Thats just illogical on so many levels 😕 And i agree..They rushed with Purab-Bulbul's love story just to create conflict & make way for Abhi-Pragya's marriage..I have never understood why Purab is shown to be so much in love with Bulbul 😆

Yeah he admitted but this forum refuses to acknowledge that..I love how everyone makes him to this victim of circumstances while completely trashing Abhi,Pragya and BB overlooking all the MUs and majbooris😆.Not talking abt u rogerrocks, just mentioning the general trend I've seen around here 😆.I dont know whether Suresh wud've acted the same,if Pragya didnt call off their wedding midway..I kind of think no...yes he was irrevocably in love with BB(somehow the makers have shown the depth of his feelings towards BB well tho I dont ship that pairing at all),but still him being the man of principles,I feel he wudnt have pulled off this wimp act lol.

BB's character is like that,a dreamer. She thinks everything is fair in love and war.She has an absurd logic thinking big sacrifices are required to prove the honesty of one's love.Though today I wont balme her much, cos it was not only abt Pragya today, her mom was involved too.She was going paranoid subconsciously and suggesting the most strange ideas. What I mean to say though,Purab cud've backed out from this whole mess ages ago.He cud've said a strict NO to BB during the first time only, when she tried to impose this responsibility of saving Prag's marriage by sacrificing his happiness and love.Even after that he dot many chances,to tell of Abhi,Alia,BB,Pragya..like a man he should've sorted out his priorities, to make strong decisions and acted on it at the right time.Prags didnt arm twist or blackmail Purab into this whole marriage thing. He himself got involved in this complicated situation where ditching the girl and running away the last moment felt like the only option left.Running away and avoid facing ur fear just shows the weakness in ur character.BB's claims and demands expose her immaturity and delusion.

Haven't seen the epi yet but hear, hear!

Yes, if they want to mess up their lives because they have no backbone or want to protect silly Sarla, welcome to the two sisters. How dare they even expect Purab to comply and follow their stupid plan of marrying Aliya? Idiotic to say the least and incredibly self centered as well.

Bulbul needs to think a million times before she can ask the guy to take such a drastic step of marrying that witch.

Pragya needs to rethink - she is letting her sister sacrifice for their mother, okay that may be kosher but to ask a stranger and Purab is a relative stranger to her, to marry her wicked sister in law in the hopes of gaining nothing is far fetched and delusional. She knows very well her marriage ends the day Purab marries Aliya and that silly Sarla will find out anyway so why put off the inevitable and hang poor Purab in the process?

Or is Pragya giving Abhi that parting gift she promised "I can do this much for you for being so nice to my mother"? That is bull crap if a strong girl like her is suddenly putty cos her jerk of a husband showed some (fake) concern (he says he doesn't know how Silly Sarla will react but he knows it will break his Daadi's heart) for her mother and she has fallen for the two timing, lying cheat in spite of all.

I would so love to see Abhi pining for Pragya and she turning up her nose at him, unfortunately she will play the mahaan abla naari to the hilt who in sati savitri fashion will do seva to the Patidev :(

I like to believe Abhi would have abided by his promise and let her explain, despite Aliya and Tanu's protestations. At least that was Pragya's belief. Now that opportunity is completely gone, in her mind due to Purab.

I didn't watch carefully today but I thought Pragya's issue is he should have considered not getting married before when she told him to. She told him not to do it but he decided to anyway. It was just poor timing and no explanation forcing everything to come to a head.

The plan to marry BB is not ridiculous because, logically, that is the only way Purab is going to keep Bulbul protected from Aliya and Abhi. She technically and rightfully belongs to him and he can claim his right to take care of her. This also closes the options of someone else asking him to reconsider marrying Aliya. Basically he wants to bind humself to the cause for which he had initially rejected Aliya. He is not being selfish, but at this time doing the last SOS act. Though agree, the writing of dialogues is bent to make it look ridiculous. But I would still go and stand besides his Chaachi, who was all along giving Purab and Bulbul the right advice. And that tete-a-tete with his Chaachi and himself in the car, tells us that Puran suddenly has become the most lucid person on the horizon.
End of the day, Purab is into this dirty business of agreeing to marry Aliya only for Bulbul's sake. He listened to her before and when her plan fell apart, he is taking the decision now. If he marries Bulbul, then consequences are straightforward and can be dealt with...with none of the fooling around games that the Arora sisters and Mehra Crazies are indulging in.

The only sorry part for a female soap watcher like me is thatm in present times of TV Trends...somehow or the other, the males redeem their actions, it is always the good hearted prudent females, in whom we vest ourselves so much, they disappoint us so hard.

Abhi, even after the beating and all this MU generating acts of his, he is gonna be another Purab, lucid in his mind once reality comes before him. Feel so sorry that even female leads like Pragya can disappoint us so much.

Kahan gaye woh din, jab we could have faith in our female leads for being sparky and brilliant on Indian TV. No wonder, watching Pak Dramas is much better.

I agree with everything you said..I called Suresh a wimp cos he kept waiting for the right opportunity to break off the marriage & then once Pragya got to know the truth, he went ahead with it & convinced her of his love even after knowing fully well that he still loves BB 😆 Anyways, coming to Purab, i do think he would have gone ahead with the marriage if he din overhear that convo between Alia & Tannu..Giving him the benefit of doubt, he was probably under the delusion that Abhi will give his marriage a chance if he marries Alia & for BB's sake, he was ready to go ahead with it..But once he realized the sacrifice is pointless & no one is gonna benefit out of it, he decided to elope..Not the right decision to make but i do understand what pushed him to it..And lets forget him for a moment..Am just surprised BB & Pragya expect him to make all these sacrifices..Its one thing to sacrifice your life or love & go through hell for your sister/ mom but quite another to expect another person to follow suit & do the same 😆

I meant ridiculous in the sense that he planned it immediately and didn't bother to tell her about it. 😆 Its logical for Purab to want to marry Bulbul. But c'mon - it's a little hilarious. Running away from one bride one day and grabbing another one the next day. 😆

I won't blame Purab here. He intended to go along with the wedding due to his promise to Bulbul. But once he found out that Pragya will be kicked out anyway, he obviously didn't see the point in marrying Aliyah needlessly. This makes him the wisest of the lot in my eyes.

We really can't blame him for backing out..except ...he should have done it upfront and not sneaked away like that.

Bulbul and Pragya needed a shaking though. Bulbul for not understanding his reasoning and Pragya for not using her head. Either way she out of the house. So what difference does it make if Purab marries Aliyah or not?

In her mind, he just ran off and left her to deal with the fallout, which could potentially be someone else harshly telling her mom the truth rather than she herself doing it gently. Of course she's going to lash out at the person she feels is responsible for escalating the situation. He didn't even leave an explanation.

Wait... doesnt Pragya know about the letter? Tannu showed it to her and she was under the impression that Tannu was "going to handle things" there.

So, Pragya does know about the letter.

Of course, who the hell gave Tannu permission to enter that room, I dont know!

The thing is the other characters of the soap are doing nonsensical things under a MU or under a "majboori".

Purab was never under any MU or actual "majboori".

When he was asked to marry Aaliyah he happily agreed.

And one year later, he happily fell in love with BB, forgetting Aaliyah. He did not tell Aaliyah or Abhi about BB. Nor did he tell BB about Aaliyah. That doesn't sit well with me.

And then, when he knows Abhi married Pragya under MU, although he knows very well about Tannu, he goes with BB-Pragya's plan rather than giving them some piece of mind that Abhi and Prayga may never work, even though he thinks Pragya is not Abhi's type. He should know Abhi better than anyone else for he managed his girlfriends like forever.

And then, he commits to marry Aaliyah. Runs away in the middle of the wedding. I mean Abhi and his family is known to him from childhood. That doesn't sit well with me either.

Okay fine, agreed, he ran away in that heat of the moment, scared of marrying scary Aaliyah (lol). Then why try to marry BB right away? Again, Abhi's family is shattered, Sarla has no clue about their wedding, Pragya's marriage will be broken and her life will be shit.. Is that a time to marry when all your near and dear ones are suffering?

Technically, yes, Purab is a free individual and should have the right to marry whoever he wants. But he should responsibly avail what he wants as well.
