Yes forcing some 1 else to go through it wrong. But Purab is equally been wrong by allowing himself to be forced.He cud always say I will not do it as this is not the soln.Does he have no self respect that he is being kicked around like football ? And we talk of pragya's self respect. Where is purab's ?

Agreed..Purab shouldn't have given in to the demands in the first place..But IMO, he would have gone ahead and fulfilled his promise if he hadn't overheard that convo between Tannu & Alia..Since he realized the sacrifice was pointless, he decided to be utterly selfish & run away from the place..He should have been upfront but am glad he atleast took the right decision at the last moment..Pragya after all this still thinks about Abhi & Alia..Purab is atleast being a lil more selfish & thinking about his own happiness..And i do want him to grow a spine..Reason why i said he should break up with BB & make it clear to Abhi that he wont marry Alia come what may..Clear his misconception about Pragya & leave the place..

Objectively, the girls shouldn't expect anyone to follow along in their stupid plans.


But I can also understand why they're lashing out at him, like a scapegoat. The girls never had a proper solution to their problems because again, they are dumb and looked for a short term solution for long term issues. Purab willingly agreed to their plan, then reneged, and things went all crazy because of those last minute actions. Their solution was never going to work but now all hope of rectifying matters are also gone (in their minds). It's reasonable to be freaked out and yell.


But yeah, Purab doesn't need to do anything they tell him to do. Nor should he. Because again, they are dumb. And I'm glad he ran. And if he ever asked me, which he won't because he's fictional, I will tell him I'm glad he ran.

The best thing he could have done the moment he overheard the convo is confront Abhi in front of everyone..Tell him that its Bulbul he loves & not Pragya..He foolishly decided to go ahead with the wedding for BB's happiness cos she was under the delusion Pragya will be happy but now that he knows they plan to kick her out anyways, he has decided to call off the wedding..And without listening to anyone's emotional atyachar, he should have left the place with dignity..But unfortunately, they need drama so they made him elope by writing a letter 😆

Lo and behold! The absence of logic heralds the arrival of the Logic Hunters🤗

This show is hinged on such a flimsy premise, it has me rolling my eyes upwards with each episode😕
The characters are caught in some sort of time warp between Victorian and present times, in much the same way as Pragya's ultra conservative nun-like avatar and Tannu's uber chic😆
Considering it is based on a classic, they could have spent more time fleshing out the characters, keeping in mind the sense and sensibilities of the modern audience.

All that aside, what confounds me the most is the ever growing TRPs. For the life of me I can't figure out what it is about this show that has grabbed the audience's attention😕
