Donny, to me, not only does taking a bullet NOT mean that nothing you do in the future can be wrong - it also does not make everything else you've ever done automatically right.

And yes, Abhi took that bullet in part because he was accepting responsibility for Pragya as her husband. He did not have any ideas about loving her then. And I don't recall any instance where Abhi has used "I would die for you" or "I took a bullet for you" as a reason for Pragya to be grateful to him. Abhi doesn't think he did anything amazing by taking the bullet, though viewers may think differently.

Also, Abhi being ruthless at MMS time was his own idea. He didn't have anyone to help him, nor did he need it. Interestingly, Abhi being ruthless when he initially married Pragya was VERY resistant. At that time Aaliya was able to manipulate him into going against his own instincts as Daadi is doing to Pragya now. I understand blaming Pragya for not trusting her own instincts and doing what she believes is right. I blame Abhi the exact same way for going along with Aaliya's revenge plan when he demonstrably knew better.

No one asked Pragya to forgive him right away for the MMS thing. Nor MMS was a prolonged torture with no plans. Abhi had a clear plot which worked. Nor did Abhi torture her folks with harsh words. He rather told them all Pragya needs to marry Suresh with whom she has an affair. A somewhat convincing explanation at one level to save her "honor" whatever.

And then he did what he planned, he did not really hurt any third person other than PraSu who were involved in the mess.

IN kidnap, let alone taking the bullet, the fact that he went to the jungle for her says a lot.

If we are measuring everything Abhi did, what has Pragya done for him so far?

Most stuff she did for him before MMS was for the sake of her Maa as she used to claim (if we argue Abhi did everything for Daadi). And then post MMS, I do not recall anything she actually did for him.

And TaBhi baby stuff, ultimately she did it for HERSELF! To fulfill her promise to Tannu, to not have the guilt of coming between a baby and its dad. She did not do it for Abhi at all.

Love and understanding would have been if she understood what Abhi wanted, or understood Abhi's issue in it in general (that he got into this by trick) or understood better to see Tannu is playing him and he is the victim.

And now it more seems to me like she is making up for that TaBhi shipping than helping Abhi out really.

The difference is, Abhi was very quick in responding to what is right. He apologized for Sarla Maa's sweater like day 3 of their wedding. He didn't drink alcohol on PuLiyah engagement as per her request. He did all this despite knowing Pragya is the one hurting his sister.

And in PuLiyah sangeet he tells Aalu he is so done with her plots. During KB hall, he crosses Aalu and helps Pragya and her family out.

All that was his instinct!!

Pragya's instinct is to tell Abhi the truth. While she hasn't done it so far, she hasn't even thought about telling her Maa the truth.

The point is Pragya was still his dushman at that time. He still helped out.

Here Abhi and Sarla Maa are not Pragya's dushman but supposed to be beloved ones.

One more thing-

So much is said about Abhi not understanding her!

No one ever told Abhi that she was not a gold digger. He figured it out on his own around MMS time, with that alimony thing.

When she was misbehaving with Daadi, everyone was pissed off with her (initial TaBhi pregnancy days) but it was Abhi who believed her to be acting.

He might not have figured out his love for Pragya easily. But then it wasn't simple for him with their arrangement of a marriage and Tannu in the equation. Pragya had no third person to worry about when she realized her love.

It's totally unfair to expect Abhi to understand A to Z of Pragya while she has been dishonest with him all along... for whatever reasons. And Pragya does not even understand him despite him being so transparent with his emotions.

Even since she came as Mogambo all are thinking shez torturing them. But no. shez just making tham work. Shez never made them starve to death etcetc.

The only torture she gave is to Abhi n Sarla , that too she just isnt showing her love towardds them. thats it. its not like she didnt give them money and fulfill their necessities. She definetly did everything that was necessary. She just stopped the unnecessary stuff.

Pavidolly!! Agreed.

Forum members often present POVs from what they see. But Pragya is different as Abhi sees her. He doesn't know her lies and truths most of the time.

For example- Abhi guesses Pragya would fast for him!

He asks her.

She says NO!

He asks her again, she says NO!

He brings a chocolate to give her to see if she is saying truth or not.

But Pragya puts some food around her mouth to show him she is already eating.

What was he supposed to do? To open her mouth and take a sample and do a chemical test for food?

Yeah he is supposed to understand her and not feel bad when his correct understanding dismissed with so much effort!!

More effort is put in in this Mogambo track to make Abhi believe Pragya is bad! Even then he is not believing fully and hoping Fuggy is still there inside her!!! But audience expects him to understand her completely without giving him the credit that he has done so well so far while the team tries to shake his faith every time!!
