...but that's then..this is now..i am in a hurry to finish this one.

It is one of the best chapters of Ek thi..many moments here bring a smile or a tear in one's eyes while reading it. It's sad that AS does not believe Dutta is innocent and still needs him to convey his innocence in words before she will believe him! Whereas his sister whom he has known only for a few months trusts him and believes in him..but very true to character too from what I have seen of AS so far! AS is so blind that she still cannot understand the change in Dutta.. I think she is turning a blind eye to facts that say dutta is very much a changed man as Madhu also says! But thankfully, she at least wants him to know that Naku is in labour..for the first time, I see Waqis a bit lost and here you do clear it up for all readers that all that has happened to trick the police was a well thought out plan by Dutta..and Waqis was just implementing it.. now suddenly on his own, he is at a loss on what he needs to do!

If Naku is in agony in sheer pain, then Dutta is in agony that he is not beside her when it matters..the pain he goes thru is so palpable..at least he has Baaji with him..but he is going to be so guilty that he was not there holding her hands..

I really liked the way you described his wails and temper! Hmm..chip of the old block! Your choice of words here is excellent esp the indignation to leave his safe haven n be born! Oh ho, she refuses to see her son's face.. gosg, it is such a bittersweet situation..she has always dreamt of holding her baby with him and cannot bring herself to do it alone.. plus he has the belief that he will come..

The way you described the way in which Morey was captured and brought to the others was just unbelievably good. At one end of the update, we have such sweet moments and on the other end are the cold, dark moments with the gangsters.. both written with such great aplomb! You have turned the tables here how Morey once deemed powerful and slimy which he still is, has been over powered by these other two characters! Morey has had to meekly give in! the way he tries to get more out of the deal and is shown is plce was great tor ead.. though it seems like one helluva web these guys seem to have spread for Dutta..OMG, cant even imagine them getting their dirty grimy hands on lil baby.. pls aisa math hone dena..oooh, he is such a sweet bundle..D-N will be gutted if that happened..but have to say that this whole part of M-Yogi etc meeting has been written exceptionally well Rimpi.. hats off.. as a reader you get into their psyche and can understand and feel the atmosphere when they meet and talk..

Now.. a bit AAAWWW.. I loved the first line Dutta has to say esp about that shart! That was so so so nice..you remember everything so well even though this FF has been running for so long..the way he tucks that lil hand back in the folds of the cloth not allowed made Naku weepy, but me too..you know what a sucker I am for such scees and this was just superb..the gruff, angry, boiling Dutta Patil melting into a puddle with his lil bundle..i absolutely could see that scene, not just read it.. I could so totally see MR-MV do this scene..esp MR's eyes when he would have held that baby..the dialogues are so apt too, esp the way he apologies and she shushes him.. AAwww.. I was seriously gone when he hands her the baby.. just as she has always wanted it to happen..just the three of them..and the way he wipes off her tear with his calloused hands.. AAAWww.. and he wants a gudiya now.. hehehe..and ahem he reminds her of all those moments..how can I forget that neem neem shahhed shahed song and the aftermath..;-P..

You have described the baby's snack time so purely too..divine..his every lil expression, his finger holding Dutta's finger and his bleue eyes.. everything was just magic..and he wails when they squish him hugginge ach other hahahah.. and you are a genius as u incorporated the mad lady's curse scene here and Dutta remembering it at that moment!

OMG, the name picking was hilarious..Naku bhi na, she must have exhausted all the names of the God, and D's repartee esp of Baaji, sethji and of Ganpath was just so funny! LOL But in the end what a name u chose.. I was totally gobsmacked! I never even thought that removing that 'h' from Mishaal woiuld also create such a beautiful name that truly symbolises their love..Misaal..could not have been a more apt name than this..you managed to incorporate Mishal somehow in this and it is beautiful!

Baaji's entry was raapchik! Totally flooring Hursh and sweeping him off their lives! Naku was scared for Hursh. Silly girl!! Baaji was too emotional even though he tries to cover up with his masti esp the line Bhau tu to baba ban gaya!!! It is such a huge milestone in his life too, as he has another relation in his life now.. someone else who will look up to him for guidance and someone whom he will love and cherish and protect just as he has done for Dutta..and they are aware of the lurking fangers and want max security for the prince..

Silently he bids them adieu though his heart would never leave them, na? I truly truly loved this part Rimpi, but have so much irritating work that I wish I could comment in more leisure, but this episode had everything that symbolises Ek thi,..drama, suspense, love, tears, happiness,, villain, hero..sub kuch tha in this one small chapter! But all in right proportions and jus hitting the right note too.. I am surely going to read this again and again esp the part when D comes to meet N and the baby..awesome!
