well i know pragya has made wrong decisions but she is not spineless...not at all...if somebody is spineless its abhi!

i really respect pragya most of the times.one strong woman she is...

i know she is strong because she never steps back when it comes to other people.she doesn't stand up for herself.and that is because she has always been shown that she is worthless. all those rejections have made her believe that she is not worth standing up for!

It's not hard for me to say the soap favors Abhi. It's a soap. It's inherently problematic when it comes to writing females. They're victims or truly awful villains. There is often no in between for them. They don't save themselves, they don't speak up and get applauded by other characters for it (even when Pragya does it, people are on her case about it), they definitely aren't multidimensional. They are either sad/mahaan or conniving schemers on the opposite end of the spectrum. They don't get to be human. They don't get to be witty and intelligent, and if they happen to have a rare moment of it, it's inevitably overshadowed by the hero that saves the day. Or it comes from the evil girl. That's why Aliya is often still my homegirl. 😆

Just look at the reaction to the characters on these very forums. Abhi does something wrong. Excuses galore. He had to to do that for his sister. He had to do that because his wife never spoke up and made him hate her. He had to do that to trick others so his plan would work. On the other hand, Pragya does something wrong. Poor, poor Abhi being victimized by his cruel wife. As if she was doing this for sport or revenge like he did. As if Abhi could ever be victim in any comparable terms to the women.

I even feel sorry for Tanu sometimes. Yeah she's a dumb awful idiot who let her man get married to someone else and then did some disgusting things in the interim. But she was led to believe by Abhi that he loved her. Now she's garbage to him because he's found someone who will do just about anything for him. Tanu is disposable now - hence the insults go to her now. What man is ever portrayed like that? Luckily for soap purposes, Tanu has made herself a piece of garbage who won't go away so easily.

heroines never misunderstand, behave rude,insult .. they are swwet,good,multi talented,sacrificial ,sanskari etc..

the soap favours the women because audience ( the trp viewers) like that way

well lk i am glad that i am not the only who who sympathizes with tanu!

i really feel bad for her!

and its really disgusting that modern women are mostly shown evil in soaps. i remember in the new year party indu daasi said something about pragya dressing up sensibly and other girls wearing exposing clothes and so they are not perfect!!!

total crap!!! crap!! crap!! crap!!

and i never excuse the mistakes of abhi!

there are times i feel i am very partial. i find something to blame abhi for whatever is happening. and when i don't get anything i simply tell myself that all this wouldn't have been happening if abhi never married pragya!
