Vikram explains to a speechless Dadi that Niyati is now happy in her own world with a another man but tells her not to worry as soon Jhanvi would get married to Shaurya and tells her to get well soon. Dadi looks away disappointedly.
Shaurya is pacing around when Jhanvi comes in excitedly, hugs him and starts chattering about getting married in three days and how all the preperations have begun. She stops abruptly as she sees Shaurya's mood is down and asks what it wrong. Shaurya says he is worried about Dadi's condition and Jhanvi comforts him saying everything would be alright. He requests her to make soup for Dadi but Jhanvi refuses saying she hates cooking and that if Binidiya and SMS are there, why does she need to cook!? Jhanvi leaves from there in a huff and Shaurya is about to follow her when he recieves a call.
Niyati is on the line.Shaurya is about to disconnect the phone in frustration but Niyati pleads him not to and says she had called to know if Dadi was ok. She says that a certain dish and soup would be good for Dadi's heart condition and she tells him where the ingredients are and asks that it be made for Dadi. Niyati then disconnects the phone without letting Shaurya speak.
Shaurya is sitting in his room remembering Niyati. He remembers his mother giving the kangan to Niyati and explaining its significance. He then remembers Jhanvi recieving the kangan and then throwing them on the bed later, claiming that these rituals were boring. He continues to compare Niyati and Jhanvi.
