Ashutosh changed into his surgical gown..took off his ring..the ring..a gold band that nidhi had given him..on their reception day..he caressed it tenderly as he clised the drawer n moved out ..almost colliding with dr Joshi.."sir dr Mallika is critical..shes on oxygen " Ashutosh exhaled deeply ..clised his eyes for a second n said"plz inform her brother..n put in all your effort..you know you are the best..thats all!!i have to go..nidhi is in labour.."!and walked off..meeting baba col verma n dadi bua in the corridor. .baba raised his eyebrow.."i am going in..sab theek hoga..dadi bua.."dadi bua held his hands n said"beta..meri bachchi ka..."and Ashutosh went in..

Nidhi was on the labour cot..exposed as Ashutosh tried to look in..but Sudhir said"stand by her ..its some time away"!!and dr Pooja told the younger drs to insert the saline..as Nidhi tried to speak..and could barely grunt..pain seemed overpowering as Ashutosh was close to her..but words seemed to fail him..he had thought of this moment day n night but when it actually arrived..it seemed more tense..more fearful ..more painful for nidhi..than he had imagined..He caught her shoulders as he saw the pain waves on the monitor and nidhi kind of heaving herself..'Ashutosh. ..ash..."it was all she could say before Sudhir yelled "push nidhi..plz push..hard"!and nidhi complied..tears streaming down her face..her lips quivering..and hands clutching at Ashu's arm...

"Ashutosh come...see"and Ashutosh looked at the heavenly sight ..of the rays of light beaming from the dark tunnel..and as nidhi's cries peaked...a curly haired baby girl emerged..yelling within a split second..as Ashutosh heaved a sigh of relief ..and held her..aa dr cut the chord...n took the baby to clean her..Ashutosh came close to nidhi...kissed her on the forehead n whispered"Maggi has arrived...bilkul tumhare jaisi"!and nidhi looked around trying to see her baby as Ashu said"clean ker ke dikhaata hoon...just rest before ..the pain intensifies again..."nidhi nodded as Dr Pooja gave Ashutosh some lemonade to give nidhi..nidhi suddenly choked in his arms...and cried..much louder than before..Sudhir held her.."whats it nidhi.."and looked at her bump.there seemed to be a heave!!Sudhir panicked "the baby is changing its orientation. .oh God!!"

Ashutosh seemed to turn pale as he held on to nidhi...

Concluding part..

"Oh God..the baby is breach now..its moved through 50 degrees..and is kicking..."!said dr Sudhir as nidhi wailed...Ashutosh forgot all about Maggi..their 15 minute old daughter. .and held Nidhi tightly"kuch nahi hoga nidhi..you are gonna be ok..wed make it.."as nidhi yelled as if she was being torn apart..Dr Sudhir looked at dr Pooja"we cant wait..lets prepare for C section...anesthesia plz"!and just as the anaesthetist was going to put the mask on nidhi..she looked at Ashutosh. .n he paused..and looked at the nurse"sister..baby"

Ashutosh held the tiny maggi..a plump n v fair baby girl with dense mop of curly hair and brought her to nidhi...nidhi's eyes were overflowing. .she just tried to kiss her hair..before a wave of pain ripped her..n Dr Pooja shouted"no delays..plz"!

Nidhi was unconscious as the drs did the C section and pulled out a plump thick haired baby boy..as Ashutosh looked in disbelief..was there anything more ge could have asked for...

He stood by nidhi..holding her hand ..and holding back his tears...tears of joy..tears of relief tears if completion...

As the drs stitched nidhi up.and discarded their gloves ..Sudhir shook hands with Ashutosh. ."congratulations. .the family is complete"!!

Two rooms away..Mallika was breathing with difficulty...as Aditya stood close to her..."didi...yeh jya ho gaya..."and she whispered...'Ashutosh. ..."but her eyes had that emptiness. .that dejection..as she shut them again...away from everything. ...

"Dr Ashutosh..Dr nidhi is gaining consciousness..."said the nurse...and Ashutosh collected his two bundles of joy from baba n col verma..holding one in each arm..talking to them...and came into nidhi's room...she lay..pale but stable..opening ger eyes..that spark in them..as he came close to her...n held out the babies..one pink n one blue ..and said"lo..humare Tingu mingu.."and she smiled as she kissed their foreheads..and looked at him..their father..her husband..her love..her friend philosopher n guide...her everything. .n he sat by her making her feel him...with his hands..his home..his world n hus heart full of joy...nidhi smiled...n he frowned at her..before breaking into thst sunshine smile...with his world complete...

Two rooms away..Dr Joshi removed the mask...n patted Aditya. .."we tried our best..."!

The love of Ashu nidhi had overcome all hurdles...it was because live is faith n faith is forever...

FRIENDS THIS STORY ENDS HERE...BUT WED KEEP MEETING N ID UPDATE THE OTHER THREAD...GUDDI GOES TO SCHOOL!!!!

What a beautiful end to this gorgeous journey, The update was so beautiful. Niddhi and Ashutosh are those two individuals who came across all the hurdles of life so beautifully.

Absolutely loved the update.

Indu Ji , words cant describe how beautifully you write.

Cant wait to get back to Ms.Guddi 😆😛
