"Ouuuch ...helppp me"!it was a distraught nidhi crying out..as Ashutosh tried to calm her and gave her an agony ball to press and dialled baba"baba..nidhi is in labour..aa jaaiye..aur col verma dadi bua ko bhi.."
And hung up as nidhi threw the agony ball n cried "kuch keriye..dr ko bulaiye plz.."and Dr Ashutosh looked perplexed..holding ger hand..he said"jaan Sudhir is on the way..dont worry..take long breaths.."and nidhi closed her eyes..as her nails dug into Ashutosh 's arm..n he seemed to wince..just as he called for Dr Priyanka ..who ran in ..and said"sir lets take her into the labour room..labour pulse seems v strong..twins are always tough for the mother..."!Ashutosh wiped his forehead as he wheeled nidhi along with the nurses..he held her hand as she threw her head sideways...and Ashutosh loosened his tie..he was at his nerve's end...as Priyanka helped nidhi into a labour gown..and asked "kuch peena hai..thoda juice lele..hydrated rahegi"nidhi nodded...as Priyanka teased "dr Ashutosh ko dekh..lag raha hai unhe labour ho rahi hai"!and nidhi giggled before a shreik came afain...and as Priyanka nudged Ashutosh. .he came up with an orange drink."sorry jaan..bus Sudhir aa jaye.."!and nidhi eorked a smile and patted his hand as he caressed her bump n could feel his babies crying to emerge out ..into his arms..
Nidhi moaned..Ashutosh understood he had to deal with his nerves n stand by nidhi..as the nurse came to take off her bangles n earrings..Ashutosh said softly"sister ..plz aaraam se"!!sister smiled as she moved to take off nidhi's mangalsutra..but nidhi held on..n cried "no..plz rehne deejiye na..plz "and Ashutosh felt himself suddenly very close to tears..as he put his hand on nidhi's forehead n said"plz sister rehne do..a request"!and the sister withdrew with a smile as Dr Sudhir entered ..he had already dressed in his surgical gown..and his team with dr Pooja n two other drs were ready..he gave Ashutosh a look n asked"in or out "??and as Ashutosh replied"in.."Sudhir gave him an irritated look and said"then go man..get sanitised n wear ur surgical gown..jaldi"!
Ashutosh squeezed nidhi by the shoulder n said"buss jaan id be back..abhi aaya"!!
