wow.. what can i say? really thrilling episode.. saw Dutta the bhao in full form after all!! everything was crisp and to the point..
Hursh is beyond me.. but i think now after this chapter we will get to see a turning point in his character.. all along he has had this burning single minded ambition to bring D to justice.. the commissioner is right that somehwre the line between duty and getting pesonal got blurred for Hursh as he was treading into personal enimity territory..and baaji with hi witty scathing comments doesnt help the cause! u know i was reading about the plight of the kidnapped sailors and how their families have resorted to begging to raise funds and i remembered u ... u have again introduced the plot of kidnapping.. sach bolloon toh mujhe yeh FF kam, screenplay/script of a movie nazar aane lagi hai..
kalawati brooding was vintage stuff again.. all the venom in her head.. all her thoughts and dialogues were so crisp and apt..though i was ROFL laughing reading her comment on how Roops could not even seduce Baaji..but what a sick lady that she will stoop to use her own blood for any of her motives..but then that is kala.. she has been saying D is saap etc, but asliyat mein she is the nagin who wants to wipe out the happiness of the family..she is so immersed in her own vengeance that she cannot see beyond her own motives and what untold unhappiness will unfold if anything happened to Misaal..BTW, the way Misaal scrutinsed their faces and then yelled reminded me of Tin!!
AS is maintaining her pendulum status.. hey bhagwan, when will this lady ever have a fiorm stand.. maybe never .. as she is a mum.. she turned her face on Dutta when her daughter was weeping, but now with her grandson in her lap, she is ready to wait until the court decides! truly in chracter..but then that also signifies that she is willing to forgive and forget and is not rigid like kala..she has seen enough bloodshed and sadness and sees Misaal as a ray of hope for a happier brighter future..and she is clutching onto that ray of hope with renewed vigour and faith ki sab accha hoga..
gosh.. finally malmal-kala have shaken hands.. chalo donon ka anth ek saath ho jayega! BTW, i could just see Aashka as Kala mouthing those dialogues looking in the mirror.. have to say those dialogues are right on target keeping her character in mind
Grr.. Dutta brought out like some sort of terrorist dog chained like that.. Grrr.. aaaw, what a cute cute scene to hear baaji whistle Mein hoon don.. hilarious.. Hursh ka BP aur high ho gaya haoga na...hahaha.. wow, loved the way the minister met D.. waise these guys will bend before anyone for their work to be done.. but i could see Dutta the don but Dutta the dad too when the minister talks about him being a dad.. even though he is such a state, just the meree mention of hi s son's name, brings him calm and peace! wow, that marathi letter in code language was awesome..and better still they all understood the mehmaan was only D!! see this is why i call this an epic FF.. the way u mention Kans mama and Mahatey in the same line makes this FF one of a kind.. in my humble opinion, this is the only FF here which has remained true to the old original LTL in every step of its way :)
kya scene.. all 3 on that vessel, with beer in hand, looking into the sunset.. sirf Hursh is boiling!! i liked how Dutta sends off Baaji as Baaji would have done his usual commentary or his acidic remarks which would never have given D to start this chat with Hursh.. i liked how he said they have no choice but to meet half way .. he is being v practical though Hursh is anything but thta!
i honestly am gobsmacked with the amount of such high voltage stuff you have written.. we were so lulled by the romantic side of your writing in your otehr ff's, this part comes as a bit of a shocker.. here u talk typical don language, their lives, how drugs is smuggled, how the common man is used.. it was spine chilling reading that now a days a hired assasin is more expensive so get someone addicted top drugs and for that short time of immunity from pain they get, they are willing to do anything for you.. everything is so true what u have said here.. honestly i did not feel shocked reading Hursh's naive questions as i felt he was speaking on my behalf..and then u mention briefly of the biggest smuggler Dawood and how mama always wanted to achieve his position..it was like i was drawn into a journey of the murky ways of dealing in the underworld..how Mumbai has changed in last few decades..it is very interestingly posied.. with some more backstory to show how finally mama sheds his fake intentions and shows his true colours and of course the murders.. well, as the minister said, D would remain in prison just cos he wanted to b there.. same goes for the murder.. why would he commit something like this stupidly for everyone to see the bodies rather than disposing it off if that was what he wanted? but then how will he find out who killed them?!
it was an absolute thriller to watch.. i liked how when D came to meet Misaal, that chapter was sort of dedicated to D the dad and today we saw the bhau back :)
