Evidently EK's team have no idea how to keep a story going or justifying actions. So Pragya is so obsessed with what will happen to her mother if she finds out her marriage is fake that he is willing ot force Purab into a marriage against his will and deprive her own sister of the man she loves? What a selfish woman? And to top this she is willing to make her own life miserable in the process. How is any of this "mahaan?" It is utterly stupid.
And then, you have poor Purab guilty for not having on through with a marriage that he never wanted just to please the spoilt and reknowned tantrum thrower, Bulbul. Evidently she cares NOTHING for Purab and is quite willing to throw him at Aliya without a single idea of what matters to him.
Both sisters are using Purab as a pawn and THAT is VERY WRONG. I find NOTHING admirable in their actions. It is wrong to the highest level.
If mother is sick, get a doctor and a good medical check up. Get her own medications and how about getting her to lose some weight to help get her BP down? SOrry but I have high BP and stress but I do not need to have people walk on egg shells for me. As a mother Sarla should NEVER have pressured her daughter into any marriage unless he wanted it for herself and should always have made herself there to let her know she and her home is always open if her marriage is miserable.
Pragya's decision to remain in a dead marriage is very sad. We are in the 21st century and EK still teaches women to remain in dead marriages to make others happy. She also teaches parents to leave their children in there by "threatneing" with ill health. That's wrong.
Sorry EK; as much as there is fun with Abhi and Pragya, your reasons for keeping them together might work with some people, but not with me. I see way too many holes in this plot and your writing team needs to get together and work harder.
