Abhi already took care of his wife and baby and its a bit too early for them to come back to the bickering but in its own time, thy shall be back together :)

Chapter Eleven

"We never lost touch." She said with a flick of hair. "You know how real love is." Her smile turned dreamy. "In fact, I and Abhi were together the entire time he was filling in for ms. Arora's accidental husband."

"You did not mind him getting married?"

"No." She turned to the news reporter on her left. "As I mentioned earlier, it was entirely for his grandmother and we agreed to this fake marriage only so she would get better."

"Ms. Ahuja, what about the baby?"

"Oh, we plan to have a few of them too." She replied with a wink and tried to deflect the topic.

"Your baby boy, I meant." The reporter was more persistent.

"Abhi is going to be his father as much as I'm going to be his mother. The pictures I have provided should help you get rid of any doubts."

"You have recovered quite quickly after the baby. Do you plan to continue working after you get married to the rockstar?"

"Well, it only depends on the projects but you know my family and my husband will be my top priority."

"Ms. Ahuja, Mr. Abhishek Mehra has not answered any calls lately nor has he accompanied you. Is it because he is not over his first wife?"

"The reason Abhi is not here is because of his concerts in Australia. I don't think he has got anything to do with his first wife."

"What took him so long to get divorced, if he was so in love with you?"

"His grandmother." She leaned forward and steepled her fingers on the table. "Let's just say, it wasn't the right time for us but what we have gone through has made us stronger as a couple and we value each other more than ever."

"When is the wedding going to be?"

"We have not decided yet but as soon as Abhi is back and we finalize a date, you will be the first to know."

The screen showed a series of pictures of Abhi and Tannu together from the time the were together, before and after pragya's marriage. A few from Purab and Aliya's engagement, one from the visit to the hospital where Abbhi and Tannu had met before she was tested for pregnancy and one was there months old. Abhi was standing by Tannu, a hand on her back and she looked up to him. The last was taken only a couple of weeks ago, Tannu, Abhi and the baby were together. It was a candid shot, it seemed. They both were busy talking while Abhi was playing with the child on his lap. To anybody it looked like a picture perfect family.

"The good news for the rockstar fan is, he is now divorced but the bad news is he not single either. That's right, the singer is said to have resumed the relationship with his former girlfriend, Tanushree Ahuja. The celebrity couple has gone through a rough patch in terms of Abhishek Mehra's contractual marriage and Tanushir Ahuja's pregnancy but the couple has decided to hold on and give it their best shot.

Like they say, true love finds its way. The rockstar, as we all know is touring around Australia hence no statement could be recorded but we promise our viewers his take as soon as he is available.

We congratulate the couple again and wish them all the best. It's time for a commercial break, when we come back we review this week's movie release. Stay tuned!"

Pragya Abhishek Mehra only zoned out as she grasped what the news meant. She slumped on the sofa, thinking what could Abhi possibly want now. Her phone was ringing and she rummaged through her bag to find it.

"Ms. Arora, I'm Mahesh from BBN news. Would you like to-?" Pragya looked at her phone and cut the call. The last thing she wanted to do now was to make statements. She already had too may of her own questions, why would Abhi do that to her? Well, that one was easy. Of course, he was a man and he must need a partner by his side. When had pragya ever promised to come back to him? Even in his letter he had not mentioned about another chance.

Several times she scrolled down her contact list and she had almost dialled his international number, which he always used for his family and emergency but she cancelled the call.

He had a right to live his life.

But he loved you. A small voice in her mind whispered

Then why had he not called yet and explained that the press conference was lie, came the rational reply.

By the time pragya got ready in her hot pink sari and a multicolor full sleeved blouse, she was more determined than ever. A myriad of emotions were running in her mind, most prominent of all was anger.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Her sister asked when she gave her her clutch.

"Right now? I'm not sure about anything else but only this Bulbul." She held both of bulbul's hands in hers, probably taking energy and courage to face her battle.

"Let's do this!" Came her reply and the sisters hugged one last time before the younger one wished praya luck.

hehe well at least it's tanu's fault rather than abhi's. i did wonder if a marriage/replacement hurdle was pending. intrigued to see what the sisters are up to in retaliation!
