- As soon as Dutta entered the garage and heard that "laughter" he KNEW it was hers. He was confused at first as to what her voice was doing in the garage, then came denial (where he was trying to convince himself it was hers) and finally, came dread (of what he might find and how it might affect him). That's when he lowered his eyes (as if trying to avoid looking at the source of that noise for as long as he could) and took a step forward
- Did anyone else notice the hesitation in Dutta's movement as he stopped for a minute too long before he looked up? He really really didn't want it to be true.
- Um, so... a car? Seriously? The pedophile Seth couldn't find a more "comfortable" place to lounge on? Not to mention a less disgusting position? That was gross on so many levels! *gag* 🤢
- Dutta's initial response to the "sight" (i.e. the Seth and the girl getting "comfy" on the car's top) was disbelief. And it lasted for maybe a split second before being enveloped by pain. Immense pain. I don't know if it was just me, but I saw his eyes glisten - not from tears but from pain.
- Wow... Trying to "sit up" on that car looked like such a tough feat for the pedophile Seth. 🤣
- O.M.G. Omggg! OMG! The Seth has the AUDACITY to hold her close as Dutta screams in pain?! SERIOUSLY??!?!?!? Am I too demented to want Dutta to break both of his arms first? That's like a kick below the belt - not only was he back stabbing the guy, he was PROUD of it too?! I HATE OBNOXIOUS, ARROGANT JERKS! 🤬
- As Dutta comes raging towards the Seth, what does the pedophile do? He smiles... Seriously? He is enjoying this? I really DO NOT like this guy. I want him to feel immense pain - and I totally realize how violent that sounds but I DO NOT like the guy! 😡
- Dutta beating up the pedophile... I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. (And it was not just because of how Dutta looked! 😆)
- Up until Dutta was beating up the Seth, he looked enraged. But from the moment that girl opened her mouth and asked him to stop, he looked like he was in pain - a lot of physical pain. Like he'd only just realized that she'd been a part of it too and that realization had ripped his heart right out of his chest. And as she tells him that she'd been there out of her own free will, all his suspicions were confirmed. He looked at her with such accusatory eyes - like he was asking her "WHY?!". Why hadn't she just told him? And WHY had she not realized what he felt and appreciated it? But once she mocked him for "assuming" she'd marry him, it looked like the wind was knocked out of him. She ridiculed him for wanting to marry a girl like her and ridiculed his hard work - I honestly saw Dutta's disbelief at the words coming out of her mouth. He first been surprised at finding her there, then he'd been surprised when she told him she was there out of her own free will and just when he thought nothing could surprise him, he heard her speak about (and crush) his hopes and his innocent dreams. BUT he still tries - tries to make her see the truth, to make her understand how much he cares because he felt that if he tried a little bit harder, just a little bit harder, that she'd understand. He tried to show her how much he loved her by showing her what he expected would be a symbol of their commitment and love. And what did she do? She took a brutal swing at his heart with the proverbial sword of "money". She didn't care about his love if he didn't have money to support it. He was never going to be good enough. With that, he withdrew his hand from his pocket - there nothing in there that would be "understood" by her. And after THAT, with every word he had no more questions, nothing to say. He KNEW who she was. He could see her - all of her, for what she was, for what she REALLY was. And that is when I saw Dutta close up - THAT was when Dutta shut himself to the world. With every word that came out of her mouth, he fortified himself. Trying to stop her words to get in, but failing (that's when he touched and later tightened his grip on his pocket). He didn't get angry, he didn't argue - he just listened to her speak, because he knew she was finally speaking the truth.
- I have a question though - how stupid do you have to be to be proud of being with a girl who's just openly claimed that she's with you for the money? Because that's how STUPID I think the pedophile Seth is. 🤬
- The subtle smile that played across Dutta's lips before he asked her if she ever loved him - it was like he was laughing at himself for even ASKING the question, but at the same time knew he wasn't going to stop. And as he asked her if she'd ever loved him - there has never been a more heartbreaking rhetorical question. He KNEW the answer, but he had to ask it - had to HEAR it for himself to really understand. And when she made him "understand" that she had now "shifted" her love from him to the Seth, Dutta's subtle nod was a sign that he'd heard what he'd expected to hear. And after that, there as an eerie lack of emotion on Dutta's face - almost like nothing hurt OR it hurt too much to matter anymore. He didn't look enraged to me, didn't look hurt, didn't look in pain - he just looked like, for the lack of a better term, Dutta Bhao to me.
- Just as she gets ready to leave with the Seth, his hand moves forward almost involuntarily - as if it was his heart's last cry before it stopped.
- Even though Dutta had "fortified" himself from the world, he couldn't stop his eyes from glistening with tears, as they testified to his broken heart. Absolutely heart-breaking...
- Baji's right there with Dutta at the "place". It's really telling how even after being hurt so much and even after closing himself to the world he still wanted to tell Baji what had happened and had wanted him around. They really do share a special bond.
- NOW Dutta's angry! It was like her betrayal had finally festered in his brain long enough to make him bitter - now he was overcome with hatred.
- I LOVED how Dutta had a sarcastic smile pass over his face as he looked at the ring he'd bought for her - as though he was thinking "I was such an idiot!". It was an absolute contrast to when he'd looked at the same ring earlier in the day - absolutely brilliant! 👏
- Someone had told him his feelings and his love wasn't WORTH anything because he didn't have money to support it. Someone he cared for deeply hadn't thought twice before trampling over his heart - and all because he didn't have "money". I am absolutely NOT surprised why he wanted to make money and fast. As though that was the only way to prove to himself (which he thought would help "bury" his pain) and to those that ridiculed him what he was worth.
- When Dutta talked about pain, Baji looked like he was hurting too. And not just hurting for Dutta, he was angry for him too. He wasn't affected by what had happened as much as Dutta had, but he wasn't an impartial by-stander either.
- I wasn't sure what to make of Baji for bringing Dutta to the "underworld" - that was until he told Dutta to turn back before they went in. Makes me think that Baji knew Dutta would have walked on this path with or without his help and that it would be better if at least he'd be around to have his back. I don't think Baji was being irresponsible here - he didn't "introduce" Dutta to the "underworld" - he just made sure that if Dutta was going to step into it, then he'd be around to cover for him. I mean, haven't you ever been there with your friend even if they're doing something bad just because if you weren't there then it probably could be a lot worst? I really think that's what it was here - but I could be wrong... 🤔
- What kind of a wanna-be don is this? Wears shades INDOORS?! Bwaaaahahahahhahahaha!!! OMG! I haven't seen THAT as a statement of "awesomeness" in a long long time. 🤣🤣
- I don't think Dutta realized exactly what he'd be signing up for until he saw the picture and the gun laid out in front of him. I could almost hear it all "click" together in his brain.
- You know, I wasn't sure what to make of Baji encouraging Dutta to pick up the gun or smiling when Dutta did. But then I remembered what I'd seen of Baji since his entry and it made sense - Baji has always been nonchalant about his work. To him, it's always been normal - even when they were at the shore he had a very "easy" vibe around him, especially after Dutta beat up More. There was no sense of urgency and no worry - to him his work is his work and there's nothing that worrying about it would do. It makes me feel that Baji has always "accepted" this line of work - he knew what he was getting into and once Dutta had stepped forward in spite of his warnings, I think Baji accepted it completely. He's lived in a setting where gangs and guns are common - so I can see why he isn't affected by their presence. And now after Dutta had decided to "walk" in the same path, so to speak, Baji wasn't inhibited anymore. At least that's what I think. 🤔
- "Jahan tu, wahan main... Chal." - *sigh* I don't care how conflicted we feel about Baji in the scene before, this one definitely was a heart warming sentence. Baji wasn't going to abandon Dutta - in fact, this makes me feel that Baji's smile and encouragement in the previous scene wasn't just for Dutta alone. It was for the both of them - he wasn't happy because he'd "convinced" Dutta to bear arm. He was happy because he knew no matter what comes they'd take it on together. If he "got" Dutta into it as some might like to argue, then he stayed around to be a part of it (and take the blame) too. I like that. 😊
- I like how Dutta didn't argue with Baji when he said he'd be coming along. Almost like Dutta expected him to come along - that the question was a mere formality. I love how these two know each other so well! 😃
- I like how Dutta's progression through his "first murder" was shown. When he first spots the guy, he hides and really makes sure it's him because he doesn't want to kill someone he doesn't have to. Up until then, he's still checking himself and making sure he doesn't hurt someone he shouldn't. He raises his gun and it's like he's trying to tell himself to "do it" because that would help stop the "noise". But it's still an unimaginable ordeal to kill someone - so his hands shake and as Baji reminds him to shoot, he accidentally fires. After that, it's all about the adrenaline and the chase. After that he didn't have time to "think" - all he was concerned with was catching the guy and shooting him. There was no time to second guess himself or to contemplate what he was about to do. There was just time to "do", so to speak. So when he finally caught up to the guy, he hesitated for but a moment before he pulled the trigger. The first time was the hardest, but after that the next two shots came fairly quickly because now he'd detached himself from the "kill". It wasn't until Baji told him to stop that he realized it was "done". I liked how the whole "journey" was shown - but then I might just be insane so... 😆
- You know, this episode keeps testing my faith in Baji yet each time what he does makes sense to me. Either I'm totally demented and am finding excuses for Baji's behavior - or what I see really is what happens. *sigh* I don't know. But when Baji urged Dutta to "shoot the guy", I almost heard an urgency in it. As though he knew if Dutta failed the penalty would be huge. To me, it felt like he was being protective of Dutta - and not that he was being vicious against the "victim". But that's what I felt. 🤔
- Lol! The don with the shades is back! Indoors, again... 🤣
- Did anyone else notice how "somber" Baji looked as he stood behind Dutta while Dutta handed back the gun. Like now that the initial adrenaline rush had subsided, the reality of the situation was kicking in. And when Dutta was handed over another photograph and the gun, the way Baji reacted - like he didn't approve of going through it again. Makes me feel that how Baji had reacted initially was not a "vicious" decision (like I'd said) but just a "selfish" one (with regards to Dutta).
- The first time Dutta "picked up" the gun, his reaction was a lot more innocent - like he knew it was wrong but he wanted to make money and that was more important. But the second time he was offered the gun, he almost had this "tired" and "helpless" feel to him - like he KNEW just how bad it was but he'd done it once and to him there was no going back. And he wanted the money too, but somehow that seemed to come as an after thought to him. Or so I thought.
- When Dutta disapproved of being invited over of a drink and asked Baji to leave it was like he'd decided that even though he was in the business for the money he wasn't going to make friends. Like he knew that even though he was doing the "bad deed" he didn't want to become a "bad person" too - if that makes any sense... 🤔
- The rest of the "kills" were a lot less inhibited - like by now it was just all in a day's work. Shooting at people and getting shot at was "routine" now. Did I say I love how the creatives pay attention to detail?! LOVE IT! 😃
- I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the fact that Dutta has to shoot someone ONCE for them to die. THANK YOU CREATIVES! I find nothing more hilarious than a guy who still takes on fifty goons after being shot more than once. So thank you for not turning our "hero" or our "villians" into super humans. 😆
- It's taken all afternoon for Dutta to tell Nakku the past - just makes me imagine just how vividly he'd be narrating his past. Usually all the "protagonists" get done with 25-30 years worth of flashbacks in five minutes worth of reel time. Needless to say, I love the attention to detail by the creatives! 😃
- So when making a lot of "money" didn't curb the torment inside him, that's when Dutta decided that he needed to kill the guy to make the pain stop - and this he would do without money! Up until then he'd been determined to make money because he'd believed that it would be enough. But when money didn't fill the "wound" (as it shouldn't have) he decided to fix it the only way he knew now - by killing the guy responsible.
- You know, the shot of Dutta walking in front of the light reminded me of the boat scene where there was a flood light shinning behind him. *sigh* I love that scene. 😍
- WHAT is up with this guy and cars?! SERIOUSLY! I know he owns a garage but really? Can he not afford a room? I don't get it! So gross! 🤢
- So it's raining cats and dogs and someone knocks on your car window in the middle of NO where - what do you do? If you're the pedophile Seth, you ignore it like you would a wandering fly. 🤣
- Okay, I'm going to admit it - when the girl got scared at seeing Dutta on the other side of the glass, I totally screamed "Maar ne aya hai!" to the screen as an answer to her "Maro gai?" question from that night. 😆
- Dutta fighting in the rain... *sigh*... 😍 I swear this man is making me more violent. 😆
- When she was screaming "Dutta tu kya kar raha hai?!", guess what I was doing? Yep, I was screaming "MAR RAHA HAI!". 😆
Lol, sorry for getting too violent there at the end - I just really hate both the Seth and the girl. And plus, I think Dutta Bhao is rubbing off on me like he did on Sethji!
