Sorry I couldn't comment earlier first due to my sprained hand and second I waited the story to unfold. I'm sorry I couldn't connect with the Nidhi but the characters you tried to portray where etched and embedded well...the story was superbly narrated... I felt the angst that was cogent, the pain that was eloquent, the hope that can't be reached, the dream that couldn't turn to reality...Kudos to you my dear friend for narrating this so beautifully! 👏

I can understand - not many people could digest Nidhi's self thots or at least a few of them .. I had anticipated that.. but they were just that - thots - thots of a temporarily addled mind.. nothing else.. it was a big challenge to portray this nidhi.. the thing to keep in mind here is that he faced so many new realities in a span of a few hours..

Thank you I am glad u think the characters were well portrayed and u could feel their pain n angst, as well as all other emotions.

The story and Ashutosh here reminded me of famous ghazal ...

"Ask me not, my love, for the passions of yore...

I had believed that with you, the world (would be) luminous;
(that) with the pain of your love, there (would be) no issue with worldly sorrows;
(that) your beauty (would) lend permanence to the spring;
(that) save your eyes, nothing else matters in the world;

Dear Shirley, a fantastic end to a truly unique but hard hitting OS. Though I started reading this OS from its first update the pairing was not to my taste. Yes could imagine only MB in the role of Dr. Ashutosh. But the way the story unfolded with brilliant dialogues - my heart went out for Nidhi. first of all - Thank you so much for this beautiful n detailed review. I feel happy that you liked this diff. take of mine... Yes frankly, I knew the pairing was a risk,... in fact that pairing itself was the base of the plot. the plot again was totally risqu.. but the concept was close to my heart.. so I decided to pot it here on the forum.. I m glad I did.. had some good discussions on the thread and people like u and few others commented for the first time on my writing... thank you again..

Yes, it was like Nidhi was at an emotional standstill - the catch of course was that it was all her illusion n Rohan had actually made a place in her heart and Ashutosh was actually just a stab on her heart now... of course she took her time to realize that..

After I read the previous update I was totally shocked but this update was truly fabulous 👏. I somehow knew for sure that you will turn the tables here and that is what you have done so beautifully. Dr. Ashutosh did not have to do a thing here - Nidhi realises and appreciates what a precious man she has in her life during the course of their outing. Her sense of glee with the shopping - typical Nidhi. She reminding Dr. Ashutosh about the toy for his son which he had so conveniently forgotten tugged at my heart but the best part is the finale when she confesses to Rohan 👍🏼.

I know the last ch shocked a lot of people and let me admit that was my actual intention..wat to do? cliffhangers are my weakness... could not resist them even in this v. sensitive OS. I am so relieved that I could portray her realization well - actually not I but we - me n Deeps... Yes I felt nidhi may be changed a bit but shopping would kind of get her back to her original self for a bit..

The toy reminder idea was given by Deeps...

I am so glad the finale came out well enough n u liked it...

@bold - yes, it had to come from within.. or it could have looked forced by Ashutosh

And let me confess that I started reading this OS because of two reasons - one is you are a brilliant writer and secondly Deepali Gupta was your sounding board. I have always looked up to her reviews at several posts but mainly at Pansy's FF - her analysis are superlative 👏. You two make an extraordinary and incredible pair 👍🏼. Hats off young lady for this OS.

Yes absolutely! Her reviews are to die for..😃 Yeah it was an uncredible experience writing this OS with hr by my side.. she was my guide, my motivator and quality control dept all rolled into one.. throughout this OS.
