Chapter 6: Kyu tu mera humsafar hain??

Bulbul was watching tv when Sarla came and sat beside her with her daughter's favorite caramel popcorn

'Achanaak kiya? Main tou pehle se hi is organization ki saath kaam kar rahi hoon'' bulbul took a pause and then said '' vo tou vikram ko pasand nahi tha issi liye paused rakha ' and she entered two more popcorn in her mouth
Sarla looked at the tv blankly for some seconds, that man's name reminded her the day when her daughter came to her ending her married life. She was her mother that's why she didn't want her daughter to be a divorcee but how can she say that to Bulbul. She couldn't cause she knew her daughter was so wounded that now she didn't want to spend her life with Vikram...or anyone else...
'Maa''?? Sarla came back to reality. 'Main jati hoon kal subha jaldi jana hein''
'Apna khayal rakhna tu anat bacho ki seva karte karte apne bare main maat bhul jana''
Bulbul giggled and hugged her mom.

Purab fell from his bed wrapped in blanket. Struggling with the blanket for some time finally he came out...hair all messed, eyes half opened and yawning.
'Shit!!'' screamed Purab as soon as he realized that he was late.
He got ready as soon as he could and went downstairs.
Amrata, purab's mother was already dressed up. A tall beautiful smart working woman Amrata was. After her beloved husband had that accident she took care of everything and never complained neither did she ever made Purab's father realize that he is cripple now. Instead she always said
'Humein tou khush honaa chahiye ki humari zindagi main humein role exchange karne ka moka mila...tum aur kitne din baap ka role karte??'' and both would burst out laughing.

'Sorry mom but jana parega...bye bye bye'' and purab rushing out of the house with a sandwich in his hand.

Max, the leader of the team was again and again looking at his watch. The whole bus was packed everyone was present except for one.
'Puraaab!! Kyaaa itne der??'' asked Max when he saw purab getting into the bus
Purab looked at max with a guilt look.
'Ab jaa voha ek hi seat hain go and sit there''
'haa'' said purab panting
'So guys we all ready for the good cause?? Yaad rakhna hum 6hours mein voha poch jayenge and then we will have a blast with those kids!! Lets go go go''max finished his sentence with three claps as purab advanced towards his seat.
A girl was sitting there facing the window. As purab sat the girl turned and he jumped out of his seat as if he has seen a ghost .
'Kya hua purab??'' asked Max
He looked at Max and opened his mouth to speak but he saw Max's face and realized he was already annoyed with him for being late

and he sat down like an obedient kid.
'Tum yaha??'' asked purab
'ha main iss organization ki saath kam karti hoon'said bulbul as politely as she could trying to hide the anger for seeing him there.

bulbul hesitated a bit and said 'maine ek saal ka break liya tha'' and turned to look outside the window
Socha tha iska chehera kabhi nahi dekhungi ab dekho mere bagal mein betha hai bulbul murmured under her breath.
Purab took out his ipod...duniya mein aur koi ladki nai hain yehi mili mujhe...he plugged the earphones in his ears and closed his eyes.
purab was half asleep when...
'Stooop sstop the bus please stop the bus''
purab woke quickly
'huh what kya hua'' he was looking right and left and he realized it was bulbul who was standing and screaming.
yeh lo pagal ko pagalpaan ka doura paar giya
'Kya hua bulbul??'' asked Max rushing towards her
'Max stop the bus''
'Likin kyun ya hua??''
'Vo dekho'' she turned and pointed back towards something.
Max and purab both looked to see what was she pointing at and they both were shaken.
