I haven't watched KZK but do know some part since most of my friends used to watch it😆. I have also watched KGGK but only Janki devi track. PR I watched only next gen and left after the marriage track. Lol I have watched so many EK show. I was fed up of ITVs afterwards.

i obviously prefer KTH and KZK because i m more inclined towards love triangles.. i am intrigued by the complexity of relationships that they have..

i remember ansh gujral track from KSBKBT.

i watched only a few random episodes of KGGK, kayamath, k street pali hill and kavyanjili..

i have watched only that part of PR when manav and archana met and got married..

i have rewatched only KTH recently.. i cant say anything about other shows in detail however general discussion can be done..

i was also fed up afterwards but ekta stopped making such shows too which she used to make in her golden era..

Lets talk about Gujral track then. Some years ago I again watched some parts of that track again on Hotstar . Karan Nandini was well loved back then. The track had sacrificial drama but it was very well executed. Karan had geniune reasons and it was Nandini who made haste to marry.

I don't think there is any second gen couple as popular as Karan Nandini. I remember watching awards show and most year it was them who always got best jodi awards😆.

After the show EK has tried to use the same formula again and again in almost all her show but it has flopped almost in all other shows. She is literally trying to use the same tracks in KKB and it has literally flopped😵. Also, tulsi was not doormat like todays leads. I miss the female leads from her previous show.

true.. no other 2nd gen couple is as popular as karan nandini.. i think ansh gujral track was the best track of KSBKBT.. i have never seen any other villain as scary as him 😆.. the way he killed vishaal and raped nandini 😱

ekta's recent shows are rubbish.. no intensity at all.. she has lost it.. she badly needs to bring some new writers..

Yeah. Although I had forgotten about Vishal. Is he Shobas husband? He also fooled Tulsi to marry Nandini and until when Tulsi realised it, it was too late.

Now days almost all villains are ladies which is kind of boring. I prefer male villains. Also, triangles with two male leads are better than female triangles in Ekta shows.

in her old shows female vamps were good too.. but i too prefer male villains..

her new shows are dragfest without any head and tail.. there are no character arcs or story.. only random scenes..

ansh gujral was there in KSBKBT for 6 months only and i still remember his track.. similarly piyush was there in KTH only for 8 months and i couldnt forget how good his character arc was..

i searched it.. ansh's track started somewhere around march april and he died in october..

piyush's death was not unexpected for me at all.. i knew he will die.. it was indicated in the show quite a few times.. the actor also knew it from the day 1 that piyush will die.. i read his interview..

Yes, at least Piyush character was untainted thanks to being killed soon. I wish ITV also followed other countries and make the show finite. The story quality would have been much better.

i also think shows should be finite.. when main story gets over, show must end.. dragging and unnecessary tracks just ruin the essence of the show..

in kasturi, ekta brought raunak back from death and made him a villain.. raunak was the 3rd angle in kasturi just like piyush in KTH.. so i think when the character arc is completed, the character must be permanently killed off instead of forcefully turning him into a villain..

i found story boring for a while when piyush died.. that phase was depressing to watch when kashish was mourning him and she was always weeping..

Yeah. I follow lot of shows especifically Japanese. They publish one chapter a week and the story writing is way better and story is very well detailed. Although they are very late. Some stories are as old as 1990 and still ongoing😔. But they remember all the foreshadowing they did some 20 years ago😆. Nagpal doesn't even remember scenes he wrote just few months ago😵

If you compare with the current EK shows I think its a short span.

Yeah. It doesn't make sense for a character to come back. I too don't like such tracks.

Maybe because you liked piyush so it was boring. But for neutral audience like me, i liked it although i too felt bad when he died. He was such a sweet character no one can hate.

Yeah. I also feel the same. Especially Karan in KDB was the worst one. Atleast Kashish had some valid reasons. She was pregnant and lost her husband and when you have such tagedy going on another guy comes and asks for marrige. Anyone would get angry. Also, I if I am not wrong it was Sujal who ask for her hand. She wasn't planning to marry him herself. One thing that they did good was they didn't whitewash Kashish as good characer compared to some recent show where you forget everything. She was a grey character for me till the end. The only show I liked with revenge track in ITVs is EHT. The show also didn't diverge from its original plot form the begining and ended after the storyline was over.
