The famous new face of kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi is Pulkit Samrat who plays the lovable son Lakshya/ Kisna Virani.

Most memorable day - 8 June 2006, the day I was launched in Kyunki…. It's the day my dream materialized!

Your support system - My mother

Favourite destination - My home, in Delhi. Now that I am away from home, I sometimes feel homesick. But I won't complain as I love my job in Mumbai.

Best actoress in Indian television - In Bollywood, I must mention - Rani Mukerjee and on the small screen I like Ratna Pathak and Smrithi Irani.

The director you would want to work with - Everybody from Sanjay Leela Bansali, Ram Gopal Verma, anybody with a good role to offer.

Kind of music you enjoy - Bollywood!

Pulkit was a good looking boy at school, and was very popular with the ladies. The winner of last year's best fresh new face award, Pulkit Samrat better known for his character of Lakshya in Kyunki Saas Kabhi Bhi Bahu Thi is not a very happy man these days. The actor is suffering from back ache and has to go through a lot of ordeal while shooting for the daily. When contacted the actor says, "I have been suffering from back pain for some time. I even went to Dubai to get treated but have not fully recovered. Even on the sets I cannot remain standing for a long time. It's become a problem while shooting long sequences." Talking about his show, the actor adds, "I am thankful to Balaji for giving me a role that has been well received by the audiences. At the moment I cannot think of new projects as my schedule is quite hectic these days." The actor is also worried about his work-out sessions. Adds Pulkit, "Ever since my acupuncture treatment in Dubai, I have been strictly advised to stay away from gymming for some time. Though I miss my work-outs badly, but I guess things would be better soon." With a face that has won him many fans and great histrionic skills, Pulkit is surely one of the most wanted actors in the industry today. We hope that he recovers soon to keep his fans entertained.

I agree with you. he also comes to some site's and find's time to chat with his fans, on diffrent sites. and i can't believe it. wow. i hope his leg, and back ache gets well soon. and again i will say.."God Bless Him"😳😳😳
